Mark 1
1 A beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Son of God!
Le début de la Bonne Nouvelle de Jésus-Christ, le Fils de Dieu.
2 As it is written in the prophets —“Take note, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.”
Comme il est écrit dans les prophètes, « Voici que j'envoie mon messager devant ta face, qui préparera ton chemin devant toi:
3 “A voice calling out: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord, make His paths straight!’”—
la voix de celui qui crie dans le désert, Préparez le chemin du Seigneur! Rends ses chemins droits! »
4 John started baptizing in the wilderness and proclaiming a baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.
Jean vint baptiser dans le désert et prêcher le baptême de repentance pour le pardon des péchés.
5 Well, the whole Judean countryside and the Jerusalemites started going out to him, and were all being baptized by him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.
Tout le pays de Judée et tous ceux de Jérusalem se rendirent auprès de lui. Ils se faisaient baptiser par lui dans le Jourdain, en confessant leurs péchés.
6 Now John was clothed with camel's hair and with a leather belt around his waist; and he was eating locusts and wild honey.
Jean était vêtu de poils de chameau et portait une ceinture de cuir à la taille. Il se nourrissait de sauterelles et de miel sauvage.
7 And he was proclaiming: “After me my Superior is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.
Il prêchait, disant: « Après moi vient celui qui est plus puissant que moi, et dont je ne suis pas digne de délier la lanière de ses sandales.
8 I indeed baptized you with water, but He will baptize you with Holy Spirit.”
Je vous ai baptisés dans l'eau, mais lui vous baptisera dans l'Esprit Saint. »
9 Well it happened in those days that Jesus came from Natsareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan.
En ce temps-là, Jésus vint de Nazareth, en Galilée, et fut baptisé par Jean dans le Jourdain.
10 And immediately upon coming up from the water He saw the heavens being torn open and the Spirit, like a dove, descending upon Him.
Aussitôt remonté de l'eau, il vit les cieux se fendre et l'Esprit descendre sur lui comme une colombe.
11 And a Voice came from the heavens: “You are my Son, the beloved, in whom I am well pleased!”
Une voix sortit du ciel: « Tu es mon Fils bien-aimé, en qui j'ai mis toute mon affection. »
12 Immediately the Spirit impelled Him into the wilderness.
Aussitôt, l'Esprit le poussa dans le désert.
13 And He was there in the wilderness forty days being tested by Satan, and was with the wild animals; and the angels were ministering to Him.
Il resta là, dans le désert, quarante jours, tenté par Satan. Il était avec les animaux sauvages, et les anges le servaient.
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom of God,
Après que Jean eut été mis en détention, Jésus vint en Galilée, prêchant la Bonne Nouvelle du Royaume de Dieu,
15 and saying: “The time has been fulfilled and the Kingdom of God has approached. Repent and believe in the Gospel.”
et disant: « Le temps est accompli, et le Royaume de Dieu est tout proche. Repentez-vous, et croyez à la Bonne Nouvelle. »
16 Then, as He was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother, of Simon, casting a circular net onto the water, for they were fishermen.
En passant le long de la mer de Galilée, il vit Simon et André, le frère de Simon, qui jetaient un filet dans la mer, car ils étaient pêcheurs.
17 So Jesus said to them: “Come, follow me and I will turn you into fishers of men.”
Jésus leur dit: « Venez après moi, et je ferai de vous des pêcheurs d'hommes. »
18 At once they left their nets and followed Him.
Aussitôt, ils laissèrent leurs filets et le suivirent.
19 And going on from there a little ways He saw James, son of Zebedee, and his brother John; they were in their boat mending their nets.
S'éloignant un peu de là, il vit Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, son frère, qui étaient aussi dans la barque pour réparer les filets.
20 Right away He called them, and leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men they followed Him.
Aussitôt, il les appela, et ils laissèrent leur père Zébédée dans la barque avec les mercenaires, et le suivirent.
21 Then they went into Capernaum. The very next Sabbath He entered the synagogue and began to teach.
Ils se rendirent à Capernaüm, et aussitôt, le jour du sabbat, il entra dans la synagogue et enseigna.
22 And they kept on being amazed at His teaching, because He was teaching them as one having authority, and not like the scribes.
Ils étaient étonnés de son enseignement, car il les enseignait comme ayant autorité, et non comme les scribes.
23 Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
Aussitôt, il se trouva dans leur synagogue un homme possédé d'un esprit impur, qui poussa un cri
24 saying: “Hey, what do you want with us, Jesus Natsarene?! Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
en disant: « Ah! qu'avons-nous à faire avec toi, Jésus, Nazaréen? Es-tu venu pour nous détruire? Je sais qui tu es: le Saint de Dieu! »
25 So Jesus rebuked him saying: “Shut up and get out of him!”
Jésus le réprimanda en disant: « Tais-toi, et sors de lui! »
26 The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.
L'esprit impur, qui le convulsait et criait d'une voix forte, sortit de lui.
27 And all were astounded, so that they questioned among themselves, saying: “What is this? What can this new doctrine be? Because with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”
Tous étaient stupéfaits, et ils s'interrogeaient entre eux, disant: Qu'est-ce que cela? Une nouvelle doctrine? Car il commande avec autorité même aux esprits impurs, et ils lui obéissent! »
28 So His fame spread directly into the whole surrounding area of Galilee.
La nouvelle de sa venue se répandit aussitôt partout dans toute la région de la Galilée et ses environs.
29 Immediately upon exiting the synagogue they went into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
Aussitôt sortis de la synagogue, ils entrèrent dans la maison de Simon et d'André, avec Jacques et Jean.
30 Simon's mother-in-law was lying down with a fever, so without delay they told Him about her.
Or, la mère de la femme de Simon était malade de la fièvre, et aussitôt on lui en parla.
31 So He went and grasping her hand lifted her up; immediately the fever left her and she began to serve them.
Il vint, la prit par la main et la fit lever. La fièvre la quitta aussitôt, et elle les servit.
32 That evening, when the sun had set, they started bringing to Him all who were sick and the demonized.
Le soir, au coucher du soleil, on lui amena tous les malades et ceux qui étaient possédés par des démons.
33 So much so that the whole town was gathered at the door,
Toute la ville était rassemblée à la porte.
34 and He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons; and He did not allow the demons to speak, because they knew He was Messiah.
Il guérit beaucoup de malades atteints de diverses maladies et chassa beaucoup de démons. Il ne permettait pas aux démons de parler, car ils le connaissaient.
35 Now very early, still night, He got up, slipped out, and went off to a solitary place, where He was praying.
De bon matin, comme il faisait encore nuit, il se leva et sortit, et s'en alla dans un lieu désert, où il pria.
36 Simon and those with him hunted for Him,
Simon et ceux qui étaient avec lui le cherchaient.
37 and upon finding Him they said to Him, “Everyone is looking for you.”
Ils le trouvèrent et lui dirent: « Tout le monde te cherche. »
38 But He said to them: “Let us go to the neighboring towns, so I can preach there also; that is why I have come.”
Il leur dit: « Allons ailleurs, dans les villes voisines, afin que j'y prêche aussi, car c'est pour cela que je suis sorti. »
39 He was constantly preaching in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and also casting out demons.
Il allait dans leurs synagogues, dans toute la Galilée, prêchant et chassant les démons.
40 A leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling before Him and saying to Him, “If you want to, you are able to cleanse me.”
Un lépreux s'approcha de lui, le supplia, se mit à genoux devant lui et lui dit: « Si tu le veux, tu peux me rendre pur. »
41 So being moved with compassion, Jesus stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him: “I want to; be cleansed!”
Ému de compassion, il étendit sa main, le toucha et lui dit: « Je le veux. Sois purifié. »
42 And when He said this, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.
Dès qu'il eut dit cela, la lèpre se retira aussitôt de lui et il fut rendu pur.
43 And He sent him away at once, sternly warning him,
Il lui donna un avertissement strict et le renvoya aussitôt,
44 by saying: “See that you say nothing to anyone; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
en lui disant: « Veille à ne rien dire à personne, mais va te montrer au prêtre et offre pour ta purification les choses que Moïse a prescrites, en témoignage pour eux. »
45 However he went out and began to proclaim it freely, spreading the news, so that He was no longer able to enter a town openly, but remained outside in deserted places; yet they kept coming to Him from all over.
Mais il sortit, et se mit à faire beaucoup de publicité, et à répandre l'affaire, de sorte que Jésus ne pouvait plus entrer ouvertement dans une ville, mais se tenait dehors, dans des lieux déserts. Les gens venaient à lui de partout.
