Zacharia 9
1 De last van het woord des HEEREN over het land Chadrach en Damaskus, deszelfs rust; want de HEERE heeft een oog over den mens, gelijk over al de stammen Israels.
[the] oracle of [the] word of Yahweh [is] on [the] land of Hadrach and Damascus [is] resting place its for [is] to Yahweh [the] eye of humankind and all [the] tribes of Israel.
2 En ook zal Hij Hamath met dezelve bepalen; Tyrus en Sidon, hoewel zij zeer wijs is;
And also Hamath [which] it borders it Tyre and Sidon for it is wise exceedingly.
3 En Tyrus zich sterkten gebouwd heeft, en zilver verzameld heeft als stof, en fijn goud als slijk der straten;
And it built Tyre a fortification for itself and it heaped up silver like dust and gold like [the] mud of [the] streets.
4 Ziet, de HEERE zal haar uit het bezit stoten, en Hij zal haar vesting in de zee verslaan; en zij zal met vuur verteerd worden.
There! [the] Lord he will dispossess it and he will strike in the sea wealth its and it by fire it will be consumed.
5 Askelon zal het zien, en zal vrezen; desgelijks Gaza, en zal grote smart hebben, mitsgaders Ekron, dewijl hetgeen, waar zij op zagen, hen heeft te schande gemaakt; en de koning van Gaza zal vergaan, en Askelon zal niet bewoond worden.
It will see Ashkelon so it may be afraid and Gaza so it may be in anguish exceedingly and Ekron for it will be ashamed object of confidence its and he will perish a king from Gaza and Ashkelon not it will remain.
6 En de bastaard zal te Asdod wonen, en Ik zal den hoogmoed der Filistijnen uitroeien.
And it will dwell a mixed population in Ashdod and I will cut off [the] pride of [the] Philistines.
7 En Ik zal zijn bloed uit zijn mond wegdoen, en zijn verfoeiselen van tussen zijn tanden; alzo zal hij ook onzen God overblijven; ja, hij zal zijn als een vorst in Juda, en Ekron als de Jebusiet.
And I will remove blood its from mouth its and detestable things its from between teeth its and it will be left also it to God our and it will be like a chief in Judah and Ekron [will be] like a Jebusite.
8 En Ik zal Mij rondom Mijn huis legeren, vanwege het heirleger, vanwege den doorgaande, en vanwege den wederkerende, opdat de drijver niet meer door hen doorga; want nu heb Ik het met Mijn ogen aangezien.
And I will encamp for house my a guard from [one who] passes through and from [one who] returns and not he will pass over them again an oppressor for now I have seen with own eyes my.
9 Verheug u zeer, gij dochter Sions! juich, gij dochter Jeruzalems! Ziet, uw Koning zal u komen, rechtvaardig, en Hij is een Heiland; arm, en rijdende op een ezel, en op een veulen, een jong der ezelinnen.
Rejoice exceedingly O daughter of Zion shout for joy O daughter of Jerusalem there! king your he will come to you [is] righteous and victorious he poor and riding on a donkey and on a male donkey a young one of female donkeys.
10 En Ik zal de wagens uit Efraim uitroeien, en de paarden uit Jeruzalem; ook zal de strijdboog uitgeroeid worden, en Hij zal den heidenen vrede spreken; en Zijn heerschappij zal zijn van zee tot aan zee, en van de rivier tot aan de einden der aarde.
And I will cut off chariotry from Ephraim and horse[s] from Jerusalem and it will be cut off bow of war and he will speak peace to the nations and dominion his [will be] from sea to sea and from [the] river to [the] ends of [the] earth.
11 U ook aangaande, o Sion! door het bloed uws verbonds, heb Ik uw gebondenen uit den kuil, daar geen water in is, uitgelaten.
Also you by [the] blood of covenant your I will set free prisoners your from a pit [which] not water [is] in it.
12 Keert gijlieden weder tot de sterkte, gij gebondenen, die daar hoopt! ook heden verkondig Ik, dat Ik u dubbel zal wedergeven;
Return to [the] stronghold O prisoners of hope also this day [I am] declaring double I will restore to you.
13 Als Ik Mij Juda zal gespannen, en Ik Efraim den boog zal gevuld hebben; en Ik uw kinderen, o Sion! zal verwekt hebben tegen uw kinderen, o Griekenland! en u gesteld zal hebben als het zwaard van een held.
For I will bend for myself Judah a bow I will fill Ephraim and I will rouse sons your O Zion on sons your O Greece and I will make you like [the] sword of a warrior.
14 En de HEERE zal over henlieden verschijnen, en Zijn pijlen zullen uitvaren als een bliksem; en de Heere HEERE zal met de bazuin blazen, en Hij zal voorttreden met stormen uit het zuiden.
And Yahweh over them he will appear and it will go forth like lightning arrow his and [the] Lord Yahweh on the ram's horn he will give a blast and he will go in [the] storm winds of [the] south.
15 De HEERE der heirscharen zal hen beschutten, en zij zullen eten, nadat zij de slingerstenen zullen ten ondergebracht hebben; zij zullen ook drinken, en een gedruis maken als de wijn; en zij zullen vervuld worden, gelijk het bekken, gelijk de hoeken des altaars.
Yahweh of hosts he will defend them and they will eat and they will subdue stones of a sling and they will drink they will be in an uproar like wine and they will be full like bowl like [the] corners of [the] altar.
16 En de HEERE, hun God, zal ze te dien dage behouden, als zijnde de kudde Zijns volks; want gekroonde stenen zullen in Zijn land, als een banier, opgericht worden.
And he will deliver them Yahweh God their on the day that like [the] flock of people his for stones of a crown [will] display themselves on land his.
17 Want hoe groot zal zijn goed wezen en hoe groot zal zijn schoonheid wezen! Het koren zal de jongelingen, en de most zal de jonkvrouwen sprekende maken.
For how! [will be] goodness its and how! [will be] beauty its grain young men and new wine it will cause to thrive young women.
