< Psalms 12 >
1 Help, Jehovah, for the holy man ceases, for the faithful fail from among the sons of men.
Tumulongka, O Yahweh, ta nagpukaw dagiti nadiosan; awanen dagiti napudno.
2 They speak falsehood everyone with his neighbor. With flattering lip, and with a double heart, they speak.
Agibagbaga ti tunggal maysa iti parbo a sasao iti kaarrubana; agsasao ti tunggal maysa nga addaan iti managpasablog a dila ken manangallilaw a puso.
3 Jehovah will cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that speaks great things,
O Yahweh, putdem dagiti amin a managpasablog a bibig, tunggal dila a mangipabpablaak iti nalabes a banbanag.
4 who have said, With our tongue will we prevail. Our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?
Dagitoy dagiti nagkuna, “Agballigikami babaen kadagiti dilami. No agsaokami, siasino ti makabael a mangituray kadakami?”
5 Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, now I will arise, says Jehovah. I will set him in the safety he gasps for.
Gapu iti kinaranggas a maibusor kadagiti napanglaw, gapu iti as-asug dagiti agkasapulan, bumangonakto,” kuna ni Yahweh. “Ipaaykonto ti kinatalged a kalkalikagumanda.”
6 The words of Jehovah are pure words, as silver tried in a furnace on the earth, purified seven times.
Nasin-aw dagiti sasao ni Yahweh, kasla pirak a napadalus iti naminpito iti maysa nga orno iti rabaw ti daga.
7 Thou will keep them, O Jehovah. Thou will preserve them from this generation forever.
Sika ni Yahweh! Salsalaknibam ida. Ay-aywanam dagiti nadiosan a tattao manipud iti daytoy nadangkes a kaputotan ken iti agnanayon.
8 The wicked walk on every side when vileness is exalted among the sons of men.
Magna dagiti nadangkes iti tunggal suli no maitan-ok ti kinadakes kadagiti annak dagiti tattao.
