< 2 Kings 20 >

1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Set thy house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.
Ní ayé ìgbà wọ̀n-ọn-nì Hesekiah ṣe àìsàn ó sì wà ní ojú ikú. Wòlíì Isaiah ọmọ Amosi lọ sọ́dọ̀ rẹ̀ ó sì wí pé, “Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa sọ: tún ilé rẹ ṣe, ṣùgbọ́n ìwọ yóò kú; o kò ní í gbádùn.”
2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Jehovah, saying,
Hesekiah yí ojú rẹ̀ padà sí ògiri ó sì gbàdúrà sí Olúwa pé,
3 Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
“Rántí, Olúwa mi, bí èmi ṣe rìn níwájú rẹ àti pẹ̀lú bí èmi ṣe jẹ́ olóòtítọ́ àti pẹ̀lú gbogbo ọkàn ìfọkànsìn mi tí èmi sì ti ṣe ohun tí ó dára níwájú rẹ.” Hesekiah sọkún kíkorò.
4 And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,
Kí ó tó di wí pé Isaiah jáde kúrò ní àárín àgbàlá ààfin, ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa wá sí ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀ pé:
5 Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah.
“Lọ padà kí o sì sọ fún Hesekiah, olórí àwọn ènìyàn mi pé, ‘Èyí ni ohun tí Olúwa, Ọlọ́run baba rẹ Dafidi sọ: Mo ti gbọ́ àdúrà rẹ mo sì ti rí omijé rẹ, Èmi yóò wò ọ́ sàn. Ní ọjọ́ kẹta láti ìsinsin yìí, ìwọ yóò lọ sókè ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa.
6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.
Èmi yóò fi ọdún mẹ́ẹ̀ẹ́dógún kún ọjọ́ ayé rẹ. Èmi yóò sì gbà ọ́ àti ìlú ńlá yìí láti ọwọ́ ọba Asiria. Èmi yóò sì dáàbò bo ìlú yìí nítorí ti èmi tìkára mi àti nítorí ti Dafidi ìránṣẹ́ mi.’”
7 And Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
Nígbà náà ni Isaiah wí pé, “Mú odidi ọ̀pọ̀tọ́.” Wọ́n sì mú un, wọ́n sì fi lé oówo náà, ara rẹ̀ sì yá.
8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Jehovah will heal me, and that I shall go up unto the house of Jehovah the third day?
Hesekiah sì béèrè lọ́wọ́ Isaiah pé, “Kí ni yóò jẹ́ àmì pé Olúwa yóò wò mí sàn àti wí pé èmi yóò lọ sókè sí ilé tí a kọ́ fún Olúwa láti ọjọ́ kẹta títí di òní?”
9 And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?
Isaiah dáhùn pé, “Èyí ni àmì tí Olúwa fún ọ wí pé Olúwa yóò ṣe ohun tí ó ti ṣe ìlérí: kí òjìji lọ síwájú ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá, tàbí kí ó padà lọ ní ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá?”
10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.
“Ó jẹ́ ohun ìrọ̀rùn fún òjìji láti lọ síwájú ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá,” Hesekiah wí pé, “Bẹ́ẹ̀ kọ́, jẹ́ kí ó lọ padà ní ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá.”
11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto Jehovah; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.
Nígbà náà wòlíì Isaiah ké pe Olúwa, Olúwa sì ṣe òjìji padà sí ìgbésẹ̀ mẹ́wàá ó ti sọ̀kalẹ̀ ní òpópó ọ̀nà Ahasi.
12 At that time Berodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.
Ní àkókò náà ni Merodaki-Baladani ọmọ Baladani ọba Babeli ránṣẹ́ ìwé àti ẹ̀bùn sí Hesekiah nítorí tí ó ti gbọ́ nípa àìsàn Hesekiah.
13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.
Hesekiah gba ìránṣẹ́ náà ó sì fihàn wọ́n, gbogbo ohun tí ó wà nínú ilé ìṣúra—sílífà, àti wúrà, àti tùràrí, àti òróró dáradára àti ìhámọ́ra àti gbogbo èyí tí a rí lára ìṣúra rẹ̀. Kò sí nǹkan nínú ààfin rẹ̀ tàbí nínú gbogbo ìjọba rẹ̀ tí Hesekiah kò sì fihàn wọ́n.
14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.
Nígbà náà Isaiah wòlíì lọ sí ọ̀dọ̀ ọba Hesekiah ó sì béèrè pé, “Kí ni àwọn ọkùnrin náà sọ, àti níbo ni wọ́n ti ń bọ̀ wá?” “Láti ìlú jíjìn réré,” Hesekiah dáhùn. “Wọ́n wá láti Babeli.”
15 And he said, What have they seen in thy house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.
Wòlíì náà béèrè pé, “Kí ni wọ́n rí ní ààfin rẹ?” “Wọ́n rí gbogbo nǹkan ní ààfin mi,” Hesekiah wí pé. “Kò sí nǹkan kan lára àwọn ìṣúra tí èmi kò fihàn wọ́n.”
16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of Jehovah.
Nígbà náà Isaiah wí fún Hesekiah pé, “Gbọ́ ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa,
17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith Jehovah.
àkókò náà yóò sì dé nítòótọ́ nígbà tí gbogbo ohun tí ó wà ní ààfin àti gbogbo ohun tí baba rẹ̀ ti kó pamọ́ sókè títí di ọjọ́ òní, wọn yí ó gbe lọ sí Babeli, kò sí ohun tí yóò kù, ni Olúwa wí.
18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
Àti díẹ̀ nínú àwọn ìran rẹ, ẹran-ara rẹ àti ẹ̀jẹ̀, tí wọn yóò bí fún ọ, ni wọn yóò kó lọ, wọn yóò sì di ìwẹ̀fà ní ààfin ọba Babeli.”
19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of Jehovah which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, Is it not so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?
Hesekiah wí fún Isaiah pé. “Rere ni ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa tí ìwọ sọ.” Nítorí ó rò wí pé, “Kò ha dára àlàáfíà àti òtítọ́ ní ọjọ́ ayé mi?”
20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
Ní ti àwọn ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ tókù nípa ìjọba Hesekiah, gbogbo ohun tí ó ṣe tan àti bí ó ti ṣe adágún omi àti ọ̀nà omi náà nípa èyí tí ó gbé wá omi sínú ìlú ńlá, ṣé wọn kò kọ wọ́n sínú ìwé ìgbésẹ̀ ayé àwọn ọba àwọn Juda?
21 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers; and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.
Hesekiah sì sùn pẹ̀lú àwọn baba rẹ̀: Manase ọmọ rẹ̀ sì jẹ ọba ní ipò rẹ̀.
