< Psalms 19 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. The heavens declare the glory of God. The expanse shows his handiwork.
Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Salimo la Davide. Zakumwamba zimalengeza za ulemerero wa Mulungu; thambo limalalikira ntchito za manja ake.
2 Day after day they pour out speech, and night after night they display knowledge.
Tsiku ndi tsiku zimayankhula mawu ambiri, usiku ndi usiku zimaonetsa poyera nzeru.
3 There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
Palibe kuyankhula, palibe mawu aliwonse; liwu lawo silimveka.
4 Their voice has gone out through all the earth, their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun,
Koma uthenga wawo umapita pa dziko lonse lapansi, mawuwo amafika mpaka kumalekezero a dziko lapansi.
5 which is as a bridegroom coming out of his room, like a strong man rejoicing to run his course.
Dzuwa lili ngati mkwatibwi wobwera kuchokera ku nsanja yake, ngati katswiri wokondwerera kuthamanga pa mpikisano.
6 His going out is from the end of the heavens, his circuit to its ends. There is nothing hidden from its heat.
Limatuluka kuyambira mbali ina ya thambo ndi kuzungulira mpaka mbali inanso; palibe chinthu chotha kupewa kutentha kwake.
7 The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.
Lamulo la Yehova ndi langwiro, kutsitsimutsa moyo. Maumboni a Yehova ndi odalirika, amapereka nzeru kwa wopanda nzeru.
8 The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Malangizo a Yehova ndi olungama, amapereka chimwemwe mu mtima. Malamulo a Yehova ndi onyezimira, amapereka kuwala.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether.
Kuopa Yehova ndiye chinthu changwiro, chimakhala mpaka muyaya. Maweruzo a Yehova ndi owona ndipo onse ndi olungama;
10 They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb.
ndi a mtengowapatali kuposa golide, kuposa golide weniweni; ndi otsekemera kuposa uchi, kuposa uchi wochokera pa chisa chake.
11 Moreover your servant is warned by them. In keeping them there is great reward.
Mtumiki wanu amachenjezedwa nawo; powasunga pali mphotho yayikulu.
12 Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.
Ndani angathe kudziwa zolakwa zake? Mundikhululukire zolakwa zanga zobisika.
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.
Muteteze mtumiki wanunso ku machimo ochita akudziwa; iwo asandilamulire. Kotero ndidzakhala wosalakwa, wopanda mlandu wa tchimo lalikulu.
14 Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, LORD, my rock, and my redeemer.
Mawu a mʼkamwa mwanga ndi zolingalira za mu mtima mwanga zikhale zokondweretsa pamaso panu, Inu Yehova, Thanthwe langa ndi Mpulumutsi wanga.
