1 Kuom jatend wer. Kaluwore gi gitith. Zaburi mar Yawuot Kora. Mano kaka hekalu mari ber miwuoro, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Maratego!
“To the chief musician upon Gittith, by the sons of Korach, a psalm.” How lovely are thy dwelling-places, O Lord of hosts!
2 Chunya gombo kendo njawni ka agombo bedo e od Jehova Nyasaye; Chunya gi denda duto wer gi mor ne Nyasaye mangima.
My soul desired, yea, it also longed for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh shout with joy unto the living God.
3 Nyaka winj oyundi oseloso kar dakne, kendo opija bende osegero ode, kama onyalo nywole nyithinde, but kendoni mar misango, yaye Jehova Nyasaye Maratego, ma Ruodha kendo Nyasacha.
Even as the sparrow hath found a house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young: —[have I found] thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
4 Ogwedh joma odak e odi; mosiko ka paki. (Sela)
Happy are they who dwell in thy house: they will be continually praising thee. (Selah)
5 Ogwedh joma tekregi ni kuomi jogo moketo chunygi e luwo yori maler.
Happy is the man whose strong confidence is in thee, [all] whose heart reflecteth on the paths [of righteousness].
6 Ka gikadho e Holo mar Baka to gimiyo obedo kama opongʼ gi sokni; kendo kodh opon bende pongʼe gi yewni.
Passing through the valley of weeping, they will change it into a spring: also the early rain covereth it with blessings.
7 Tekreni osiko medore ameda, nyaka chop moro ka moro kuomgi chop Sayun e nyim Nyasaye.
They go from strength to strength, each of them appeareth before God in Zion.
8 Yie iwinj lemona, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ma Nyasaye Maratego; chikna iti, yaye Nyasach Jakobo. (Sela)
O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
9 Tingʼ wangʼi ine okumbawa, yaye Nyasaye; rang ngʼati miwiro gi ngʼwono.
[Thou, ] our shield, behold, O God, and look upon the face of thy anointed.
10 Bet e laru mari kuom odiechiengʼ achiel ber moloyo bet kamachielo kuom higni alufu achiel; daher bedo jarit dhoot e od Nyasacha, moloyo dak e hembe joma timbegi richo.
For better is a day in thy courts than a thousand [elsewhere]: I would rather choose to wait at the threshold of the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
11 Nimar Jehova Nyasaye en chiengʼ kendo en okumba; Jehova Nyasaye chiwo ngʼwono gi duongʼ; ok otuon joma wuodhgi oriere tir gimoro amora maber.
For a sun and shield is the Lord God; grace and glory will the Lord give; he will not withhold any good from those that walk with integrity.
12 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye Maratego, ngʼama ogeno kuomi ogwedhi.
O Lord of hosts, happy is the man that trusteth in thee.
