< John 10 >
1 “Most assuredly I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
MELEL, melel I indai ong komail, me so weid nan wanim, pedelong ong nan deun sip, a dauda wasa toror, iei men lipirap o men kuli.
2 But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep.
A me kin pedelong pan wanim, iei silepan sip o.
3 To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Iei me silepan wanim o kin ritingada mo a; a sip akan kin rong ngil a; i me ekereki na sip akan ad arail, kare irail wei.
4 And whenever he takes out his own sheep he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
A kin kapedoi na sip akan, ap tiong mo’rail, o sip akan kin idedauen i, pwe re anlar ngil a.
5 But they will not follow a stranger; rather they will run away from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.”
A re sota pan idauen, me re san, pwe re pan tang sang, pwe re san ngil arail.
6 Jesus gave them this illustration, but they did not understand what He was telling them.
Iesus kotin masani ong irail karaseras pot et, a irail sota weweki mepukat, me a kotin masani ong irail.
7 Then Jesus addressed them again: “Most assuredly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
Iesus pil kotin masani ong irail: Melel, melel I indai ong komail: Ngai wanim en sip akan.
8 All who ever came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them.
Karos, me pwarador mo i, iei lipirap o men kuli, o sip akan sota kin rong irail.
9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Ngai wanim o, a meamen pedelong re i, pan kamaurela o diar manga purepure.
10 The thief comes only in order to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come so that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
Lipirap kin kodon pirapela, o kamela, o kaokaoe, a ngai kodo, pwe irail en ale maur, kakairida kokolata.
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life on behalf of the sheep.
Ngai silepa mau; a silepa mau kin tonmeteki ong na sip akan maur i.
12 But the hired man, not being the shepherd and not owning the sheep, sees the wolf coming and abandons the sheep, and runs away; and the wolf snatches the sheep and scatters them.
A me kin pwaipwai o me sota udan silepa, o me kaidin udan na sip oko, iei me ngingar kidi en wel kokodo, ap kasela sip oko, tangdaui, a kidi en wel saikidi sip oko, kamueit ir pasang.
13 Now the hired man runs away because he is a hired man and it does not matter to him about the sheep.
Me pwaipwai o kin tangdaui, aki a pwaipwai, o sota insenoki sip oko.
14 “I am the good shepherd, and I know my own sheep, and I am known by them.
Ngai silepa mau, o I asa nai kan, o nai kan pil asa ia.
15 Just as the Father knows me, I also know the Father, and I lay down my life on behalf of the sheep.
Duen Sam o asa ia, iduen I asa Sam, o I tonmeteki ong sip akan maur i.
16 I also have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice; and there will be one flock, one shepherd.
A pil akai nai sip, me so kisan nan kel wet, mepuko I pil pan wado, o re pan rong ngil ai, o a pan pwin taieu o silepa me ta men,
17 “Because of this the Father loves me, in that I lay down my life so that I may take it up again.
Iei me Sam pok ong ia, pwe I kidi maur i, pwe I en pur ong ale.
18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This command I have received from my Father.”
Sota me ki sang ia, pwe pein ngai kidi. I manaman ong kidi maur i, I pil manaman ong kapure dong ia. Kusoned pot et I aleer sang ren Sam ai.
19 Therefore there was another division among the Jews because of these words.
Iei me Sus oko ap pil liak toror pasang pweki masan pukat.
20 Many of them were saying: “He has a demon and is raving mad. Why do you listen to him?”
Me toto re’rail indada: A tanwar en tewil o iakalar. Menda komail rong i?
21 Others were saying: “These are not the sayings of someone who is demonized. A demon cannot open blind people's eyes, can it?”
Akai me indada: Kaidik padak en tanwar en tewil pukat, da, tewil pan kak kapad pasang mas en me maskun amen?
22 Now it was the Feast of Dedication in Jerusalem; and it was winter.
A ran en isimas en im en kaudok wiaui nan Ierusalem, i ansaun kapau.
23 And Jesus was walking about in the temple, in Solomon's porch.
A Iesus kotikot sili nan im en kaudok, nan palang en Salomo.
24 Then the Jews surrounded Him and said to Him: “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.”
Sus oko kapili pena i indang i: Arai da komui pan okioki sang kit? Ma komui Kristus, en kadede ong kit sansal!
25 Jesus answered them: “I did tell you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name—these testify concerning me.
Iesus kotin masani ong irail: I indai ong komail er, a komail sota poson dodok kan, me I wiadar ni mar en Sam ai, iei me kin kadede ia.
26 But you do not believe because you are not among my sheep, just like I told you.
A komail sota poson, pwe komail kaidik kisan nai sip, duen me I indai ong komail er.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
Nai sip oko kin rong ngil ai, a I asa irail a re kin idauen ia.
28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never ever be wasted; and no one will snatch them out of my hand. (aiōn , aiōnios )
A I ki ong irail maur soutuk, a re sota pan salongala kokolata, o sota, me pan ki sang irail nan pa i. (aiōn , aiōnios )
29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch out of my Father's hand.
Sam ai, me ki ong ia irail, me lapa sang meakaros, o sota me pan kak ki sang irail ni lim en Sam ai.
30 I and the Father are one.”
Ngai o Sam me ta men.
31 Therefore the Jews picked up stones again to stone Him.
Sus oko ap pil rik takai, pwen kasuk i.
32 Jesus answered them: “Many good works I have shown you from my Father. For which one of them are you stoning me?”
Iesus kotin sapeng irail: Dodok mau toto, me I kasale ong komail er sang ren Sam o, a menia dodok ren mepukat, me komail kate kin ia?
33 The Jews answered Him saying, “It is not for a good work that we are stoning you, but for blasphemy; precisely because you, being a man, make yourself God!”
Sus oko ap sapeng i: Kaidik dodok mau eu, me se kate kin komui, a pweki lalaue, o pweki aramas amen koe, me wia kin pein uk Kot,
34 Jesus answered them: “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, you are gods’?
Iesus kotin sapeng irail: A so intingidier nan omail kapung: I indada, komail kot akan,
35 If He called them ‘gods’ to whom the Word of God came—and the Scripture cannot be broken—
Ari, ma a kin wia kin ir kot, me aleer masan en Kot, pwe kisin likau kan sota kak sapungala;
36 do you say ‘You are blaspheming’ to the One the Father sanctified and sent into the world because I said, ‘I am God's Son’?
A komail kin inda kin i, me Sam a kasarauialar, o kadara dong sappa, koe lalaue, pweki ai indada: Sapwilim en Kot ngai?
37 If I am not doing the works of my Father, do not believe me.
Ma I so wiawia dodok kan en Sam ai, komail der kamelele ia.
38 But if I am doing them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in Him.”
A ma I kin wiawia, komail en posonki dodok kan, ma komail sota poson ia, pwe komail en asa o poson, me Sam ai podidi ong ia, o ngai podidi ong i.
39 So they tried again to seize Him, but He escaped from their hand.
Irail ap pil song saikidi i. I ari piti sang ni pa’rail.
40 He went away again across the Jordan, to the place where John was baptizing at first; and He remained there.
O kotin purelang palilan Iordan, wasa Ioanes kin wia paptais ia mas; I ari kotikot wasa o.
41 And many came to Him and said, “Though John did not perform any sign, everything John said about this man was true.”
A me toto pokon dong i indada: Ioanes sota wiadar kilel eu; a melel eta karos, me Ioanes masanieki men et.
42 And many of the people there believed into Him.
A me toto posonla i wasa o.
