Numbers 30
1 And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the Lord has commanded.
೧ಮೋಶೆಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರ ಕುಲಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದರೆ, “ಯೆಹೋವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ,
2 Whatsoever man shall vow a vow to the Lord, or swear an oath, or bind himself with an obligation upon his soul, he shall not break his word; all that shall come out of his mouth he shall do.
೨ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಾನು ಅಶುದ್ಧವಾದುದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಆಣೆಯಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಮೀರದೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆಯೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು.
3 And if a woman shall vow a vow to the Lord, or bind herself with an obligation in her youth in her father's house; and her father should hear her vows and her obligations, wherewith she has bound her soul, and her father should hold his peace at her, then all her vows shall stand,
೩“ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಕನ್ಯಾವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ
4 and all the obligations with which she has bound her soul, shall remain to her.
೪ಅವಳ ತಂದೆಯು ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವಳು ಆ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲೇಬೇಕು. ಯಾವುದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟದೆ ಇರುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಳೋ ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಲೇ ಬಾರದು.
5 But if her father straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he shall hear all her vows and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul, they shall not stand; and the Lord shall hold her guiltless, because her father forbade her.
೫ಆದರೆ ತಂದೆ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಅವಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಹರಕೆಗಳೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗುವವು. ತಂದೆ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
6 But if she should be indeed married, and her vows be upon her according to the utterance of her lips, [the obligations] which she has contracted upon her soul;
೬“ಅವಳು ಮದುವೆಯಾದ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹರಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಯೋಚಿಸದೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ನಡೆಯುವಷ್ಟರೊಳಗೆ,
7 and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her in the day in which he should hear, then thus shall all her vows be binding, and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand.
೭ಗಂಡನು ಆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಹರಕೆಗಳೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳೂ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕು.
8 But if her husband should straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he should hear her, none of her vows or obligations which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand, because her husband has disallowed her, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.
೮ಆದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗಲೇ ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ಆ ಹರಕೆಯು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಯು ನಿರರ್ಥಕವಾಗುವವು. ಯೆಹೋವನು ಅವಳನ್ನು ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
9 And the vow of a widow and of her that is put away, whatsoever she shall bind upon her soul, shall stand to her.
೯“ವಿಧವೆಯು ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಗಂಡನಿಂದ ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಇಂತಹ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರೆ ಅದು ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು. ಅವಳು ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಬೇಕು.
10 And if her vow [be made] in the house of her husband, or the obligation upon her soul with an oath,
೧೦“ಮುತ್ತೈದೆಯು ಅಂತಹ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ,
11 and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her, and not disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and all the obligations which she contracted against her soul, shall stand against her.
೧೧ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ತಿಳಿದು ಅಡ್ಡಿಮಾಡದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಆ ಹರಕೆಗಳೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳೂ ನಿಲ್ಲುವವು.
12 But if her husband should utterly cancel the vow in the day in which he shall hear it, none of the things which shall proceed out of her lips in her vows, and in the obligations [contracted] upon her soul, shall stand to her; her husband has cancelled them, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.
೧೨ಆದರೆ ಗಂಡನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗಲೇ ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೆ ಅವು ರದ್ದಾಗುವವು. ಗಂಡನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಂಥವಳು ಯೆಹೋವನಿಗೆ ಹರಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ದೋಷಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband shall confirm it to her, or her husband shall cancel it.
೧೩ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹರಕೆಯನ್ನೂ, ಉಪವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವೆನೆಂದು ಅವಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ರದ್ದುಮಾಡುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಲಿ ಗಂಡನಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವಿರುವುದು.
14 But if he be wholly silent at her from day to day, then shall he bind upon her all her vows; and he shall confirm to her the obligations [which she has bound] upon herself, because he held his peace at her in the day in which he heard her.
೧೪ಆದರೆ ಅವಳ ಗಂಡನು ಯಾವ ಅಡ್ಡಿಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡದೆ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವಳ ಹರಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ನಮೂದಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಗುವುದು.
15 And if her husband should in any wise cancel [them] after the day in which he heard [them], then he shall bear his iniquity.
೧೫ಅವನು ತರುವಾಯ ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೆ ಆ ಪಾಪದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ಅವನೇ ಅನುಭವಿಸಬೇಕು.”
16 These [are] the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, and between a father and daughter in [her] youth in the house of [her] father.
೧೬ಗಂಡಹೆಂಡತಿಯರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಇನ್ನೂ ಮದುವೆಯಿಲ್ಲದ ಹೆಂಗಸು ಮತ್ತು ಅವಳ ತಂದೆ ಇವರ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ಹರಕೆಗಳ ಸಂಬಂಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಇವೇ.
