1 Zaburi mar Daudi. Lemo mar kwayo kony. Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kik ikwera ka in gi mirima bende kik ikuma ka mirima mager omaki.
A PSALM OF DAVID. “TO CAUSE TO REMEMBER.” YHWH, do not reprove me in Your wrath, Nor discipline me in Your fury.
2 Nikech aserni magi osechwoya, kendo lweti osebet kuoma.
For Your arrows have come down on me, And You let down Your hand on me.
3 Mirimbi mager osemiyo ringra obedo maonge ngima maber; chokena ok winj maber nikech richona.
Soundness is not in my flesh, Because of Your indignation, Peace is not in my bones, Because of my sin.
4 Ketho ma asekethogo oima mana ka lodi mapek mohinga tingʼo.
For my iniquities have passed over my head, As a heavy burden—too heavy for me.
5 Adhondena otimo tutu kendo dungʼ marach nikech fupa mar timo richo.
Stunk—my wounds have become corrupt, Because of my folly.
6 Adolora kendo akulora piny chuth odiechiengʼ duto, awuotho koni gi koni, ka akuyo.
I have been bent down, I have been bowed down—to excess, I have gone mourning all the day.
7 Ondingʼa rama gi rem malich; ringra onge gi ngima maber.
For my flanks have been full of drought, And soundness is not in my flesh.
8 Denda ool kendo tekra orumo chuth; achur nikech chunya lit.
I have been feeble and struck—to excess, I have roared from disquietude of heart.
9 Gik ma chunya dwaro duto ongʼereni maber, yaye Jehova Nyasaye; chur ma achurgo ok opondoni.
Lord, all my desire [is] before You, And my sighing has not been hid from You.
10 Chunya gwecho, tekra orumo; wengena otimo mudho.
My heart [is] panting, my power has forsaken me, And the light of my eyes, Even they are not with me.
11 Osiepena gi anywolana ok dwar nena nikech adhondena; joma odak buta otangʼ koda.
My lovers and my friends stand aloof from before my plague. And my neighbors have stood far off.
12 Joma dwaro kawo ngimana ochiko obadhogi, joma dwaro hinya chano kaka ginyalo tieka chuth. Gichano miriambo odiechiengʼ duto.
And those seeking my soul lay a snare, And those seeking my evil Have spoken mischievous things, And they meditate [on] deceits all the day.
13 Achalo ngʼama ite odino, ma ok nyal winjo wach, mana ka momo ma ok nyal yawo dhoge;
And I, as deaf, do not hear. And as a mute one who does not open his mouth.
14 Achalo gi ngʼat ma ok winj wach, ma dhoge ok nyal dwoko wach.
Indeed, I am as a man who does not hear, And in his mouth are no reproofs.
15 To in ema ariti, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kendo angʼeyo ni ibiro dwoka, yaye Ruoth Nyasacha.
Because for You, O YHWH, I have waited, You answer, O Lord my God.
16 Nimar ne awacho niya, “Kik iyie mondo gisungrena, kata gigona siboi ni tienda okier.”
When I said, “Lest they rejoice over me, In the slipping of my foot they magnified themselves against me.”
17 Nimar achiegni podho, kendo rem ma an-go osiko koda.
For I am ready to halt, And my pain [is] continually before me.
18 Ahulo kethona; richona chando chunya.
For I declare my iniquity, I am sorry for my sin.
19 Wasika molwora ngʼeny; joma ochaya maonge gima omiyo thoth mokalo akwana.
And my enemies [are] lively, They have been strong, and those hating me without cause, Have been multiplied.
20 Joma chulo rach kuom ber ma asetimonegi kuodho nyinga ka an to alawo gima ber.
And those paying evil for good accuse me, Because of my pursuing good.
21 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, kik ijwangʼa; kik ibed mabor koda, yaye Nyasacha.
Do not forsake me, O YHWH, My God, do not be far from me,
22 Bi piyo mondo ikonya, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye kendo Jawarna.
Hurry to help me, O Lord, my salvation!
