< Esias 46 >
1 Bel has fallen, Nabo is broken to pieces, their graven images are gone to the wild beasts and the cattle: you take them packed up as a burden to the weary, exhausted, hungry, and [at the same time] helpless man;
Bels grūst, Nebus krīt, viņu tēlus uzliek kustoņiem un lopiem; ko jūs nesat, ir nesama nasta piekusušiem (lopiem).
2 who will not be able to save themselves from war, but they themselves are led [away] captive.
Tie visi kopā klūp un krīt, tie nevar izglābt to nastu, bet iet paši cietumā.
3 Hear me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of Israel, who are borne [by me] from the womb, and taught [by me] from infancy, [even] to old age:
Klausies uz Mani, Jēkaba nams, un visi atlikušie no Israēla nama, ko esmu nesis no mātes miesām un uzņēmis no mātes klēpja.
4 I am [he]; and until you shall have grown old, I am [he]: I bear you, I have made, and I will relieve, I will take up and save you.
Un līdz pašam vecumam Es būšu tas pats, kamēr jūs topat sirmi, Es nesīšu. Es to esmu darījis, un Es jūs uzņemšu, un Es nesīšu un izglābšu.
5 To whom have you compared me? see, consider, you that go astray.
Kam jūs Mani līdzināsiet un turēsiet līdzīgu? Ar ko Mani salīdzināsiet, ka būtu vienādi?
6 They that furnish gold out of a purse, and silver by weight, will weigh it in a scale, and they hire a goldsmith and make idols, and bow down, and worship them.
Tie izber zeltu no maka un sver sudrabu ar svaru, tie sader sudraba kalēju, un tas to iztaisa par dievekli, tie metās ceļos un to pielūdz.
7 They bear it upon the shoulder, and go; and if they put it upon its place, it remains, it can’t move: and whoever shall cry to it, it can’t hear; it can’t save him from trouble.
Tie to ceļ uz pleciem, to nes, un to noliek savā vietā. Tur viņš stāv un neatstājās no savas vietas; viņu arī piesauc, bet tas neatbild un neviena neizglābj no bēdām.
8 Remember you these things, and groan: repent, you that have gone astray, return in your heart;
Pieminiet to un turaties stipri, jūs pārkāpēji, ņemiet to pie sirds.
9 and remember the former things [that were] of old: for I am God, and there is none other beside me,
Pieminiet pagājušās lietas no vecu veciem laikiem; jo Es esmu Dievs, un cits neviens, Es esmu Dievs, un nav neviena kā Es,
10 telling beforehand the latter events before they come to pass, and they are accomplished together: and I said, all my counsel shall stand, and I will do all things that I have planned:
Kas no iesākuma galu dara zināmu, un no senlaikiem to, kas vēl nav noticis, kas saka: Mans padoms pastāvēs, un Es darīšu visu, kas Man patīk.
11 calling a bird from the east, and from a land afar off, for the things which I have planned: I have spoken, and brought [him]; I have created and made [him]; I have brought him, and prospered his way.
Es aicināju ērgli no rīta puses un vīru pēc Sava padoma no tālas zemes. Es to esmu runājis un tam likšu nākt, Es to esmu apņēmies, Es to arī izdarīšu.
12 Listen to me, you senseless ones, that are far from righteousness:
Klausāties uz Mani, cietsirdīgie, kas esat tālu no taisnības.
13 I have brought near my righteousness, and I will not be slow with the salvation that is from me: I have given salvation in Sion to Israel for glory.
Es Savu taisnību tuvu esmu atnesis, tā nebūs tālu, un Mana pestīšana nekavēsies, jo Es došu pestīšanu Ciānā, iekš Israēla Savu godību.
