Galatians 6
1 Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted.
Irmãos, se algum homem chegar a ser surprehendido n'alguma offensa, vós, que sois espirituaes, encaminhae ao tal com espirito de mansidão; olhando por ti mesmo, para que não sejas tambem tentado.
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
Levae as cargas um dos outros, e assim cumprireis a lei de Christo.
3 For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
Porque, se alguem cuida ser alguma coisa, não sendo nada, engana-se a si mesmo.
4 But let each man examine his own work, and then he will have reason to boast in himself, and not in someone else.
Mas prove cada um a sua propria obra, e terá gloria só em si mesmo, e não n'outro.
5 For each man will bear his own burden.
Porque cada qual levará a sua propria carga.
6 But let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.
E o que é instruido na palavra reparta de todos os seus bens com aquelle que o instrue.
7 Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.
Não erreis: Deus não se deixa escarnecer; porque tudo o que o homem semear, isso tambem ceifará.
8 For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap consummate (aiōnios g166) life.
Porque o que semeia na sua carne, da carne ceifará a corrupção; mas o que semeia no Espirito, do Espirito ceifará a vida eterna. (aiōnios g166)
9 Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we do not give up.
E não nos cancemos de fazer bem, porque a seu tempo ceifaremos, se não houvermos desfallecido.
10 So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith.
De sorte que, emquanto temos tempo, façamos bem a todos, mas principalmente aos domesticos da fé.
11 See with what large letters I write to you with my own hand.
Vêde com que grandes lettras vos escrevi por minha mão.
12 As many as desire to make a good impression in the flesh compel you to be circumcised, just so they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ.
Todos os que querem mostrar boa apparencia na carne esses vos obrigam a circumcidar-vos, sómente para não serem perseguidos por causa da cruz de Christo.
13 For even they who receive circumcision do not keep the law themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, so that they may boast in your flesh.
Porque nem ainda esses mesmos que se circumcidam guardam a lei, mas querem que vos circumcideis, para se gloriarem na vossa carne.
14 But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
Mas longe esteja de mim gloriar-me, a não ser na cruz de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo, por quem o mundo está crucificado para mim e eu para o mundo.
15 For in Christ Jesus neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
Porque em Christo Jesus nem a circumcisão nem a incircumcisão tem virtude alguma, mas sim o ser uma nova creatura.
16 As many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God’s Israel.
E a todos quantos andarem conforme esta regra, paz e misericordia sobre elles e sobre o Israel de Deus.
17 From now on, let no one cause me any trouble, for I bear the marks of the Lord Jesus branded on my body.
Quanto ao mais, ninguem me seja molesto; porque trago no meu corpo as marcas do Senhor Jesus.
18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
A graça de nosso Senhor Jesus Christo seja, irmãos, com o vosso espirito. Amen.
