< Ezekiel 43 >

1 Then the man brought me back to the gate that faces east,
Emesịa, ọ kpọbatakwara m nʼọnụ ụzọ mbata nke chere ihu nʼọwụwa anyanwụ.
2 and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of many waters, and the earth shone with His glory.
3 The vision I saw was like the vision I had seen when He came to destroy the city and like the visions I had seen by the River Kebar. I fell facedown,
Ọ dịkwa ka ọhụ mbụ m hụrụ, nke m buru ụzọ hụ nʼakụkụ ọnụ mmiri Keba, ya na nke m hụrụ na Jerusalem mgbe ọ bịara ibibi obodo ahụ. Adara m nʼala kpugide ihu m nʼaja.
4 and the glory of the LORD entered the temple through the gate facing east.
Ebube Onyenwe anyị sitere nʼọnụ ụzọ chere ihu nʼọwụwa anyanwụ bata nʼime ụlọnsọ ahụ.
5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court, and the glory of the LORD filled the temple.
Mgbe ahụ, Mmụọ nke Chineke buliri m bubata m nʼime ogige nke ime, ma ebube nke Onyenwe anyị jupụtara nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ.
6 While the man was standing beside me, I heard someone speaking to me from inside the temple,
Mgbe ahụ, anụrụ m olu ka o si nʼụlọnsọ ahụ na-agwa m okwu, dịka nwoke ahụ na-eguzokwa nʼakụkụ m.
7 and He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My throne and the place for the soles of My feet, where I will dwell among the Israelites forever. The house of Israel will never again defile My holy name—neither they nor their kings—by their prostitution and by the funeral offerings for their kings at their deaths.
Ọ sịrị m, “Nwa nke mmadụ, ebe a bụ ebe nke ocheeze, na ebe nke ọbụ ụkwụ m abụọ ga-anọgide, ebe a ka m ga-ebi nʼetiti ụmụ Izrel ruo mgbe ebighị ebi. Ụlọ Izrel agaghị emerụkwa aha nsọ m ọzọ, ha onwe ha maọbụ ndị eze ha, site nʼikpere arụsị niile ha na ibubata onyinye olili ozu ndị eze ha, mgbe ha nwụrụ anwụ.
8 When they placed their threshold next to My threshold and their doorposts beside My doorposts, with only a wall between Me and them, they defiled My holy name by the abominations they committed. Therefore I have consumed them in My anger.
Mgbe ha wuru mbata ọnụ ụzọ ha nʼakụkụ mbata ọnụ ụzọ m, tinye ọnụ ụzọ ha nʼakụkụ ọnụ ụzọ m, ọ bụkwa naanị mgbidi bụ ihe dị nʼetiti mụ na ha. Ha merụrụ aha nsọ m site nʼihe arụ niile ha mere. Ya mere m ji bibie ha nʼiwe m.
9 Now let them remove far from Me their prostitution and the funeral offerings for their kings, and I will dwell among them forever.
Ugbu a, ka ha wezuga adịghị ọcha na ife chi ndị ọzọ ha nʼihu m, bupụkwa onyinye olili ozu ndị eze ha nʼebe m nọ, mgbe ahụ, aga m ebi nʼetiti ha ruo mgbe ebighị ebi.
10 As for you, son of man, describe the temple to the people of Israel, so that they may be ashamed of their iniquities. Let them measure the plan,
“Nwa nke mmadụ, kọwaara ụmụ Izrel ụlọnsọ ahụ m ziri gị. Gwa ha ụdịdị ya, na ịpụ iche ya, ka ihere mee ha nʼihi mmehie ha.
11 and if they are ashamed of all they have done, then make known to them the design of the temple—its arrangement and its exits and entrances—its whole design along with all its statutes, forms, and laws. Write it down in their sight, so that they may keep its complete design and all its statutes and may carry them out.
12 This is the law of the temple: All its surrounding territory on top of the mountain will be most holy. Yes, this is the law of the temple.
“Nke a bụ iwu ụlọ banyere nsọ ukwu ahụ. Ebe niile gbara elu ugwu a gburugburu ga-abụ ebe dịkarịsịrị nsọ! Nke a bụ iwu ụlọnsọ ahụ.
13 These are the measurements of the altar in long cubits (a cubit and a handbreadth): Its gutter shall be a cubit deep and a cubit wide, with a rim of one span around its edge. And this is the height of the altar:
“Nke a bụ ọtụtụ niile gbasara ebe ịchụ aja ya: Ịdị elu nke ala ya bụ iri sentimita ise na atọ; ịgba gburugburu nke ọnụ ya bụ iri sentimita abụọ na atọ; obosara ya dị iri sentimita ise na atọ. Otu a ka ebe ịchụ aja ahụ ga-aha nʼogologo.
14 The space from the gutter on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide. The space from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge shall be four cubits, and the ledge one cubit wide.
Site nʼụkwụ ya nke dị nʼala ruo nʼokere ya nke etiti, ọ ga-adị otu mita nʼogologo nakwa nʼuhie; site nʼokere nke nta ruo na nke ukwu ga-adị mita abụọ nʼogologo na ọkara nʼuhie.

17 The ledge shall also be square, fourteen cubits long and fourteen cubits wide, with a rim of half a cubit and a gutter of a cubit all around it. The steps of the altar shall face east.”
Nke dị nʼokpuru ga-adị mita asatọ nʼakụkụ ọbụla; a ga-arụlite ọnụ ọnụ ya gburugburu, ka ịdị elu nke ọnụ ọnụ ya bụrụ iri sentimita abụọ na asaa. Akụkụ ya niile gbasapụrụ site nʼelu ya ruo nʼala. Ọtụtụ mgbasapụ a dị iri sentimita ise na atọ. Nʼakụkụ ọwụwa anyanwụ ka ihe e ji arịgo ya dị.”
18 Then He said to me: “Son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is constructed, so that burnt offerings may be sacrificed on it and blood may be sprinkled on it:
Mgbe ahụ, ọ gwara m, “Nwa nke mmadụ, ihe ndị a ka Onye kachasị ihe niile elu, bụ Onyenwe anyị kwuru: Ndị a bụ usoro metụtara iwu ịchụ aja nke aja nsure ọkụ, na ifesa ọbara nʼelu ebe ịchụ aja mgbe e wusiri ya.

20 You are to take some of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar, on the four corners of the ledge, and all around the rim; thus you will cleanse the altar and make atonement for it.
