Jeremia 23
1 Wee den herderen, die de schapen Mijner weide ombrengen en verstrooien! spreekt de HEERE.
Woe to! [the] shepherds [who] are causing to stray and [who are] scattering [the] flock of pasture my [the] utterance of Yahweh.
2 Daarom zegt de HEERE, de God Israels, alzo van de herderen, die Mijn volk weiden: Gijlieden hebt Mijn schapen verstrooid, en hebt ze verdreven, en hebt ze niet bezocht; ziet, Ik zal over u bezoeken de boosheid uwer handelingen, spreekt de HEERE.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel on the shepherds who are shepherding people my you you have scattered flock my and you have driven away them and not you have paid attention to them here I [am] about to visit on you [the] wickedness of deeds your [the] utterance of Yahweh.
3 En Ik zal het overblijfsel Mijner schapen Zelf vergaderen uit al de landen, waarhenen Ik ze verdreven heb; en Ik zal ze wederbrengen tot hun kooien, en zij zullen vruchtbaar zijn, en vermenigvuldigen.
And I I will gather together [the] remnant of flock my from all the lands where I have banished them there and I will bring back them to pasture their and they will be fruitful and they will increase.
4 En Ik zal herderen over hen verwekken, die ze weiden zullen; en zij zullen niet meer vrezen, noch verschrikt worden, noch gemist worden, spreekt de HEERE.
And I will raise up over them shepherds and they will shepherd them and not they will be afraid again and not they will be terrified and not they will be missing [the] utterance of Yahweh.
5 Ziet, de dagen komen, spreekt de HEERE, dat Ik aan David een rechtvaardige Spruit zal verwekken; Die zal Koning zijnde regeren, en voorspoedig zijn, en recht en gerechtigheid doen op de aarde.
Here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and I will raise up for David a branch righteous and he will reign a king and he will act prudently and he will do justice and righteousness in the land.
6 In Zijn dagen zal Juda verlost worden, en Israel zeker wonen; en dit zal Zijn naam zijn, waarmede men Hem zal noemen: De HEERE: ONZE GERECHTIGHEID.
In days his it will be saved Judah and Israel it will dwell to security and this [will be] name his which anyone will call him Yahweh - [is] righteousness our.
7 Daarom, ziet, de dagen komen, spreekt de HEERE, dat zij niet meer zullen zeggen: Zo waarachtig als de HEERE leeft, Die de kinderen Israels uit Egypteland heeft opgevoerd.
Therefore here! days [are] coming [the] utterance of Yahweh and not people will say again [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up [the] people of Israel from [the] land of Egypt.
8 Maar: Zo waarachtig als de HEERE leeft, Die het zaad van het huis Israels heeft opgevoerd, en Die het aangebracht heeft uit het land van het noorden, en uit al de landen, waarheen Ik ze gedreven had! want zij zullen wonen in hun land.
That except [by] [the] life of Yahweh who he brought up and who he brought [the] offspring of [the] house of Israel from a land north-ward and from all the lands where I banished them there and they will dwell on own land their.
9 Aangaande de profeten. Mijn hart wordt in mijn binnenste gebroken, al mijn beenderen bewegen zich; ik ben als een dronken man, en als een man, dien de wijn te boven gaat; vanwege den HEERE, en vanwege de woorden Zijner heiligheid.
Of the prophets it is broken heart my in inner being my they have become weak all bones my I have become like a person drunken and like a man [whom] it has passed over him wine because of Yahweh and because of [the] words of holiness his.
10 Want het land is vol overspelers, want het land treurt vanwege den vloek, de weiden der woestijn verdorren, omdat hun loop boos is, en hun macht niet recht.
For adulterers it is full the land for because of a curse it has dried up the land they have become dry [the] pastures of [the] wilderness and it has become course [of life] their evil and strength their [is] not right.
11 Want beiden profeten en priesters zijn huichelaars; zelfs in Mijn huis vind Ik hun boosheid, spreekt de HEERE.
For both prophet as well as priest they are polluted also in house my I have found wickedness their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
12 Daarom zal hun weg hun zijn als zeer gladde plaatsen in de donkerheid; zij zullen aangedreven worden en daarin vallen; want Ik zal een kwaad over hen brengen in het jaar hunner bezoeking, spreekt de HEERE.
Therefore it will become path their for them like slippery places in the darkness they will be pushed down and they will fall on it for I will bring on them calamity [the] year of punishment their [the] utterance of Yahweh.
13 Ik heb wel ongerijmdheid gezien in de profeten van Samaria, die door Baal, profeteerden, en Mijn volk Israel verleidden.
And among [the] prophets of Samaria I saw offensiveness they prophesied by Baal and they caused to err people my Israel.
14 Maar in de profeten van Jeruzalem zie Ik afschuwelijkheid; zij bedrijven overspel, en gaan om met valsheid, en sterken de handen der boosdoeners, opdat zij zich niet bekeren, een iegelijk van zijn boosheid; zij allen zijn Mij als Sodom, en haar inwoners als Gomorra.
And among [the] prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible [thing] they have committed adultery and they have walked in falsehood and they have strengthened [the] hands of evil-doers to not they have turned away anyone from evil his they have become to me all of them like Sodom and inhabitants its like Gomorrah.
15 Daarom zegt de HEERE der heirscharen van deze profeten alzo: Ziet, Ik zal hen met alsem spijzigen, en met gallewater drenken; want van Jeruzalems profeten is de huichelarij uitgegaan in het ganse land.
Therefore thus he says Yahweh of hosts on the prophets here I [am] about to make eat them wormwood and I will make drink them water of poison for from with [the] prophets of Jerusalem it has gone out wicked behavior to all the land.
16 Zo zegt de HEERE der heirscharen: Hoort niet naar de woorden der profeten, die u profeteren; zij maken u ijdel; zij spreken het gezicht huns harten, niet uit des HEEREN mond.
Thus he says Yahweh of hosts may not you listen to [the] words of the prophets who are prophesying to you [are] deluding they you [the] vision of own heart their they speak not from [the] mouth of Yahweh.
17 Zij zeggen steeds tot degenen, die Mij lasteren: De HEERE heeft het gesproken, gijlieden zult vrede hebben; en tot al wie naar zijns harten goeddunken wandelt, zeggen zij: Ulieden zal geen kwaad overkomen.
[they are] saying Continually to [those who] despise me he says Yahweh peace it will belong to you and every [one who] walks in [the] stubbornness of own heart his they have said not it will come on you calamity.
18 Want wie heeft in des HEEREN raad gestaan, en Zijn woord gezien of gehoord? Wie heeft Zijn woord aangemerkt en gehoord?
For who? has he stood in [the] council of Yahweh so he may see and he may hear word his who? has he paid attention to (word his *Q(K)*) and has he listened?
19 Ziet, een onweder des HEEREN, een grimmigheid is uitgegaan, ja, een pijnlijk onweder, het zal blijven op der goddelozen hoofd.
There! - [the] storm of Yahweh rage it has gone out and a storm whirling on [the] head of wicked [people] it will whirl about.
20 Des HEEREN toorn zal zich niet afwenden, totdat Hij zal hebben gedaan, en totdat Hij zal hebben daargesteld de gedachten Zijns harten; in het laatste der dagen zult gij met verstand daarop letten.
Not it will turn back [the] anger of Yahweh until has brought about he and until has carried out he [the] purposes of heart his at [the] end of the days you will understand it understanding.
21 Ik heb die profeten niet gezonden, nochtans hebben zij gelopen; Ik heb tot hen niet gesproken, nochtans hebben zij geprofeteerd.
Not I sent the prophets and they they ran not I spoke to them and they they prophesied.
22 Maar zo zij in Mijn raad hadden gestaan, zo zouden zij Mijn volk Mijn woorden hebben doen horen, en zouden hen afgekeerd hebben van hun bozen weg, en van de boosheid hunner handelingen.
And if they had stood in council my so they may cause to hear words my people my and they will turn back them from way their wicked and from [the] wickedness of deeds their.
23 Ben Ik een God van nabij, spreekt de HEERE, en niet een God van verre?
¿ A God from near [am] I [the] utterance of Yahweh and not a God from a distance.
24 Zou zich iemand in verborgene plaatsen kunnen verbergen, dat Ik hem niet zou zien? spreekt de HEERE; vervul Ik niet den hemel en de aarde? spreekt de HEERE.
Or? will he hide himself anyone in hiding places and I not I will see him [the] utterance of Yahweh ¿ not the heavens and the earth [am] I filling [the] utterance of Yahweh.
25 Ik heb gehoord, wat de profeten zeggen, die in Mijn Naam leugen profeteren, zeggende: Ik heb gedroomd, ik heb gedroomd.
I have heard [that] which they have said the prophets who prophesy in name my falsehood saying I have dreamed I have dreamed.
26 Hoe lang? Is er dan een droom in het hart der profeten, die de leugen profeteren? Ja, het zijn profeten van huns harten bedriegerij.
Until when? ¿ [is] there in [the] heart of the prophets [who] prophesy falsehood and [the] prophets of [the] deceitfulness of own heart their.
27 Die daar denken om Mijn volk Mijn Naam te doen vergeten, door hun dromen, die zij, een ieder zijn naaste, vertellen; gelijk als hun vaders Mijn Naam vergeten hebben door Baal.
Who plan to make forget people my name my by dreams their which they recount each to neighbor his just as they forgot ancestors their name my for Baal.
28 De profeet, bij welken een droom is, die vertelle den droom; en bij welken Mijn woord is, die spreke Mijn woord waarachtiglijk; wat heeft het stro met het koren te doen? spreekt de HEERE.
The prophet whom [is] with him a dream let him recount [the] dream and whom word my [is] with him let him speak word my faithfulness what? [belongs] to the straw with the grain [the] utterance of Yahweh.
29 Is Mijn woord niet alzo, als een vuur? spreekt de HEERE, en als een hamer, die een steenrots te morzel slaat?
¿ Not thus [is] word my like fire [the] utterance of Yahweh and like a hammer [which] it shatters rock.
30 Daarom, ziet, Ik wil aan de profeten, spreekt de HEERE, die Mijn woorden stelen, een ieder van zijn naaste;
Therefore here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh [who] steal words my each from with neighbor his.
31 Ziet, Ik wil aan de profeten, spreekt de HEERE, die hun tong nemen, en spreken: Hij heeft het gesproken;
Here I [am] on the prophets [the] utterance of Yahweh who take tongue their and they have uttered an utterance.
32 Ziet, Ik wil aan degenen, die valse dromen profeteren, spreekt de HEERE, en vertellen die, en verleiden Mijn volk met hun leugenen en met hun lichtvaardigheid; daar Ik hen niet gezonden, en hun niets bevolen heb, en zij dit volk gans geen nut doen, spreekt de HEERE.
Here I [am] on [those who] prophesy dreams of falsehood [the] utterance of Yahweh and they have recounted them and they caused to err people my by falsehoods their and by recklessness their and I not I sent them and not I appointed them and certainly not they benefit the people this [the] utterance of Yahweh.
33 Wanneer dan dit volk, of een profeet, of priester u vragen zal, zeggende: Wat is des HEEREN last? Zo zult gij tot hen zeggen: Wat last? Dat Ik ulieden verlaten zal, spreekt de HEERE.
And if it will ask you the people this or the prophet or a priest saying what? [is] [the] burden of Yahweh and you will say to them what? burden and I will abandon you [the] utterance of Yahweh.
34 En aangaande den profeet, of den priester, of het volk, dat zeggen zal: Des HEEREN last; dat Ik bezoeking zal doen over dien man en over zijn huis.
And the prophet and the priest and the people who he will say [the] burden of Yahweh and I will visit [judgment] on the person that and on house his.
35 Aldus zult gijlieden zeggen, een iegelijk tot zijn naaste, en een iegelijk tot zijn broeder: Wat heeft de HEERE geantwoord, en wat heeft de HEERE gesproken?
Thus you will say each to neighbor his and each to brother his what? did he answer Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
36 Maar des HEEREN last zult gij niet meer gedenken; want een iegelijk zal zijn eigen woord een last zijn, dewijl gij verkeert de woorden van den levenden God, den HEERE der heirscharen, onzen God.
And [the] burden of Yahweh not you will remember again for the burden it is for a person own word his and you change [the] words of God living Yahweh of hosts God our.
37 Aldus zult gij zeggen tot den profeet: Wat heeft u de HEERE geantwoord en wat heeft de HEERE gesproken?
Thus you will say to the prophet what? did he answer you Yahweh and what? did he say Yahweh.
38 Maar dewijl gij zegt: Des HEEREN last; daarom, zo zegt de HEERE: Omdat gij dit woord zegt: Des HEEREN last, daar Ik tot u gezonden heb, zeggende: Gij zult niet zeggen: Des HEEREN last;
And if [the] burden of Yahweh you will say therefore thus he says Yahweh because have spoken you the word this [the] burden of Yahweh and I sent to you saying not you must say [the] burden of Yahweh.
39 Daarom, ziet, Ik zal u ook ganselijk vergeten, en u, mitsgaders de stad, die Ik u en uw vaderen gegeven heb, van Mijn aangezicht laten varen.
Therefore here [am] I and I will surely you lift up and I will abandon you and the city which I gave to you and to ancestors your from on face my.
40 En Ik zal u eeuwige smaadheid aandoen, en eeuwige schande, die niet zal worden vergeten.
And I will put on you a reproach of perpetuity and shame of perpetuity which not it will be forgotten.
