< Zaburi 33 >
1 Weruru gimor ni Jehova Nyasaye, un joma kare; en gima owinjore mondo joma kare opake.
Shout for joy, ye righteous, in Yahweh, To the upright, seemly is praise.
2 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye gi nyatiti; werneuru wer mamit gi nyatiti.
Give ye thanks unto Yahweh with the lyre, With a harp of ten strings, make ye music unto him.
3 Werneuru wer manyien; werneuru kugoyone nyiduonge kendo weruru gi ilo.
Sing unto him, a song that is new, With skill, sweep the strings, with loud noise.
4 Wach Jehova Nyasaye nikare kendo en adier; en ja-adiera e gik moko duto motimo.
For right is the word of Yahweh, and, all his work, is in faithfulness:
5 Jehova Nyasaye ohero tim makare kod ratiro; piny duto opongʼ gi herane ma ok rem.
Who loveth righteousness and justice, With the lovingkindness of Yahweh, the earth is full.
6 Polo ne ochwe kuom wach Jehova Nyasaye, i dwe gi nyinyo duto nochweyo gi much dhoge.
By the word of Yahweh, the heavens were made, and, by the spirit of his mouth, all their host:
7 Ochoko pige mag nembe madongo e tawo; oketo kut e dere.
Who gathered as into a skin-bottle the waters of the sea, Delivering, into treasuries, the roaring deeps.
8 Piny duto mondo oluor Jehova Nyasaye; ji duto manie e piny mondo okulrene.
Let all the earth, stand in awe of Yahweh, Of him, be in dread, all ye inhabitants of the world;
9 Nikech ne owuoyo mi piny nobetie, nogolo chik mi ochungʼ mongirore.
For, he, spake, and it was, He, commanded, and it stood forth.
10 Jehova Nyasaye ketho chenro duto mag pinje; othiro dwaro ma ogendini nigo.
Yahweh, hath frustrated the counsel of nations, hath brought to nothing the devices of peoples.
11 To chenro duto mag Jehova Nyasaye to siko kochungʼ nyaka chiengʼ; ochopo dwaro duto manie chunye e tienge duto.
The counsel of Yahweh, to times age-abiding, shall stand, The devices of his heart, from generation to generation.
12 Piny ma ogeno Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasache ogwedhi, nikech gin oganda mane oyiero kaka girkeni mare.
How happy the nation whose God is, Yahweh, The people he hath chosen as his own inheritance!
13 Jehova Nyasaye rango piny gie polo kendo oneno dhano duto;
Out of the heavens, hath Yahweh looked, He hath seen all the sons of men:
14 ongʼiyo ji duto modak e piny gie kar dakne e polo,
Out of his settled place of abode, hath he fixed his gaze on all the inhabitants of the earth:
15 en ema ne ochweyo chunje ji duto, kendo onono gik moko duto ma gitimo.
Who fashioneth their heart all together, Who understandeth all their doings.
16 Onge ruoth minyalo reso nikech en gi jolweny mangʼeny; bende onge jakedo manyalo tony nikech tekone ngʼeny.
Not a king, can be saved by greatness of force, nor, hero, deliver himself by greatness of strength:
17 Geno yudo resruok kuom faras en gima nono kata obedo ni en giteko mangʼeny to ok onyal reso ngʼato.
A deception, is the horse, for victory, and, by his great strength, shall he not deliver.
18 To wangʼ Jehova Nyasaye neno jogo momiye luor, orango joma geno margi ni kuom herane ma ok rem,
Lo! the eye of Yahweh, is toward them who revere him, unto such as are waiting for his lovingkindness:
19 mondo oresgi e tho kendo oritgi gibed mangima e ndalo mag kech.
To rescue, from death, their soul, and to keep them alive in famine.
20 Warito Jehova Nyasaye gi geno; en e konyruokwa kendo okumbawa.
Our own soul, hath waited for Yahweh, Our help and our shield, is he!
21 Chunywa mor kuome, nikech wageno kuom nyinge maler.
For, in him, shall our heart rejoice, For, in his holy Name, have we trusted.
22 Mad herani ma ok rum osik kuomwa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mana kaka waketo genowa kuomi.
Be thy lovingkindness, O Yahweh, upon us, According as we have waited for thee.
