Isaiah 49

1 Listen to Me, O islands; pay attention, O distant peoples: The LORD called Me from the womb; from the body of My mother He named Me.

௧தீவுகளே, எனக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்; தூரத்திலிருக்கிற மக்களே, கவனியுங்கள்; தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்ததுமுதல் யெகோவா என்னை அழைத்து, நான் என் தாயின் வயிற்றில் இருக்கும்போது என் நாமத்தைப் பிரஸ்தாபப்படுத்தினார்.

2 He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid Me in the shadow of His hand. He made Me like a polished arrow; He hid Me in His quiver.

௨அவர் என் வாயைக் கூர்மையான பட்டயமாக்கி, தமது கரத்தின் நிழலினால் என்னை மறைத்து, என்னைக் கூர்மையான அம்பாக்கி, என்னைத் தமது அம்புகளை வைக்கும் பையிலே மூடிவைத்தார்.

3 He said to Me, “You are My Servant, Israel, in whom I will display My glory.”

௩அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ என் ஊழியக்காரன்; இஸ்ரவேலே, நான் உன்னில் மகிமைப்படுவேன் என்றார்.

4 But I said, “I have labored in vain, I have spent My strength in futility and vanity; yet My vindication is with the LORD, and My reward is with My God.”

௪அதற்கு நான்: வீணாக உழைக்கிறேன், வீணாகவும் பயனற்றதாகவும் என் பெலனைச் செலவழிக்கிறேன்; ஆகிலும் என் நியாயம் கர்த்தரிடத்திலும், என் பலன் என் தேவனிடத்திலும் இருக்கிறது என்று சொன்னேன்.

5 And now says the LORD, who formed Me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, that Israel might be gathered to Him— for I am honored in the sight of the LORD, and My God is My strength—

௫யாக்கோபைத் தம்மிடத்தில் திருப்பும்படி நான் தாயின் கர்ப்பத்திலிருந்ததுமுதல் யெகோவா தமக்கு ஊழியக்காரனாக என்னை உருவாக்கினார்; இஸ்ரவேலோ சேராதேபோகிறது; ஆகிலும் யெகோவாவுடைய பார்வையில் கனமடைவேன், என் தேவன் என் பெலனாயிருப்பார்.

6 He says: “It is not enough for You to be My Servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the protected ones of Israel. I will also make You a light for the nations, to bring My salvation to the ends of the earth.”

௬யாக்கோபின் வம்சங்களை எழுப்பவும், இஸ்ரவேலில் காக்கப்பட்டவர்களைத் திருப்பவும், நீர் எனக்குத் தாசனாயிருப்பது அற்பகாரியமாயிருக்கிறது; நீர் பூமியின் முடிவுவரைக்கும் என்னுடைய இரட்சிப்பாயிருக்கும்படி, உம்மை தேசங்களுக்கு ஒளியாகவும் வைப்பேன் என்கிறார்.

7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer and Holy One of Israel, to Him who was despised and abhorred by the nation, to the Servant of rulers: “Kings will see You and rise, and princes will bow down, because of the LORD, who is faithful, the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen You.”

௭இஸ்ரவேலின் மீட்பரும் அதின் பரிசுத்தருமாகிய யெகோவா, மனிதர்களால் அசட்டைசெய்யப்பட்டவரும், தேசங்களால் அருவருக்கப்பட்டவரும், அதிகாரிகளுக்கு ஊழியக்காரனுமாயிருக்கிறவரை நோக்கி, உண்மையுள்ள யெகோவா நிமித்தமும், உம்மைத் தெரிந்துகொண்ட இஸ்ரவேலின் பரிசுத்தர்நிமித்தமும், ராஜாக்கள் கண்டு எழுந்திருந்து, பிரபுக்கள் பணிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்று சொல்கிறார்.

8 This is what the LORD says: “In the time of favor I will answer You, and in the day of salvation I will help You; I will keep You and appoint You to be a covenant for the people, to restore the land, to apportion its desolate inheritances,

௮பின்னும் யெகோவா: அனுக்கிரகக் காலத்திலே நான் உமக்குச் செவிகொடுத்து, இரட்சணிய நாளிலே உமக்கு உதவி செய்தேன்; நீர் பூமியைச் சீர்ப்படுத்தி, பாழாய்க்கிடக்கிற இடங்களைச் சொந்தமாக்கிக்கொள்ளவும்;

9 to say to the prisoners, ‘Come out,’ and to those in darkness, ‘Show yourselves.’ They will feed along the pathways, and find pasture on every barren hill.

௯கட்டுண்டவர்களை நோக்கி: புறப்பட்டுப்போங்கள் என்றும்; இருளில் இருக்கிறவர்களை நோக்கி: வெளியே வாருங்கள் என்றும் சொல்லவும், நான் உம்மைக் காப்பாற்றி, உம்மை மக்களுக்கு உடன்படிக்கையாக ஏற்படுத்துவேன்; அவர்கள் வழியோரங்களிலே மேய்வார்கள்; சகல மேடுகளிலும் அவர்களுக்கு மேய்ச்சல் உண்டாயிருக்கும்.

10 They will not hunger or thirst, nor will scorching heat or sun beat down on them. For He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water.

௧0அவர்கள் பசியாயிருப்பதுமில்லை, தாகமாயிருப்பதுமில்லை; உஷ்ணமாகிலும், வெயிலாகிலும் அவர்கள்மேல் படுவதுமில்லை; அவர்களுக்கு இரங்குகிறவர் அவர்களை நடத்தி, அவர்களை நீரூற்றுகளிடத்திற்குக் கொண்டுபோய்விடுவார்.

11 I will turn all My mountains into roads, and My highways will be raised up.

௧௧என் மலைகளையெல்லாம் வழிகளாக்குவேன்; என் பாதைகள் உயர்த்தப்படும்.

12 Behold, they will come from far away, from the north and from the west, and from the land of Aswan.”

௧௨இதோ, இவர்கள் தூரத்திலிருந்து வருவார்கள்; இதோ, அவர்கள் வடக்கிலும் மேற்கிலுமிருந்து வருவார்கள்; இவர்கள் அஸ்வான் தேசத்திலுமிருந்து வருவார்கள் என்கிறார்.

13 Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; break forth in song, O mountains! For the LORD has comforted His people, and He will have compassion on His afflicted ones.

௧௩வானங்களே, கெம்பீரித்துப் பாடுங்கள்; பூமியே, களிகூரு; மலைகளே, கெம்பீரமாக முழங்குங்கள்; யெகோவா தம்முடைய மக்களுக்கு ஆறுதல் செய்தார்; சிறுமைப்பட்டிருக்கிற தம்முடையவர்கள்மேல் இரக்கமாயிருப்பார்.

14 But Zion said, “The LORD has forsaken me; the Lord has forgotten me!”

௧௪சீயோனோ: யெகோவா என்னைக் கைவிட்டார், ஆண்டவர் என்னை மறந்தார் என்று சொல்கிறாள்.

15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the son of her womb? Even if she could forget, I will not forget you!

௧௫ஒரு பெண் தன் கர்ப்பத்தின் குழந்தைக்கு இரங்காமல், தன் மகனை மறப்பாளோ? அவர்கள் மறந்தாலும், நான் உன்னை மறப்பதில்லை.

16 Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me.

௧௬இதோ, என் உள்ளங்கைகளில் உன்னை வரைந்திருக்கிறேன்; உன் மதில்கள் எப்போதும் என்முன் இருக்கிறது.

17 Your builders hasten back; your destroyers and wreckers depart from you.

௧௭உன் மகன்கள் துரிதமாக வருவார்கள்; உன்னை நிர்மூலமாக்கினவர்களும் உன்னைப் பாழாக்கினவர்களும் உன்னை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப்போவார்கள்.

18 Lift up your eyes and look around. They all gather together; they come to you. As surely as I live,” declares the LORD, “you will wear them all as jewelry and put them on like a bride.

௧௮உன் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்துச் சுற்றிலும் பார்; அவர்களெல்லோரும் ஏகமாகக்கூடி உன்னிடத்தில் வருகிறார்கள்; நீ அவர்களெல்லோரையும் ஆபரணமாக அணிந்து, மணமகள் அணிந்துகொள்வதுபோல, நீ அவர்களை அணிந்துகொள்வாய் என்று, என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்கிறேன் என்று யெகோவா உரைக்கிறார்.

19 For your ruined and desolate places and your ravaged land will now indeed be too small for your people, and those who devoured you will be far away.

௧௯அப்பொழுது உன் வனாந்திரங்களும், உன் பாழான இடங்களும், நிர்மூலமான உன் தேசமும், இனிக் குடிமக்களின் திரளினாலே உனக்கு நெருக்கமாயிருக்கும்; உன்னை விழுங்கினவர்கள் தூரமாவார்கள்.

20 Yet the children of your bereavement will say in your hearing, ‘This place is too small for us; make room for us to live here.’

௨0பிள்ளைகளற்றிருந்த உனக்கு உண்டாயிருக்கப்போகிற பிள்ளைகள்: இடம் எங்களுக்கு நெருக்கமாயிருக்கிறது; நாங்கள் குடியிருக்கும்படிக்கு விலகியிரு என்று, உன் காதுகள் கேட்கச்சொல்வார்கள்.

21 Then you will say in your heart, ‘Who has begotten these for me? I was bereaved and barren; I was exiled and rejected. So who has reared them? Look, I was left all alone, so where did they come from?’”

௨௧அப்பொழுது நீ: இவர்களை எனக்குப் பிறப்பித்தவர் யார்? நான் பிள்ளைகளற்றும், தனித்தும், சிறைப்பட்டும், நிலையற்றும் இருந்தேனே; இவர்களை எனக்கு வளர்த்தவர் யார்? இதோ, நான் தனிமையாக விடப்பட்டிருந்தேனே; இவர்கள் எங்கேயிருந்தவர்கள்? என்று உன் இருதயத்தில் சொல்வாய்.

22 This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations, and raise My banner to the peoples. They will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.

௨௨இதோ, தேசங்களுக்கு நேராக என் கையை உயர்த்தி, மக்களுக்கு நேராக என் கொடியை ஏற்றுவேன்; அப்பொழுது உன் மகன்களை பெரும் கைகளில் ஏந்திக்கொண்டு வருவார்கள்; உன் மகள்கள் தோளின்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வரப்படுவார்கள் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்கிறார்.

23 Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow to you facedown and lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the LORD; those who hope in Me will never be put to shame.”

௨௩ராஜாக்கள் உன்னை வளர்க்கும் தந்தைகளும், அவர்களுடைய நாயகிகள் உன் வளர்க்கும் தாய்களுமாயிருப்பார்கள்; தரையிலே முகங்குப்புறவிழுந்து உன்னைப் பணிந்து, உன் கால்களின் தூளை நக்குவார்கள்; நான் யெகோவா, எனக்குக் காத்திருக்கிறவர்கள் வெட்கப்படுவதில்லை என்பதை அப்பொழுது அறிந்துகொள்வாய்.

24 Can the plunder be snatched from the mighty, or the captives of a tyrant be delivered?

௨௪பராக்கிரமன் கையிலிருந்து கொள்ளைப்பொருளைப் பறிக்கமுடியுமோ? அல்லது நீதியாய்ச் சிறைப்பட்டுப்போனவர்களை விடுவிக்கமுடியுமோ?

25 Indeed, this is what the LORD says: “Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the plunder of the tyrant will be retrieved; I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.

௨௫என்றாலும் இதோ, பராக்கிரமனால் சிறைப்படுத்தப்பட்டவர்களும் விடுவிக்கப்படுவார்கள்; பெலவந்தனால் கொள்ளையிடப்பட்டதும் விடுதலையாக்கப்படும்; உன்னோடு வழக்காடுகிறவர்களுடன் நான் வழக்காடி, உன் பிள்ளைகளை இரட்சித்துக்கொள்வேன்.

26 I will make your oppressors eat their own flesh; they will be drunk on their own blood, as with wine. Then all mankind will know that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.”

௨௬உன்னை ஒடுக்கினவர்களுடைய மாம்சத்தை அவர்களுக்கே சாப்பிடக்கொடுப்பேன்; மதுபானத்தால் வெறிகொள்வதுபோல் தங்களுடைய இரத்தத்தினால் வெறிகொள்வார்கள்; கர்த்தரும் யாக்கோபின் வல்லவருமாகிய நான் உன் இரட்சகரும் உன் மீட்பருமாயிருக்கிறதை மாம்சமான அனைவரும் அறிந்துகொள்வார்களென்று யெகோவா சொல்கிறார்.
