Ezekiel 6
1 And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los montes de Israel, y profetiza contra ellos;
3 and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord Jehovah: thus saith the Lord Jehovah to the mountains and to the hills, to the water-courses and to the valleys: Behold, I, [even] I, do bring a sword upon you, and will destroy your high places.
Y dirás: Montes de Israel, oíd palabra del Señor Jehová: Así dijo el Señor Jehová a los montes y a los collados, a los arroyos y a los valles: He aquí que yo, yo, hago venir sobre vosotros espada, y destruiré vuestros altos.
4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your sun-images shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain [men] before your idols;
Y vuestros altares serán asolados, y vuestras imágenes del sol serán quebradas; y haré que caigan vuestros muertos delante de vuestros ídolos.
5 and I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
Y pondré los cuerpos muertos de los hijos de Israel delante de sus ídolos, y vuestros huesos esparciré en derredor de vuestros altares.
6 In all your dwelling-places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your sun-images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
En todas vuestras habitaciones las ciudades serán desiertas, y los altos serán asolados, para que sean asolados y se hagan desiertos vuestros altares; y vuestros ídolos serán quebrados, y cesarán; y vuestras imágenes del sol serán destruidas, y serán deshechas vuestras obras.
7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Y muertos caerán en medio de vosotros, y sabréis que soy Jehová.
8 Yet will I leave a remnant, in that ye shall have some escaped from the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.
Y dejaré que haya de vosotros quien escape de la espada entre las naciones, cuando fuereis esparcidos por las tierras.
9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they have been carried captives, when I shall have broken their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols; and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed, in all their abominations.
Y acordarse han de mí, los que de vosotros escaparen entre las naciones, entre las cuales serán cautivos; porque yo me quebranté a causa de su corazón fornicario, que se apartó de mí, y a causa de sus ojos, que fornicaron tras sus ídolos; y serán confusos en su misma presencia, a causa de los males que hicieron en todas sus abominaciones.
10 And they shall know that I [am] Jehovah: I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, y que no en vano dije que les había de hacer este mal.
11 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Smite with thy hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the abominations of the iniquities of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Hiere con tu mano, y patea con tu pie, y dí: ¡Ay, por todas las abominaciones de los males de la casa de Israel! porque con espada, y con hambre, y con pestilencia caerán.
12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that is left, and is besieged, shall die by the famine: and I will accomplish my fury upon them.
El que estuviere lejos, morirá de pestilencia; y el que estuviere cerca, caerá con espada; y el que quedare, y el cercado, morirá de hambre; y cumpliré en ellos mi enojo.
13 And ye shall know that I [am] Jehovah, when their slain shall be among their idols, round about their altars, upon every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick terebinth, the places where they offered sweet savour to all their idols.
Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando sus muertos estarán en medio de sus ídolos, en derredor de sus altares, en todo collado alto, y en todas las cumbres de los montes, y debajo de todo árbol sombrío, y debajo de toda encina espesa, y en todo lugar donde dieron olor suave a todos sus ídolos.
14 And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness of Diblath, in all their dwellings; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Y extenderé mi mano sobre ellos, y tornaré la tierra asolada, y espantosa, desde el desierto de Deblata hasta todas sus habitaciones; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
