1 Chronicles 24
1 These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Men Aarons barnas ordning var denna: Aarons barn voro Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar och Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.
Men Nadab och Abihu blefvo döde inför deras fader, och hade inga barn; och Eleazar och Ithamar vordo Prester.
3 And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
Och David skickade dem alltså, Zadok af Eleazars barn, och Ahimelech af Ithamars barn, efter deras tal och ämbete.
4 And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.
Och vordo Eleazars barn flere funne till yppersta starka män än Ithamars barn. Och han skickade dem alltså; nämliga sexton utaf Eleazars barn, till öfverstar ibland deras fäders hus; och åtta af Ithamars barn ibland deras fäders hus.
5 Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.
Och han skifte dem efter lott, derföre, att både af Eleazars och Ithamars barn voro öfverstar i helgedomenom, och öfverstar för Gud.
6 And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.
Och skrifvaren Semaja, Nethaneels son, utaf Leviterna, beskref dem för Konungenom, och för öfverstarna, och för Zadok Prestenom, och för Ahimelech, AbJathars son, och för öfversta fäderna ibland Presterna och Leviterna; nämliga ett fadershus för Eleazar, och det andra för Ithamar.
7 And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,
Och förste lotten föll uppå Jojarib, den andre uppå Jedaja;
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
Den tredje på Harim, den fjerde på Seorim;
9 The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,
Den femte på Malchija, den sjette på Mijamin;
10 The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
Den sjunde på Hakkoz, den åttonde på Abia;
11 The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
Den nionde på Jesua, den tionde på Sechania;
12 The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
Den ellofte på EljaSib, den tolfte på Jakim;
13 The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
Den trettonde på Huppa, den fjortonde på Jesebeab;
14 The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
Den femtonde på Bilga, den sextonde på Immer;
15 The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
Den sjuttonde på Hesir, den adertonde på Happizez;
16 The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
Den nittonde på Petahja, den tjugonde på Jeheskel;
17 The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
Den förste och tjugonde på Jachin, den andre och tjugonde på Gamul;
18 The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
Den tredje och tjugonde på Delaja, den fjerde och tjugonde på Mahasia.
19 These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Detta är ordningen efter deras ämbeten, till att gå i Herrans hus efter deras sätt, under deras fader Aaron, såsom Herren Israels Gud dem budit hade.
20 And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
Men utaf de andra Levi barn, af Amrams barn var Subael. Af Subaels barn var Jehdeja.
21 Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
Af Rehabia barn var den förste Jissija.
22 Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
Men af de Jizeariter var Selomoth. Af Selomoths barn var Jahath.
23 And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
( Hebrons ) barn voro: Jeria den förste, Amaria den andre, Jahasiel den tredje, Jekameam den fjerde.
24 The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
Ussiels barn voro: Micha. Utaf Micha barn var Samir.
25 The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
Micha broder var Jissija. Utaf Jissija barn var Zacharia.
26 The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
Merari barn voro: Maheli och Musi; hans son var Jaasia.
27 The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
Merari barn, af Jaasia, hans son, voro: Soham, Saccur och Ibri.
28 Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
Men Maheli hade Eleazar, och Eleazar hade inga söner.
29 Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
Af Kis: Kis barn voro: Jerahmeel.
30 And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
Musi barn voro: Maheli, Eder och Jerimoth. Detta äro de Leviters barn, i deras faders hus.
31 And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
Och man kastade också för dem lott, bredovid deras bröder Aarons barn, inför Konung David och Zadok, och Ahimelech, och inför de öfversta fäderna af Prestomen och Levitomen, dem minsta brodrenom så väl som dem öfversta af fäderna.
