Psalms 122

1 A Song of degrees. Of David. I rejoiced when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.

১দায়ূদের, আরোহণ গীত। আমি আনন্দিত হলাম পেলাম যখন তারা আমাকে বলে, চল আমরা সদাপ্রভুুর গৃহে যাই।

2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.

২আমারদের পা তোমার দরজার ভেতরে দাঁড়িয়ে, যিরুশালেম।

3 Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,

৩যিরুশালেম একটা শহরের মত তৈরী হয়েছিল যা একত্র সংযুক্ত শহরের মত।

4 Whither the tribes go up, the tribes of Jah, a testimony to Israel, to give thanks unto the name of Jehovah.

৪জাতিরা সেই জায়গায় গেল, সদাপ্রভুুর বংশ, ইস্রায়েলের যেমন বিধি সদাপ্রভুুর ধন্যবাদ দিতে গেল।

5 For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

৫সেখানে নেতারা সিংহাসনে বসল দায়ূদ কুলের বিচারের জন্য।

6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

৬প্রার্থনা কর যিরুশালেমের শান্তির জন্য, যারা তোমাকে প্রেম করে তাদের উন্নতির জন্য।

7 Peace be within thy bulwarks, prosperity within thy palaces.

৭তোমার প্রাচীরের মধ্যে শান্তি হোক, তোমার অট্টালিকার মধ্যে উন্নতি হোক।

8 For my brethren and companions' sakes I will say, Peace be within thee!

৮আমার ভাইদের এবং সঙ্গীদের জন্য আমি এখন বলবো, “তোমার মধ্যে শান্তি হোক।”

9 Because of the house of Jehovah our God I will seek thy good.

৯আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুুর গৃহে আমি তোমার মঙ্গলের জন্য প্রার্থনা করব।
