Isaiah 10

1 Cursed are those who make evil decisions, and the writers who make the records of their cruel acts:

ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଅଧର୍ମ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ସ୍ଥାପନ କରନ୍ତି ଓ ଯେଉଁ ଲେଖକମାନେ ଉପଦ୍ରବର କଥା ଲେଖନ୍ତି, ସେମାନେ ସନ୍ତାପର ପାତ୍ର!

2 Who do wrong to the poor in their cause, and take away the right of the crushed among my people, so that they may have the property of widows, and get under their power those who have no father.

ସେମାନେ ବିଧବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ପିତୃହୀନମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କର ମୃଗୟା ସ୍ୱରୂପ କରିବା ପାଇଁ, ଦରିଦ୍ରମାନଙ୍କୁ ନ୍ୟାୟବିଚାରରୁ ଫେରାଇ ଦିଅନ୍ତି ଓ ମୋହର ଦୁଃଖୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାର ହରଣ କରନ୍ତି।

3 And what will you do in the day of punishment, and in the destruction which is coming from far? to whom will you go for help, and what will become of your glory?

ଏଣୁ ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବାର ଦିନରେ ଓ ଦୂରରୁ ଆସନ୍ତା ବିନାଶ ସମୟରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କଅଣ କରିବ? ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନିମନ୍ତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କାହା ନିକଟକୁ ପଳାଇବ? ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ପ୍ରତାପ କେଉଁଠାରେ ରଖିବ?

4 ... For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

ସେମାନେ କେବଳ ବନ୍ଦୀ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ପଦ ତଳେ ନତ ହେବେ ଓ ହତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ତଳେ ପଡ଼ିବେ। ଏହିସବୁ ହେଲେ ହେଁ ତାହାଙ୍କର କ୍ରୋଧ ନିବୃତ୍ତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ, ମାତ୍ର ତାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ପୂର୍ବ ପରି ବିସ୍ତାରିତ ହୋଇ ରହିଅଛି।

5 Ho! Assyrian, the rod of my wrath, the instrument of my punishment!

ହାୟ ଅଶୂର! ସେ ଆମ୍ଭର କ୍ରୋଧରୂପ ଦଣ୍ଡ, ତାହାର ହସ୍ତରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପରୂପ ଯଷ୍ଟି ଅଛି।

6 I will send him against a nation of wrongdoers, and against the people of my wrath I will give him orders, to take their wealth in war, crushing them down like the dust in the streets.

ଆମ୍ଭେ ତାହାକୁ ଲୁଟିତ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ଓ ମୃଗୟା ନେଇଯିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଓ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବାଟର କାଦୁଅ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଦଳିତ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଧର୍ମହୀନ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଓ ଆମ୍ଭ କ୍ରୋଧପାତ୍ର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦେବା।

7 But this is not what is in his mind, and this is not his design; but his purpose is destruction, and the cutting off of more and more nations.

ତଥାପି ତାହାର ଅଭିପ୍ରାୟ ସେହିପରି ନୁହେଁ, କିଅବା ତାହାର ହୃଦୟ ସେହିପରି ଭାବେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ବିନାଶ କରିବାକୁ ଓ ଅନେକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀଙ୍କୁ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବାକୁ ତାହାର ହୃଦୟରେ ଅଛି।

8 For he says, Are not all my captains kings?

କାରଣ ସେ କହେ, “ଆମ୍ଭର ସେନାପତିଗଣ ସମସ୍ତେ କି ରାଜା ନୁହନ୍ତି?

9 Will not the fate of Calno be like that of Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as Damascus?

କଲ୍‍ନୋ ସହର କି କର୍କମୀଶ୍‍ ସହର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ? ହମାତ୍‍ ସହର କି ଅର୍ପଦ ସହର ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ? ଶମରୀୟା କି ଦମ୍ମେଶକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ନୁହେଁ?

10 As my hand has come on the kingdoms of the images, whose pictured images were more in number than those of Jerusalem and Samaria;

ଯେଉଁ ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣର ରାଜ୍ୟସକଳର ଖୋଦିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିସମୂହ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମର ଓ ଶମରୀୟାର ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିଗଣ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ, ସେହି ସବୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ଆମ୍ଭର ହସ୍ତଗତ ହୋଇଅଛି;

11 So, as I have done to Samaria and her images, I will do to Jerusalem and her images.

ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶମରୀୟା ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ପ୍ରତି ଯେପରି କରିଅଛୁ, ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିମାଗଣ ପ୍ରତି କʼଣ ସେହିପରି କରିବା ନାହିଁ?”

12 For this cause it will be that, when the purpose of the Lord against Mount Zion and Jerusalem is complete, I will send punishment on the pride of the heart of the king of Assyria, and on the glory of his uplifted eyes.

ଏହେତୁ ଏପରି ଘଟିବ ଯେ, ପ୍ରଭୁ ସିୟୋନ ପର୍ବତରେ ଓ ଯିରୂଶାଲମରେ ଆପଣାର ସମସ୍ତ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସାଧନ କଲା ଉତ୍ତାରେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଅଶୂର-ରାଜର ଅହଙ୍କାରମୟ ଚିତ୍ତରୂପ ଫଳର ଓ ତାହାର ଉଚ୍ଚ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରୂପ ଆଡ଼ମ୍ବରର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ଦେବା।

13 For he has said, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my knowledge, for I am wise: and I have taken away the limits of the peoples' lands, and the stores of their wealth have become mine; and I have made towns low in the dust, sending destruction on those living in them;

କାରଣ ସେ କହିଅଛି, “ମୁଁ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ହେବାରୁ ଆପଣା ହସ୍ତର ବଳ ଓ ଆପଣା ଜ୍ଞାନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଏହା କରିଅଛି; ପୁଣି, ମୁଁ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ସୀମା ଦୂର କରିଅଛି ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସଞ୍ଚିତ ଧନ ହରଣ କରିଅଛି, ଆଉ ମୁଁ ବିକ୍ରମଶାଳୀ ଲୋକ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ସିଂହାସନୋପବିଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ତଳକୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଆଣିଅଛି;

14 And I have put my hands on the wealth of the peoples, as on the place where a bird has put her eggs; and as a man may take the eggs from which a bird has gone, so I have taken all the earth for myself: and not a wing was moved, and not a mouth gave out a sound.

ପୁଣି, ମୋହର ହସ୍ତ ନାନା ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀର ଧନ ପକ୍ଷୀର ବସା ତୁଲ୍ୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହୋଇଅଛି ଓ କେହି ଯେପରି ତ୍ୟକ୍ତ ଡିମ୍ବ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରେ, ସେହିପରି ମୁଁ ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରିଅଛି; ଆଉ, ପକ୍ଷ ହଲାଇବାକୁ କିଅବା ଥଣ୍ଟ ଫିଟାଇବାକୁ ଅବା ଚିଁ ଚିଁ ଶବ୍ଦ କରିବାକୁ କେହି ନ ଥିଲା।”

15 Will the axe say high-sounding words against him who is using it, or the blade be full of pride against him who is cutting with it? As if a rod had the power of shaking him who is using it, or as if a stick might take up him who is not wood.

କୁହ୍ରାଡ଼ି କʼଣ ତଦ୍ଦ୍ୱାରା ଛେଦନକର୍ତ୍ତା ବିରୁଦ୍ଧରେ ଦର୍ପ କରିବ? କରତ କʼଣ କରତୀୟାର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆପଣାକୁ ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ କରିବ? ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଉଠାନ୍ତି, ଦଣ୍ଡ କʼଣ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ହଲାଇବ? ଯେ କାଷ୍ଠ ନୁହେଁ, ଯଷ୍ଟି କʼଣ ତାହାକୁ ଉଠାଇବ?

16 For this cause the Lord, the Lord of armies, will make his fat become wasted; and in his inner parts a fire will be lighted like a burning flame.

ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତାହାର ସ୍ଥୂଳକାୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ କ୍ଷୀଣତା ପଠାଇବେ ଓ ତାହାର ପ୍ରତାପର ତଳେ ଅଗ୍ନିଦାହ ତୁଲ୍ୟ ଦାହ ହେବ।

17 And the light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: wasting and burning up his thorns in one day.

ପୁଣି, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଜ୍ୟୋତିଃ ଅଗ୍ନି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ହେବ ଓ ତାହାର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ ଅଗ୍ନିଶିଖା ସଦୃଶ ହେବେ, ଆଉ ତାହା ଜ୍ୱଳି ଗୋଟିଏ ଦିନରେ ତାହାର କାନକୋଳି ଓ କଣ୍ଟକ ବୃକ୍ଷସବୁ ଗ୍ରାସ କରିବ।

18 And he will put an end to the glory of his woods and of his planted fields, soul and body together; and it will be as when a man is wasted by disease.

ଆଉ, ସେ ତାହାର ବନ ଓ ଉର୍ବରା କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ଗୌରବକୁ ପ୍ରାଣ ଓ ଶରୀର ସୁଦ୍ଧା ସଂହାର କରିବେ; ତହିଁରେ ଧ୍ୱଜାଧାରୀ କ୍ଷୀଣ ହେବା ବେଳେ ଯେପରି ହୁଏ, ସେହିପରି ହେବ।

19 And the rest of the trees of his wood will be small in number, so that a child may put them down in writing.

ପୁଣି, ତାହାର ବନର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ବୃକ୍ଷ ଏତେ ଅଳ୍ପ ହେବ ଯେ, ଗୋଟିଏ ବାଳକ ତାହା ଲେଖି ପାରିବ।

20 And it will be in that day that the rest of Israel, and those of Jacob who have come safely through these troubles, will no longer go for help to him whose rod was on their back, but their faith will be in the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.

ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ଏପରି ଘଟିବ ଯେ, ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଓ ଯାକୁବ ବଂଶର ରକ୍ଷାପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ଲୋକେ ଆପଣାମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରହାରକାରୀର ଉପରେ ଆଉ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବେ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେମାନେ ସତ୍ୟ ଭାବରେ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଧର୍ମସ୍ୱରୂପ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନିର୍ଭର କରିବେ।

21 The rest, even the rest of Jacob, will come back to the Strong God.

ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ, ଅର୍ଥାତ୍‍, ଯାକୁବର ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ, ପରାକ୍ରାନ୍ତ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଫେରି ଆସିବେ।

22 For though your people, O Israel, are as the sand of the sea, only a small number will come back: for the destruction is fixed, overflowing in righteousness.

କାରଣ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଲୋକେ ସମୁଦ୍ରର ବାଲି ପରି ହେଲେ ହେଁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କେବଳ ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଫେରି ଆସିବେ; ଧାର୍ମିକତାର ବଢ଼ି ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନତା ନିରୂପିତ ହୋଇଅଛି।

23 For the Lord, the Lord of armies, is about to make destruction complete in all the land.

ଯେହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସମୁଦାୟ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନତା, ନିରୂପିତ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନତା, ସିଦ୍ଧ କରିବେ।

24 For this cause the Lord, the Lord of armies, says, O my people living in Zion, have no fear of the Assyrian, even if his rod comes on your back, and his stick is lifted up as in Egypt.

ଏହେତୁ ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ କହନ୍ତି, “ହେ ସିୟୋନ ନିବାସୀ ଆମ୍ଭର ଲୋକମାନେ, ଯଦ୍ୟପି ଅଶୂର ମିସରର ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦଣ୍ଡାଘାତ କରେ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିପରୀତରେ ଆପଣା ଯଷ୍ଟି ଉଠାଏ, ତଥାପି ତାହା ବିଷୟରେ ଭୀତ ହୁଅ ନାହିଁ।

25 For in a very short time my passion will be over, and my wrath will be turned to their destruction.

କାରଣ ଅତ୍ୟଳ୍ପ କାଳ ଉତ୍ତାରେ କ୍ରୋଧ ଓ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ବିନାଶରେ ଆମ୍ଭର କୋପ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେବ।

26 And the Lord of armies will be shaking a whip against him, as when he overcame Midian at the rock of Oreb: and his rod will be lifted up against them as it was against the Egyptians.

ପୁଣି, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ଓରେବ ଶୈଳରେ ମିଦୀୟନର ହତ୍ୟା କାଳରେ ଯେପରି କରିଥିଲେ, ସେହିପରି ତାହାର ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଆପଣା କୋରଡ଼ା ହଲାଇବେ; ଆଉ, ତାହାଙ୍କର ଦଣ୍ଡ ସାଗର ଉପରେ ରହିବ ଓ ମିସରର ରୀତି ଅନୁସାରେ ସେ ତାହା ଉଠାଇବେ।

27 And in that day the weight which he put on your back will be taken away, and his yoke broken from off your neck.

ପୁଣି, ସେହି ଦିନରେ ତାହାର ବୋଝ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସ୍କନ୍ଧରୁ ଓ ତାହାର ଯୁଆଳି ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗ୍ରୀବାରୁ ଦୂର କରାଯିବ, ପୁଣି ଅଭିଷେକ ସକାଶୁ ଯୁଆଳି ବିନଷ୍ଟ ହେବ।”

28 He has gone up from Pene-Rimmon, he has come to Aiath; he has gone past Migron, at Michmash he puts his forces in order.

ସେ ଅୟାତକୁ ଆସିଅଛି, ସେ ମିଗ୍ରୋଣ ମଧ୍ୟଦେଇ ଯାଇଅଛି; ସେ ମିକ୍‍ମସରେ ଆପଣା ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ରଖୁଅଛି;

29 They have gone across the mountain; Geba will be our resting-place tonight, they say: Ramah is shaking with fear; Gibeah of Saul has gone in flight.

ସେମାନେ ଘାଟି ପାର ହୋଇ ଯାଇଅଛନ୍ତି; ସେମାନେ ଗେବାରେ ବସା କରିଅଛନ୍ତି; ରାମା କମ୍ପୁଅଛି; ଶାଉଲର ଗିବୀୟା ପଳାୟନ କରିଅଛି।

30 Give a loud cry, daughter of Gallim; let Laishah give ear; let Anathoth give answer to her.

ଆଗୋ ଗଲ୍ଲୀମର କନ୍ୟେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ରବରେ ଉଚ୍ଚ ଶବ୍ଦ କର, ହେ ଲୟିଶ୍‍, କର୍ଣ୍ଣପାତ କର, ଆଃ ଦୁଃଖିନୀ ଅନାଥୋତ୍‍,

31 Madmenah has gone; the men of Gebim are putting their goods in a safe place.

ମଦମେନା ପଳାତକ ହୋଇଅଛି; ଗେବୀମ ନିବାସୀମାନେ ପଳାଇବା ପାଇଁ ଏକତ୍ର ହେଉଅଛନ୍ତି।

32 This very day he is stopping at Nob; he is shaking his hand against the mountain of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.

ସେ ଆଜି ନୋବରେ ରହିବ; ସେ ସିୟୋନ କନ୍ୟାର ପର୍ବତ ଯିରୂଶାଲମ ଗିରି ପ୍ରତି ହସ୍ତ ହଲାଉଅଛି।

33 See, the Lord, the Lord of armies, is cutting off his branches with a great noise, and his strong ones are falling and his high ones are coming down.

ଦେଖ, ପ୍ରଭୁ, ସୈନ୍ୟାଧିପତି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଭୟଙ୍କର ରୂପରେ ଶାଖାସବୁ କାଟି ପକାଇବେ; ପୁଣି, ଉଚ୍ଚ ଆକୃତିସବୁ ହଣା ଯିବ ଓ ଉନ୍ନତସବୁ ନତ କରାଯିବ।

34 And he is cutting down the thick places of the wood with an axe, and Lebanon with its tall trees is coming down.

ସେ ଲୌହ ଦ୍ୱାରା ବନର ନିବିଡ଼ ସ୍ଥାନସବୁ କାଟି ପକାଇବେ, ପୁଣି ଏକ ମହାପରାକ୍ରମୀ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଲିବାନୋନ ନିପାତିତ ହେବ।
