Zechariah 12
1 The burden of the word of Jehovah concerning Israel. [Thus] saith Jehovah, who stretcheth out the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:
Carga. Palabra de Yahvé sobre Israel: Así dice Yahvé, el que extendió los cielos y echó los fundamentos de la tierra; y formó el espíritu que tiene dentro de sí el hombre.
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of bewilderment unto all the peoples round about, and also against Judah shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.
“He aquí que voy a hacer de Jerusalén una copa de vértigo para todos los pueblos a la redonda; y también para Judá (vendrá la angustia) cuando estrechen a Jerusalén.
3 And it shall come to pass in that day [that] I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone unto all peoples: all that burden themselves with it shall certainly be wounded, and all the nations of the earth shall be assembled together against it.
En aquel día haré que Jerusalén sea una piedra pesada para todos los pueblos. Quienes probaren alzarla se harán cortaduras, y se congregarán contra ella todos los pueblos de la tierra.
4 In that day, saith Jehovah, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness; but I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the peoples with blindness.
En aquel día, dice Yahvé, heriré de terror a todo caballo, y de locura a su jinete; mas tendré abiertos mis ojos sobre la casa de Judá. A todos los caballos de los pueblos los heriré de ceguera.
5 And the leaders of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength through Jehovah of hosts their God.
Dirán los caudillos de Judá en su corazón: “Mi fortaleza son los moradores de Jerusalén, con Yahvé de los ejércitos, su Dios.”
6 In that day will I make the leaders of Judah like a hearth of fire among wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the peoples round about, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem shall dwell again in her own place, in Jerusalem.
En aquel día pondré los caudillos de Judá como brasero encendido en medio de la leña, y como antorcha de fuego en medio de las gavillas; devorarán a derecha y a izquierda a todos los pueblos circunvecinos, y Jerusalén será de nuevo habitada en su (antiguo) sitio, en Jerusalén.
7 And Jehovah shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem be not magnified over Judah.
Yahvé salvará primero las tiendas de Judá, para que la gloria de la casa de David, y la gloria de los habitantes de Jerusalén no se enaltezca contra Judá.
8 In that day will Jehovah defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that stumbleth among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David as God, as the Angel of Jehovah before them.
En aquel día Yahvé será como un escudo para los habitantes de Jerusalén; el más flaco de entre ellos será en aquel día como David, y la casa de David, como Dios, como el Ángel de Yahvé delante de ellos.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
En aquel día voy a destruir todos los pueblos que vengan contra Jerusalén.
10 And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace and of supplications; and they shall look on me whom they pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for an only [son], and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for [his] firstborn.
Y derramaré sobre la casa de David, y sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén, espíritu de gracia y de oración y pondrán sus ojos en Mí, a quien traspasaron. Lo llorarán, como se llora al unigénito, y harán duelo amargo por él, como suele hacerse por el primogénito.
11 In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadad-rimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
En aquel día habrá gran llanto en Jerusalén, como el llanto de Hadad-Remmón en el valle de Megiddó.
12 And the land shall mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
Se lamentará (todo) el país, familia por familia, la familia de la casa de David aparte, sus mujeres aparte; familia de la casa de Natán aparte, y sus mujeres aparte;
13 the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;
la familia de la casa de Levi aparte, sus mujeres aparte; familia de Semeí aparte, y sus mujeres aparte;
14 all the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
todas las demás familias, cada familia aparte, y sus mujeres aparte.
