< 2 Chronicles 33 >

1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-five years.
Manase anali wa zaka khumi ndi ziwiri pamene anakhala mfumu, ndipo analamulira mu Yerusalemu kwa zaka 55.
2 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD by following the abominations of the nations that the LORD had driven out before the Israelites.
Iye anachita zoyipa pamaso pa Yehova, potsatira machitidwe a mitundu imene Yehova anayithamangitsa pamaso pa Aisraeli.
3 For he rebuilt the high places that his father Hezekiah had torn down, and he raised up altars for the Baals and made Asherah poles. And he worshiped and served all the host of heaven.
Iyeyo anamanganso malo opembedzerapo mafano amene Hezekiya abambo ake anawaphwasula; anamanganso maguwa ansembe a Baala ndi kupanga mafano a Asera. Iye amagwadira zolengedwa zonse zamlengalenga ndi kumazipembedza.
4 Manasseh also built altars in the house of the LORD, of which the LORD had said, “My Name will remain in Jerusalem forever.”
Manase anamanga maguwa mʼNyumba ya Yehova, mʼmene Yehova ananena kuti, “Ine ndidzakhala mu Yerusalemu mpaka muyaya.”
5 In both courtyards of the house of the LORD, he built altars to all the host of heaven.
Mʼmabwalo onse awiri a Nyumba ya Yehova anamangamo maguwa ansembe a zolengedwa zonse zamlengalenga.
6 He sacrificed his sons in the fire in the Valley of Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did great evil in the sight of the LORD, provoking Him to anger.
Iye ankakapereka ana ake aamuna ngati nsembe yopsereza ku chigwa cha Hinomu, ankachita zamatsenga, kuwombeza ndi ufiti, ankakafunsira kwa woyankhula ndi mizimu ya anthu akufa. Iye anachita zoyipa zambiri pamaso pa Yehova, kumukwiyitsa Iyeyo.
7 Manasseh even took the carved image he had made and set it up in the house of God, of which God had said to David and his son Solomon, “In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will establish My Name forever.
Manase anatenga fano losema limene anapanga ndi kuliyika mʼNyumba ya Mulungu, zimene Mulungu ananena kwa Davide ndi kwa mwana wake Solomoni kuti, “Mʼnyumba ya Mulungu muno, mu Yerusalemu muno, malo amene ndawasankha pakati pa mafuko onse a Israeli, ndidzakhalamo mpaka muyaya.
8 I will never again cause the feet of the Israelites to leave the land that I assigned to your fathers, if only they are careful to do all that I have commanded them through Moses—all the laws, statutes, and judgments.”
Ine sindidzachotsanso phazi la Aisraeli kuchoka mʼdziko limene ndawapatsa makolo ako, ngatitu iwowa adzasamalira kuchita chilichonse chimene ndinawalamulira za malamulo onse, malangizo ndi miyambo imene inapatsidwa kudzera mwa Mose.”
9 So Manasseh led the people of Judah and Jerusalem astray, so that they did greater evil than the nations that the LORD had destroyed before the Israelites.
Koma Manase anasocheretsa anthu a ku Yuda ndi Yerusalemu, kotero anachita zoyipa zambiri kupambana mitundu imene Yehova anayiwononga pamaso pa Aisraeli.
10 And the LORD spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they did not listen.
Yehova anayankhula kwa Manase ndi anthu ake, koma iwo sanasamaleko.
11 So the LORD brought against them the military commanders of the king of Assyria, who captured Manasseh, put a hook in his nose, bound him with bronze shackles, and took him to Babylon.
Kotero Yehova anawatumizira atsogoleri a ankhondo a ku Asiriya amene anagwira Manase ukapolo, anayika ngowe mʼmphuno mwake, namumanga ndi zingwe zamkuwa ndi kupita naye ku Babuloni.
12 And in his distress, Manasseh sought the favor of the LORD his God and earnestly humbled himself before the God of his fathers.
Ali pa mavuto akewo anafunafuna kuti Yehova Mulungu wake amukomere mtima ndipo anadzichepetsa kwakukulu pamaso pa Mulungu wa makolo ake.
13 And when he prayed to Him, the LORD received his plea and heard his petition; so He brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD is God.
Ndipo atapemphera, Yehova anakhudzidwa ndi kupempha kwakeko ndipo anamvera madandawulo ake. Kotero anamubweretsanso ku Yerusalemu ndi ku ufumu wake. Ndipo Manase anadziwa kuti Yehova ndi Mulungu.
14 After this, Manasseh rebuilt the outer wall of the City of David from west of Gihon in the valley to the entrance of the Fish Gate, and he brought it around the hill of Ophel and heightened it considerably. He also stationed military commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.
Zitapita izi iye anamanga khoma la kunja kwa Mzinda wa Davide kumadzulo kwa kasupe wa Gihoni ku chigwa mpaka polowera ku Chipata cha Nsomba kuzungulira phiri la Ofeli. Iyeyo anakweza kwambiri khomalo. Anayikanso atsogoleri a nkhondo ku mizinda yonse yotetezedwa ya Yuda.
15 He removed the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the LORD, along with all the altars he had built on the temple mount and in Jerusalem, and he dumped them outside the city.
Iye anachotsa milungu yonse yachilendo ndi fano mʼNyumba ya Yehova komanso maguwa ansembe onse amene anamanga pa phiri la Nyumba ya Mulungu ndi mu Yerusalemu, nazitayira kunja kwa mzinda.
16 Then he restored the altar of the LORD and sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it, and he told Judah to serve the LORD, the God of Israel.
Kenaka anabwezeretsa guwa lansembe la Yehova ndi kupereka zopereka zachiyanjano ndiponso zopereka zamatamando ndipo anawuza Yuda kuti atumikire Yehova Mulungu wa Israeli.
17 Nevertheless, the people still sacrificed at the high places, but only to the LORD their God.
Komabe anthu anapitiriza kupereka nsembe ku malo achipembedzo, koma kwa Yehova, Mulungu wawo yekha.
18 As for the rest of the acts of Manasseh, along with his prayer to his God and the words of the seers who spoke to him in the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, they are indeed written in the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.
Zina ndi zina zokhudza ulamuliro wa Manase, kuphatikiza mapemphero ake kwa Mulungu wake ndi mawu amene alosi anayankhula kwa iye mʼdzina la Yehova Mulungu wa Israeli, zalembedwa mʼmabuku a mafumu a Israeli.
19 His prayer and how God received his plea, as well as all his sin and unfaithfulness, and the sites where he built high places and set up Asherah poles and idols before he humbled himself, they are indeed written in the Records of the Seers.
Pemphero lake ndi momwe Mulungu anakhudzidwira ndi kupempha kwakeko, pamodzinso ndi machimo ake onse ndi kusakhulupirika kwake, ndiponso malo onse amene anamanga, malo azipembedzo ndi mafano a Asera ndi mafano asanadzichepetse, zonse zalembedwa mʼmbiri ya alosi.
20 And Manasseh rested with his fathers and was buried at his palace. And his son Amon reigned in his place.
Manase anamwalira ndipo anayikidwa mʼmanda mʼnyumba yake yaufumu. Ndipo Amoni mwana wake analowa ufumu mʼmalo mwake.
21 Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem two years.
Amoni anali wa zaka 22 pamene anakhala mfumu ndipo analamulira mu Yerusalemu kwa zaka ziwiri.
22 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, as his father Manasseh had done. Amon served and sacrificed to all the idols that his father Manasseh had made,
Iye anachita zoyipa pamaso pa Yehova, monga anachitira Manase abambo ake. Amoni analambira ndi kupereka nsembe kwa mafano onse amene anapanga Manase.
23 but he did not humble himself before the LORD as his father Manasseh had done; instead, Amon increased his guilt.
Koma kusiyana ndi abambo ake Manase, iye sanadzichepetse pamaso pa Yehova. Amoni anawonjeza kulakwa kwake.
24 Then the servants of Amon conspired against him and killed him in his palace.
Akuluakulu a Amoni anamuchita chiwembu ndipo anamupha mʼnyumba yake yaufumu.
25 But the people of the land killed all those who had conspired against King Amon, and they made his son Josiah king in his place.
Koma anthu a mʼdzikomo anapha onse amene anakonzera chiwembu mfumu Amoni, ndipo anayika mwana wake Yosiya kukhala mfumu mʼmalo mwake.
