1 Chronicles 4
1 The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
Die Söhne Judas: Perez, Chezron, Karmi, Chur und Schobal.
2 And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.
Und Reaja, der Sohn Schobals, zeugte Jachat, und Jachat zeugte Achumai und Lehad. Das sind die Geschlechter der Zoratiter.
3 And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.
Und diese sind von Abi-Etam: Jesreel, Jischma, Jidbasch, und der Name ihrer Schwester Hazlelponi;
4 And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.
sodann Penuel, der Vater Gedors, und Eser, der Vater Chuschas. Das sind die Söhne Churs, des Erstgeborenen Ephratas, des Vaters von Bethlehem.
5 But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.
Und Aschchur, der Vater von Tekoa, hatte zwei Frauen, Chela und Naara.
6 And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni and Haashtari: these were the sonnes of Naarah.
Und Naara gebar ihm Achussam und Chepher und Temni und Achasthari. Das sind die Söhne der Naara.
7 And the sonnes of Heleah were Zereth, Iezohar and Ethnan.
Und die Söhne der Chela: Zeret, Jizchar und Etnan.
8 Also Coz begate Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the sonne of Harum.
Und Koz zeugte Anub und Zobeba und die Geschlechter Acharchels, des Sohnes Harums.
9 But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.
Und Jabez ward geehrter als seine Brüder; und seine Mutter gab ihm den Namen Jabez, denn sie sprach: Ich habe ihn mit Schmerzen geboren.
10 And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.
Und Jabez rief zum Gott Israels und sprach: O daß du mich segnen und meine Grenze erweitern wolltest und deine Hand mit mir wäre und du mich vom Übel befreitest, daß ich keinen Schmerz mehr hätte! Und Gott ließ kommen, was er bat.
11 And Chelub the brother of Shuah begate Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
Und Kelub, der Bruder Schuhas, zeugte Mechir; der ist der Vater Eschtons.
12 And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.
Und Eschton zeugte das Haus Rapha und Paseach und Techinna, den Vater der Stadt Nachasch. Das sind die Männer von Recha.
13 And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.
Und die Söhne des Kenas: Otniel und Seraja. Und die Söhne Otniels: Chatat.
14 And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.
Menotai zeugte Ophra, und Seraja zeugte Joab, den Vater des Tales der Schmiede, denn sie waren Schmiede.
15 And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.
Und die Söhne Kalebs, des Sohnes Jephunnes: Iru, Ela und Naam. Die Söhne Elas: Kenas.
16 And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
Und die Söhne Jehallelels: Siph und Sipha, Tirja und Asarel.
17 And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
Und die Söhne Esras: Jeter und Mered und Epher und Jalon. Und das sind die Söhne der Bitja, der Tochter des Pharao, welche Mered nahm: sie empfing und gebar Mirjam und Schammai und Jischbach, den Vater von Eschtemoa.
18 Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.
Und sein Weib, die Jüdin, gebar Jered, den Vater Gedors, und Heber, den Vater Sochos, und Jekutiel, den Vater Sanoachs.
19 And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
Und die Söhne des Weibes Hodijas, der Schwester Nachams: der Vater von Kehila, der Garmite, und Eschtemoa, der Maachatiter.
20 And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
Und die Söhne Schimons: Amnon und Rinna, Benchanan und Tilon. Und die Söhne Jischis: Sochet und Bensochet.
21 The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.
Die Söhne Schelas, des Sohnes Judas, sind: Er, der Vater Lechas, und Lada, der Vater Mareschas, und die Geschlechter des Hauses der Baumwollweber vom Hause Aschbeas
22 And Iokim and the men of Chozeba and Ioash, and Saraph, which had the dominion in Moab, and Iashubi Lehem. These also are auncient things.
und Jokim und die Männer von Koseba und Joasch und Saraph, die über Moab herrschten und Lechem bewohnten.
23 These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.
Und die alte Geschichte erzählt: Sie waren Töpfer und bewohnten Netaim und Gedera; bei dem König, in seinem Dienste, wohnten sie daselbst.
24 The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,
Die Söhne Simeons: Nemuel und Jamin, Jarib, Serach, Saul;
25 Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.
dessen Sohn war Schallum, dessen Sohn Mibsam, dessen Sohn Mischma.
26 And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.
Und die Söhne Mischmas: sein Sohn Chamuel, dessen Sohn Sakkur, dessen Sohn Simei.
27 And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.
Und Simei hatte sechzehn Söhne und sechs Töchter, und seine Brüder hatten nicht viele Söhne, und keines ihrer Geschlechter mehrte sich wie die Söhne Judas.
28 And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,
Und sie wohnten in Beerseba, Molada und Chazar-Schual,
29 And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
in Bilha, Ezem und Tolad,
30 And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
in Betuel, Chorma und Ziklag,
31 And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.
in Beth-Markabot, Chazar-Susim, Beth-Biri und Schaaraim. Das waren ihre Städte bis zur Regierung Davids und ihre Dörfer:
32 And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.
Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Tochen und Aschan, fünf Städte
33 And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,
und alle ihre Dörfer, welche rings um diese Städte waren bis nach Baal. Das waren ihre Wohnplätze, und sie hatten ihre Geschlechtsregister.
34 And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
Und Meschobab und Jamlek und Joscha, der Sohn Amazjas,
35 And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
und Joel und Jehu, der Sohn Joschibjas, des Sohnes Serajas, des Sohnes Asiels,
36 And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
und Eljoenai und Jaakoba und Jeschochaja und Asaja und Adiel und Jeschimiel und Benaja,
37 And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.
und Sisa, der Sohn Schiphis, des Sohnes Allons, des Sohnes Jedajas, des Sohnes Schimris, des Sohnes Schemajas:
38 These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
diese mit Namen Angeführten waren Fürsten in ihren Geschlechtern, und ihre Stammhäuser breiteten sich stark aus.
39 And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
Und sie zogen bis nach Gedor hin, bis an die Morgenseite des Tales, um Weide für ihre Schafe zu suchen.
40 And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
Und sie fanden fette und gute Weide und ein Land, weit nach beiden Seiten, ruhig und still; denn die vorzeiten daselbst wohnten, waren von Ham.
41 And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.
Und so kamen die mit Namen Aufgeschriebenen zur Zeit Hiskias, des Königs von Juda, und vernichteten deren Zelte und die Meuniter, welche daselbst gefunden wurden, und vollstreckten den Bann an ihnen bis auf diesen Tag und wohnten an ihrer Statt.
42 And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,
Und ein Teil von ihnen, den Kindern Simeons, 500 Mann, zogen nach dem Gebirge Seir, an ihrer Spitze Pelatja und Nearja und Rephaja und Ussiel, die Söhne Jischis.
43 And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
Und sie schlugen den Rest der Entronnenen von Amalek und wohnten daselbst bis auf diesen Tag.
