2 Samuel 3
1 And the war was long between the house of Saul and the house of David; but David became continually stronger, and the house of Saul became continually weaker.
১চৌলৰ বংশ আৰু দায়ূদৰ বংশৰ মাজত বহুকাল ধৰি যুদ্ধ হ’ল৷ দায়ুদ ক্ৰমে বলৱান হৈ উঠিল, কিন্তু চৌলৰ বংশ হ’লে ক্ৰমে শক্তিহীন হৈ আহিল।
2 And to David were sons born in Hebron: his firstborn was Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jizreelitess;
২হিব্ৰোণত দায়ূদৰ কেইবাজনো পুত্ৰ জন্মিল। তেওঁৰ বৰ পুত্ৰ অম্নোন, যিজ্ৰিয়েলীয়া অহীনোৱমৰ সন্তান;
3 and his second, Chileab, of Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite; and the third, Absalom the son of Maachah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur;
৩তেওঁৰ দ্বিতীয় পুত্ৰ কিলিয়াব, কৰ্মিলীয়া মৃত নাবলৰ ভাৰ্য্যা অবীগলৰ সন্তান৷ তৃতীয় অবচালোম, গচুৰৰ তল্ময় ৰজাৰ জীয়েক মাখাৰ সন্তান৷
4 and the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith; and the fifth, Shephatiah the son of Abital;
৪চতুৰ্থ পুত্ৰ অদোনীয়া, হগ্গীতৰ সন্তান৷ পঞ্চম পুত্ৰ চফটিয়া, অবীটলৰ সন্তান,
5 and the sixth, Ithream, of Eglah David's wife. These were born to David in Hebron.
৫আৰু ষষ্ঠ পুত্ৰ যিত্ৰিয়ম, দায়ূদৰ তিৰোতা ইগ্লাৰ সন্তান। এই সকলো হিব্ৰোণত দায়ূদৰ ঔৰসত জন্মিল।
6 And it came to pass while there was war between the house of Saul and the house of David, that Abner made himself strong for the house of Saul.
৬যি সময়ত দায়ূদৰ বংশ আৰু চৌলৰ বংশৰ মাজত যুদ্ধ চলি আছিল, সেই সময়ত অবনেৰে চৌলৰ বংশৰ পক্ষে নিজকে পৰাক্ৰমী দেখুৱাইছিল।
7 And Saul had a concubine whose name was Rizpah, the daughter of Aiah. And [Ishbosheth] said to Abner, Why hast thou gone in to my father's concubine?
৭কিন্তু অয়াৰ জীয়েক ৰিস্পা নামেৰে চৌলৰ এজনী উপপত্নী আছিল৷ তাইৰ বিষয়ে ঈচবোচতে অবনেৰক ক’লে, “তুমি মোৰ পিতৃৰ উপপত্নীত কিয় গমন কৰিলা?”
8 Then was Abner very wroth for the words of Ishbosheth, and said, Am I a dog's head, I who against Judah do shew kindness this day to the house of Saul thy father, to his brethren, and to his friends, and have not delivered thee into the hand of David, that thou reproachest me this day with the fault of this woman?
৮ঈচ্বোচতৰ এই কথাত অবনেৰে অতিশয় ক্ৰুদ্ধ হৈ ক’লে, “মই জানো যিহূদাৰ ফলীয়া কুকুৰৰ মূৰ? আজিলৈকে মই তোমাৰ পিতৃ চৌলৰ বংশলৈ আৰু তেওঁৰ ভাই-বন্ধুসকললৈ দয়া কৰি আছোঁ আৰু তোমাক দায়ূদৰ হাতত শোধাই দিয়া নাই৷ তথাপি তুমি আজি সেই তিৰোতাজনীৰ বিষয়ে মোক দোষী কৰিছা।
9 So do God to Abner, and more also, if, as Jehovah has sworn to David, I do not so to him;
৯দায়ূদৰ আগত যিহোৱাই খোৱা শপতৰ দৰে যদি মই তেওঁলৈ কাৰ্য নকৰোঁ, তেনেহলে অবনেৰক তাতকৈয়ো অধিক দণ্ড দিয়ক,
10 to translate the kingdom from the house of Saul, and to set up the throne of David over Israel and over Judah, from Dan even to Beer-sheba!
১০চৌলৰ পৰিয়ালৰ পৰা ৰাজ্য হস্তান্তৰ কৰিব আৰু দানৰ পৰা বেৰ-চেবা লৈ, সমগ্র ইস্ৰায়েল আৰু যিহূদাৰ ওপৰত সিংহাসন স্থাপন কৰিব।”
11 And he could not answer Abner a word again, because he feared him.
১১তাতে ঈচবোচতে অবনেৰক পুনৰ কোনো কথা ক’ব নোৱাৰিলে; কাৰণ অবনেৰলৈ তেওঁ ভয় কৰিলে।
12 And Abner sent messengers to David on his behalf, saying, Whose is the land? saying [also], Make thy covenant with me, and behold, my hand shall be with thee, to turn all Israel to thee.
১২পাছত অবনেৰে দায়ূদৰ ওচৰলৈ তেওঁৰ পক্ষ হৈ কবলৈ দূতবোৰ পঠিয়াই দি কোৱালে বোলে, “এই দেশ কাৰ? আপুনি যদি মোৰ লগত এটি চুক্তি কৰে, তেন্তে চাওঁক মই গোটেই ইস্ৰায়েলক আপোনাৰ ফাললৈ নিবলৈ আপোনাৰ সহায় হম।”
13 And he said, Well, I will make a covenant with thee; only I require one thing of thee, that is, Thou shalt not see my face, except thou first bring Michal Saul's daughter, when thou comest to see my face.
১৩দায়ূদে ক’লে, বাৰু, মই তোমাৰ লগত এটি চুক্তি কৰিম, কেৱল এটি বিষয় মই তোমাৰ পৰা বিচাৰো যে যেতিয়া তুমি মোক দেখা কৰিবলৈ আহিবা, তেতিয়া প্ৰথমে চৌলৰ জীয়েক মীখলক নানিলে, মোক দেখা নাপাবা।
14 And David sent messengers to Ishbosheth Saul's son, saying, Deliver me my wife Michal, whom I espoused to me for a hundred foreskins of the Philistines.
১৪তেতিয়া দায়ূদে চৌলৰ পুত্ৰ ঈচ্বোচতৰ ওচৰলৈ দূত পঠিয়াই কোৱালে, বোলে, “যাক মোলৈ বাগ্দান কৰা হ’ল, মোৰ সেই মীখলক মোক দিয়া, যাৰ বাবে মই পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ এশ লিঙ্গাগ্ৰ- চৰ্ম্ম দিলোঁ।”
15 And Ishbosheth sent, and took her from [her] husband, from Phaltiel the son of Laish.
১৫তাতে ঈচ্বোচতে মানুহ পঠিয়াই লয়িচৰ পুত্ৰ পল্টীয়েল নামেৰে মীখলৰ স্ৱামীৰ পৰা তাইক লৈ আহিল।
16 And her husband went with her along weeping behind her to Bahurim. Then said Abner to him, Go, return. And he returned.
১৬তেতিয়া তাইৰ স্ৱামীয়ে তাইৰ পাছে পাছে কান্দি কান্দি বহূৰীমলৈকে তাইৰ লগত আহিল। পাছত অবনেৰে তেওঁক ক’লে, “যোৱা, ঘৰলৈ উভটি যোৱা।” তাতে তেওঁ উভটি গ’ল।
17 Now Abner had communicated with the elders of Israel, saying, Ye sought for David aforetime to be king over you;
১৭পাছত অবনেৰে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ বৃদ্ধ লোকসকলৰ লগত কথোপকথন কৰি ক’লে, “দায়ূদক তোমালোকৰ ওপৰত ৰজা পাতিবলৈ তোমালোকে পূৰ্বতে চেষ্টা কৰিছিলা।
18 and now do [it], for Jehovah has spoken of David, saying, By my servant David will I save my people Israel out of the hand of the Philistines, and out of the hand of all their enemies.
১৮এতিয়া তাকে কৰাহঁক৷ কিয়নো যিহোৱাই দায়ূদৰ বিষয়ে কৈছিল, বোলে, ‘মই নিজ দাস দায়ূদৰ হতুৱাই মোৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েলক পলেষ্টীয়াসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো শত্ৰুৰ হাতৰ পৰাও উদ্ধাৰ কৰিম’।”
19 And Abner also spoke in the ears of Benjamin; and Abner went also to speak in the ears of David in Hebron all that seemed good to Israel, and that seemed good to the whole house of Benjamin.
১৯অবনেৰে বিন্যামীনৰ লোকসকলৰ লগত ব্যক্তিগতভাৱে কথা হ’ল৷ তাৰ পাছত ইস্ৰায়েল বংশ ও বিন্যামীনৰ গোটেই বংশই যি সম্পূর্ণ কৰিবলৈ ইচ্ছা কৰিছিল, সেই বিষয়ে অবনেৰে দায়ূদৰ আগত জনাবৰ বাবে হিব্ৰোণলৈ গ’ল।
20 So Abner came to David to Hebron, and twenty men with him. And David made Abner and the men that were with him a repast.
২০এইদৰে দায়ূদক দেখা কৰিবলৈ অবনেৰে তেওঁৰ বিশজন লোকক নিজৰ লগত লৈ হিব্ৰোণলৈ আহিল। তাতে দায়ূদে অবনেৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ লোকসকলৰ বাবে ভোজ পাতিলে।
21 And Abner said to David, I will arise and go, and will gather all Israel to my lord the king, that they may make a covenant with thee, and that thou mayest reign over all that thy heart desires. And David sent Abner away; and he went in peace.
২১অবনেৰে দায়ূদৰ ওচৰত বাখ্যা কৰি ক’লে, মই উঠি গৈ মোৰ প্ৰভু মহাৰাজৰ গুৰিলৈ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সকলোকে গোটাই আনোগৈ, যেন তেওঁলোকে আপোনাৰে সৈতে এটি চুক্তি কৰিব আৰু আপুনি আপোনাৰ মনৰ ইচ্ছাৰ দৰে যেন সকলোৰে ওপৰত ৰাজত্ব কৰিব। পাছত দায়ূদে অবনেৰক বিদাই দিয়াত, তেওঁ শান্তিৰে প্ৰস্থান কৰিলে।
22 And behold, the servants of David and Joab came from an expedition, and brought in a great spoil with them; but Abner was no longer with David in Hebron, for he had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.
২২তাৰ পাছত দায়ূদৰ সৈন্যসকল আৰু যোৱাবে কোনো ঠাইত লুটকৰি উভটি অহিছিল আৰু তেওঁলোকে লগত বহুত লুট দ্ৰব্য আনিছিল৷ তেতিয়া অবনেৰ দায়ূদৰ লগত হিব্ৰোণত নাছিল৷ কিয়নো দায়ূদে তেওঁক বিদায় দিয়াত তেওঁ শান্তিৰে প্ৰস্থান কৰিলে।
23 And Joab and all the host that was with him came; and they told Joab, saying, Abner the son of Ner came to the king, and he has sent him away; and he is gone in peace.
২৩যেতিয়া যোৱাব আৰু তেওঁৰ লগৰ আটাই সৈন্যদলৰ সৈতে আহিল, লোকসকলে যোৱাবক ক’লে, “নেৰৰ পুত্ৰ অবনেৰ ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিছিল; আৰু ৰজাই তেওঁক বিদায় দিয়াত তেওঁ শান্তিৰে প্ৰস্থান কৰিলে।”
24 Then Joab came to the king, and said, What hast thou done? behold, Abner came to thee; why is it [that] thou hast sent him away, and he is gone?
২৪তেতিয়া যোৱাবে ৰজাৰ আগলৈ আহি ক’লে, আপুনি কি কৰিলে? চাওঁক, অবনেৰে আপোনাৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিছিল! আপুনি তাক বিদায় দি কিয় শান্তিৰে যাবলৈ দিলে?
25 Thou knowest Abner the son of Ner, that he came to deceive thee, to know thy going out and thy coming in, and to know all that thou doest.
২৫আপুনি নাজানে জানো, যে নেৰৰ পুত্ৰ অবনেৰকে আপোনাক ভূলাবলৈ আৰু আপোনাৰ পৰিকল্পনাসমূহ উদ্ঘাতন কৰিবলৈ আৰু আপুনি যি যি কৰি আছে, সেই সকলোৰ বিষয়ে বুজিবলৈহে তেওঁ আহিছিল।
26 And when Joab was come out from David, he sent messengers after Abner, who brought him again from the well of Sirah; but David did not know it.
২৬যেতিয়া যোৱাবে দায়ূদৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা বাহিৰ ওলাই আহিল, তেতিয়া তেওঁ অবনেৰৰ পাছত দূত পঠিয়াই দিলে আৰু তেওঁলোকে গৈ চিৰা নাদৰ ওচৰৰ পৰা অবনেৰক ওভোটাই আনিলে, কিন্তু দায়ূদে এই কথাৰ বুজ নাপালে।
27 And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him secretly, and smote him there in the belly, that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.
২৭যেতিয়া অবনেৰ হিব্ৰোণলৈ ঘূৰি আহিল, যোৱাবে তেওঁক গুপুতে কথা ক’বৰ ছলেৰে নগৰৰ দুৱাৰৰ ভিতৰলৈ তেওঁক এফলীয়াকৈ লৈ গৈ, নিজ ভায়েক অচাহেলৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ কাৰণে, সেই ঠাইতে তেওঁৰ পেটত এনেকৈ আঘাত কৰিলে, যে তেওঁৰ তাতেই মৃত্যু হ’ল।
28 And afterwards David heard [it], and he said, I and my kingdom are guiltless before Jehovah for ever from the blood of Abner the son of Ner:
২৮যেতিয়া দায়ূদে সেই কথা শুনিলে, তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “নেৰৰ পুত্ৰ অবনেৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ বিষয়ে মই আৰু মোৰ ৰাজ্য যিহোৱাৰ দৃষ্টিত সদাকাললৈকে নিৰ্দ্দোষী।
29 let it fall on the head of Joab, and on all his father's house; and let there not fail from the house of Joab one that has an issue, or that is a leper, or that leans on a staff, or that falls by the sword, or that lacks bread!
২৯সেই ৰক্তপাতৰ দোষ যোৱাবৰ আৰু তাৰ গোটেই পিতৃ-বংশৰ ওপৰত পৰোক৷ আৰু যোৱাবৰ দেশত প্ৰমেহ ৰোগী, কুষ্ঠী, লাখুটিত ভৰ দিওঁতা, তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰায় পৰা, বা খাবলৈ নোপোৱা, এনে প্ৰকাৰৰ লোকৰ অভাব নহওঁক।”
30 So Joab and Abishai his brother killed Abner, because he had slain their brother Asahel at Gibeon in the battle.
৩০এইদৰে যোৱাবে আৰু তেওঁৰ ভায়েক অবীচয়ে, গিবিয়োনৰ যুদ্ধত নিজৰ ভাই অচাহেলক বধ কৰাৰ কাৰণে অবনেৰক বধ কৰিলে।
31 And David said to Joab, and to all the people that were with him, Rend your garments, and gird yourselves with sackcloth, and mourn before Abner. And king David followed the bier.
৩১পাছত দায়ূদে যোৱাব আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত থকা সকলো লোকক ক’লে, তোমালোকে তোমালোকৰ কাপোৰ ফালি কঁকালত চট পিন্ধা আৰু শোক কৰি কৰি অবনেৰৰ শৱৰ আগে আগে চলা। আৰু দায়ুদ ৰজাও মৰা শৱৰ চাঙৰ পাছে পাছে গ’ল৷
32 And they buried Abner in Hebron; and the king lifted up his voice and wept at the grave of Abner; and all the people wept.
৩২পাছত তেওঁলোকে হিব্ৰোণত অবনেৰক মৈদাম দিলে৷ সেই সময়ত ৰজাই অবনেৰৰ মৈদামৰ ওচৰত বৰ মাতেৰে ক্ৰন্দন কৰিলে আৰু আন সকলো লোকেও কান্দিলে।
33 And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Should Abner die as a fool dieth?
৩৩ৰজাই অবনেৰৰ বিষয়ে বিলাপ কৰি গীত গালে, “অবনেৰো অজ্ঞানৰ দৰে মৰিব লাগেনে?
34 Thy hands were not bound, Nor thy feet put into fetters; As a man falleth before wicked men, Fellest thou! And all the people wept again over him.
৩৪তোমাৰ হাত বন্ধা নাছিল৷ তোমাৰ ভৰিতো বেড়ী লগোৱা নাছিল৷ অন্যায় কৰোঁতা লোকৰ আগত পতিত হোৱা জনৰ দৰে তুমি পতিত থ’লো।” পাছত সকলো লোকে তেওঁৰ কাৰণে পুনৰাই ক্ৰন্দন কৰিলে।
35 And all the people came to cause David to eat bread while it was yet day; but David swore, saying, So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread or aught else till the sun be down!
৩৫পাছত আটাই লোকে বেলি থাকোঁতেই দায়ূদক ভোজন কৰাবলৈ আহিলত, দায়ূদে এই শপত খালে, “বেলি মাৰ নৌ যাওঁতে মই যদি পিঠা বা আন কিবা বস্তুৰেই আস্বাদ লওঁ, তেন্তে ঈশ্বৰে মোক অমুক আৰু তাতোকৈয়ো অধিক দণ্ড দিয়ক।”
36 And all the people remarked it, and it pleased them; as whatever the king did pleased all the people.
৩৬তাতে সকলো লোকে তেওঁৰ এই ব্যৱহাৰ দেখি সন্তোষ পালে; আৰু ৰজাই যি যি কৰিছিল, তাতো সকলো লোকে সন্তোষ পাইছিল।
37 And all the people and all Israel understood that day that it was not of the king to put Abner the son of Ner to death.
৩৭আৰু নেৰৰ পুত্ৰ অবনেৰক বধ কৰা কথাত ৰজাৰ যে অনুমতি নাই, তাক সকলো লোকে আৰু সকলো ইস্ৰায়েলেও সেই দিনা বুজি পালে।
38 And the king said to his servants, Know ye not that there is a prince and a great man fallen this day in Israel?
৩৮পাছে ৰজাই তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, আজি যে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত প্ৰধান আৰু মহান লোক এজন পতিত হ’ল, তাক জানো তোমালোকে নাজানা নে?
39 And I am this day weak, though anointed king; and these men, the sons of Zeruiah, are too hard for me: Jehovah reward the doer of evil according to his wickedness!
৩৯অভিষিক্ত ৰজা হ’লেও আজি মই দূৰ্ব্বল৷ এইকেইজনলোক আৰু চৰূয়াৰ পুত্ৰসকল মোৰ বাবে অতি পাষবিক৷ যিহোৱাই কুকৰ্ম কৰাসকলক তেওঁলোকৰ অসৎ ব্যৱহাৰৰ কাৰণে পাব লগীয়া উচিত প্ৰতিফল দিয়ক।
