< Psalms 30 >

1 A psalm of David. A psalm for the dedication of the Temple. I want to tell everyone how good you are, Lord, for you saved me, and you didn't let my enemies triumph over me.
Salimo la Davide. Nyimbo yoyimba popereka Nyumba ya Mulungu. Ndidzakukwezani Yehova, chifukwa mwanditulutsa kwakuya, ndipo simunalole kuti adani anga akondwere pa ine.
2 Lord, my God, I called out to you for help, and you have healed me.
Inu Yehova Mulungu wanga ndinapempha kwa Inu thandizo ndipo Inu munandichiritsa.
3 Lord, you rescued me from the grave, you brought me back to life, saving me from going down into the pit of death. (Sheol h7585)
Inu Yehova, munanditulutsa ku manda, munandisunga kuti ndisatsalire mʼdzenje. (Sheol h7585)
4 You who trust the Lord, sing praises to him, and be thankful for his holy character!
Imbirani Yehova inu anthu ake okhulupirika; tamandani dzina lake loyera.
5 For his anger only lasts a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime. You may spend the night in tears, but happiness comes with the morning.
Pakuti mkwiyo wake umakhala kwa kanthawi koma kukoma mtima kwake ndi kwa moyo wonse; utha kuchezera kulira usiku wonse, koma chimwemwe chimabwera mmawa.
6 When things were going well, I said, “Nothing will ever shake me!”
Pamene ndinaona kuti ndili otetezedwa ndinati, “Sindidzagwedezekanso.”
7 Lord, when you showed me your favor I stood as strong as a mountain; when you turned away from me I was terrified.
Inu Yehova, pamene munandikomera mtima, munachititsa phiri langa kuyima chilili; koma pamene munabisa nkhope yanu, ndinataya mtima.
8 I called out to you for help, Lord. I asked the Lord for grace, saying,
Kwa Inu Yehova ndinayitana; kwa Ambuye ndinapempha chifundo;
9 What would you gain if I die, if I go down into the pit of death? Would my dust praise you? Would it tell of your trustworthiness?
“Kodi pali phindu lanji powonongeka kwanga ngati nditsikira ku dzenje? Kodi fumbi lidzakutamandani Inu? Kodi lidzalengeza za kukhulupirika kwanu?
10 Please listen to me, Lord, and be gracious to me! Lord, you are the one who helps me.
Imvani Yehova ndipo mundichitire chifundo; Yehova mukhale thandizo langa.”
11 You have turned my weeping into dancing. You have taken off my clothes of sackcloth and dressed me in happiness,
Inu munasandutsa kulira kwanga kukhala kuvina; munachotsa chiguduli changa ndi kundiveka ndi chimwemwe,
12 so I can sing praises to you and not keep quiet. Lord my God, I will thank you forever!
kuti mtima wanga uthe kuyimbira Inu usakhale chete. Yehova Mulungu wanga, ndidzapereka kwa Inu mayamiko kwamuyaya.
