1 Corinthians 1
1 Paul called to be an Apostle of Iesus Christ, through the will of God, and our brother Sosthenes,

2 Vnto the Church of God, which is at Corinthus, to them that are sanctified in Christ Iesus, Saintes by calling, with all that call on the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ in euery place, both their Lord, and ours:
tukunnembela mwanya ŵanli ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu ŵa ku Kolinto, ŵanyamwe mmilanjikwe mme ŵandu ŵa Akunnungu mu kulumbikana ni Kilisito Che Yesu, pamo ni ŵandu wose ŵaali papalipose ŵakwapopelela Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito jwali chilongola jwao ni jwetu.
3 Grace be with you, and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Iesus Christ.
Tukunsachila umbone ni chitendewele kutyochela kwa Akunnungu Atati ŵetu ni Ambuje Che Yesu Kilisito.
4 I thanke my God alwayes on your behalfe for the grace of God, which is giuen you in Iesus Christ,
Ngwatogolela Akunnungu kwa ligongo lyenu moŵa gose kwa ligongo lya umbone wa Akunnungu umpatile kwa litala li Che Yesu Kilisito.
5 That in all things ye are made rich in him, in all kinde of speach, and in all knowledge:
Pakuŵa mu kulumbikana ni Kilisito mmele ŵakusichila mu indu yose, mpatile umanyilisi wose ni ukombole wose wa kulalichila.
6 As the testimonie of Iesus Christ hath bene confirmed in you:
Pakuŵa umboni nkati Kilisito ulimbichikwe mwa ŵanyamwe,
7 So that ye are not destitute of any gift: wayting for the appearing of our Lord Iesus Christ.
kwayele nganimma ŵakusoŵekwa ni ntuuka wauliwose kutyochela kwa Mbumu jwa Akunnungu, mpela inkuti kulolela kuunukulikwa kwa Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
8 Who shall also confirme you vnto the ende, that ye may be blamelesse, in the day of our Lord Iesus Christ.
Ŵelewo chanlimbisye mpaka kumbesi kuti mme ŵangali chileŵo pa lyuŵa lichauje Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
9 God is faithfull, by whom ye are called vnto the fellowship of his Sonne Iesus Christ our Lord.
Akunnungu ali ŵakukulupilichika, ŵelewo ŵammilasile kuti ntame mu kukamulangana ni Che Yesu Kilisito mwanagwawo ŵaali Ambuje ŵetu.
10 Nowe I beseeche you, brethren, by the Name of our Lord Iesus Christ, that ye all speake one thing, and that there be no dissensions among you: but be ye knit together in one mind, and in one iudgement.
Achalongo achinjangu, ngunchondelela mlina lya Ambuje ŵetu Che Yesu Kilisito, njilane wose mu inkuŵecheta kuti kukapagwa kulekangana pasikati jenu, nnopennope nkole nganisyo simo ni nningwa umo.
11 For it hath bene declared vnto me, my brethren, of you by them that are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you.
Achalongo achinjangu, ŵandu ŵane ŵaali mu mpingo u che Kiloe asalile kuti ŵanyamwe nkulekangana kwa maloŵe.
12 Nowe this I say, that euery one of you saith, I am Pauls, and I am Apollos, and I am Cephas, and I am Christs.
Ngusaka sale chimbilikene kukwenu, mundu jwine akuti, “Une ngwakuya che Paolo,” ni jwine akuti, “Une ngwakuya che Apolo,” jwine akuti, “Une ngwakuya che Kefa,” ni jwine akuti, “Une ngwakuya Kilisito.”
13 Is Christ deuided? was Paul crucified for you? either were ye baptized into the name of Paul?
Ana nkuganisya kuti Kilisito agaŵaniche? Ana che Paolo ni juŵaŵambikwe pa nsalaba kwaligongo lyenu? Pane ana mwabatiswe kuti mme ŵakulijiganya ŵa che Paolo?
14 I thanke God, that I baptized none of you, but Crispus, and Gaius,
Ngwatogolela Akunnungu pakuŵa nganinambatisya jwalijose pasikati jenu ikaŵe che Kilispo ni che Gayo pe.
15 Lest any should say, that I had baptized into mine owne name.
Kwayele ngapagwa mundu jwakukombola kusala kuti abatiswe aŵe jwakulijiganya jwangu.
16 I baptized also the houshold of Stephanas: furthermore knowe I not, whether I baptized any other.
Ngukumbuchila, iyoyo nambatisye che Sitefano ni ŵaali mu nyuumba jao, nambo ngangukumbuchila kuti nambatisye mundu jwine.
17 For CHRIST sent me not to baptize, but to preache the Gospel, not with wisdome of wordes, lest the crosse of Christ should be made of none effect.
Pakuŵa Kilisito ngananajichisya kwabatisya ŵandu, nambo naalalichile ŵandu Ngani Jambone, ni ngaŵa kwa maloŵe gakwanonyelesya ŵandu, kuti chiwa cha Kilisito pa nsalaba chinaŵe cha bule.
18 For that preaching of the crosse is to them that perish, foolishnesse: but vnto vs, which are saued, it is the power of God.
Pakuŵa utenga nkati chiwa cha Kilisito pa nsalaba ukuwoneka uloŵelo kwa ŵakusochela, nambo kwetuwe ŵatukukulupuswa, tukugaona machili ga Akunnungu.
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisedome of the wise, and will cast away the vnderstanding of the prudent.
Malembelo ga Akunnungu gakusala, “Chinalujonanje lunda lwa ŵandu ŵaali ni lunda, ni umanyilisi wa ŵandu ŵaali ni umanyilisi chinaukane.”
20 Where is the wise? where is the Scribe? where is the disputer of this worlde? hath not God made the wisedome of this worlde foolishnesse? (aiōn g165)
Alikwapi jwakwete lunda? Alikwapi jwakwiganya malajisyo? Alikwapi jwakumanyilila kutagula indu ya pachilambo? Akunnungu alutesile lunda lwa chilambo chino luŵe uloŵelo. (aiōn g165)
21 For seeing the worlde by wisedome knewe not God in the wisedome of GOD, it pleased God by the foolishnesse of preaching to saue them that beleeue:
Nti yalutite lunda lwa Akunnungu, ŵandu ŵa pachilambo ngakukombola kwamanyilila Akunnungu kwa lunda lwao achinsyene. Nambo Akunnungu ŵasachile kwakulupusya ŵandu ŵakwakulupilila kwa litala lya utenga utukwalalichila, aula waukuoneka uli uloŵelo kwa aŵala ŵaali ni lunda lwa chiundu.
22 Seeing also that the Iewes require a signe, and the Grecians seeke after wisdome.
Ŵayahudi akusaka imanyisyo ni Ŵagiliki akusosa lunda.
23 But wee preach Christ crucified: vnto the Iewes, euen a stumbling blocke, and vnto the Grecians, foolishnesse:
Nambo uweji tukunlalichila ngani ja Kilisito juŵaŵambikwe pa nsalaba. Ngani jajikuloleka chakukuŵasya kwa Ŵayahudi ni uloŵelo kwa ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi.
24 But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.
Nambo kwa ŵele uŵaŵilanjikwe ni Akunnungu, Ŵayahudi pane ŵandu ŵangaŵa Ŵayahudi, Kilisito ali machili ga Akunnungu ni lunda lwa Akunnungu.
25 For the foolishnesse of God is wiser then men, and the weakenesse of God is stronger then men.
Pakuŵa chachikuloleka uli uloŵelo wa Akunnungu chikwete lunda kupunda lunda lwa ŵandu, nombe chachikuloleka uli ulepetelo wa Akunnungu chikwete machili kugapunda machili ga ŵandu.
26 For brethren, you see your calling, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called.
Nipele achalongo achinjangu, nkumbuchile imwaliji paŵammilasile Akunnungu. Kwa chipimo cha ŵandu nganimma ŵajinji ŵaŵakwete lunda, iyoyo nganimma ŵajinji ŵamwaliji ni machili, nombe nganimma ŵajinji umwamanyiche nnope.
27 But God hath chosen the foolish thinges of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weake thinges of the worlde, to confound the mightie things,
Nambo Akunnungu ŵaisagwile indu yaikuwoneka ili yakuloŵela pachilambo kuti ŵataje soni ŵandu ŵaali ni lunda, sooni Akunnungu aisagwile yakulepetala ya pachilambo kuti ŵataje soni ŵandu ŵaali ni machili.
28 And vile things of the worlde and thinges which are despised, hath God chosen, and thinges which are not, to bring to nought thinges that are,
Akunnungu aisagwile indu ya pachilambo yakunyeluswa ni kukanikwa ni yaikuwoneka yangalimate, kuti aijonanje aila yaikuwoneka ni ŵandu kuti yanamate mu nganisyo sya ŵandu.
29 That no flesh shoulde reioyce in his presence.
Akunnungu ŵatesile yeleyo kuti akapagwa mundu ŵakulilapa paujo pao.
30 But ye are of him in Christ Iesus, who of God is made vnto vs wisedome and righteousnesse, and sanctification, and redemption,
Akunnungu nsyene anlumbikenye mwanya ni Che Yesu Kilisito. Nombe Akunnungu antesile Kilisito aŵe lunda lwetu. Tukuŵalanjikwa ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu, ni kuŵa ŵandu ŵatuŵichikwe pa jika kwa ligongo lya Akunnungu ni ŵawombweche.
31 That, according as it is written, Hee that reioyceth, let him reioyce in the Lord.
