Numbers 12
1 And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had taken; for he had taken a Cushite as wife.
Y habló María y Aarón contra Moisés por causa de la mujer Etiopisa que había tomado; porque él había tomado mujer Etiopisa.
2 And they said, Has Jehovah indeed spoken only to Moses? has he not spoken also to us? And Jehovah heard it.
Y dijeron: ¿Solamente por Moisés ha hablado Jehová? ¿No ha hablado también por nosotros? Y oyó Jehová.
3 But the man Moses was very meek, above all men that were upon the face of the earth.
Y aquel varón Moisés era muy manso, más que todos los hombres, que eran sobre la tierra.
4 Then Jehovah spoke suddenly to Moses, and to Aaron, and to Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tent of meeting. And they went out, they three.
Y luego dijo Jehová a Moisés y a Aarón, y a María: Salíd vosotros tres al tabernáculo del testimonio. Y salieron ellos tres.
5 And Jehovah came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood at the entrance of the tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forth.
Entonces Jehová descendió en la columna de la nube, y púsose a la puerta del tabernáculo, y llamó a Aarón y a María, y salieron ellos ambos.
6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I Jehovah will make myself known to him in a vision, I will speak to him in a dream.
Y él les dijo: Oíd ahora mis palabras: Si tuviereis profeta de Jehová, yo le apareceré en visión, en sueños hablaré con él.
7 Not so my servant Moses: he is faithful in all my house.
Mi siervo Moisés no es así: en toda mi casa es fiel.
8 Mouth to mouth do I speak to him openly, and not in riddles; and the form of Jehovah doth he behold. Why then were ye not afraid to speak against my servant, against Moses?
Boca a boca hablaré con él, y de vista: y no por figuras o semejanza verá a Jehová: ¿por qué pues no hubisteis temor de hablar contra mi siervo Moisés?
9 And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against them, and he went away;
Entonces el furor de Jehová se encendió en ellos y se fue;
10 and the cloud departed from off the tent. And behold, Miriam was leprous as snow; and Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.
Y la nube se apartó del tabernáculo: y he aquí que María era leprosa como la nieve: Y miró Aarón a María, y he aquí que estaba leprosa.
11 Then Aaron said to Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not this sin upon us, wherein we have been foolish, and have sinned!
Y dijo Aarón a Moisés: Ay señor mío, no pongas ahora sobre nosotros pecado; porque locamente lo hemos hecho, y hemos pecado.
12 Let her not be as one stillborn, half of whose flesh is consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.
No sea ella ahora como el que sale muerto del vientre de su madre consumida la mitad de su carne.
13 And Moses cried to Jehovah, saying, O God, heal her, I beseech thee!
Entonces Moisés clamó a Jehová, diciendo: Ruégote, oh Dios, que la sanes ahora.
14 And Jehovah said to Moses, But had her father anyways spat in her face, should she not be shamed seven days? She shall be shut outside the camp seven days, and afterwards she shall be received in [again].
Jehová respondió a Moisés: ¿Pues si su padre escupiendo hubiera escupido en su cara, no se avergonzaría por siete días? sea echada fuera del real por siete días; y después se juntará.
15 And Miriam was shut outside the camp seven days; and the people did not journey till Miriam was received in [again].
Así María fue echada del real siete días, y el pueblo no pasó a delante hasta que María se juntó.
16 And afterwards the people journeyed from Hazeroth, and encamped in the wilderness of Paran.
Y después movió el pueblo de Jaserot, y asentaron el campo en el desierto de Farán.
