1 Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye! Mano kaka en gima ber wero wende pak ne Nyasachwa, mano kaka en gima longʼo kendo mowinjore mondo ji opake!
Halleluyah ·praise Yah·, for it is good to sing tehilahot ·praise songs· to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to make zahmar ·musical praise· unto him.
2 Jehova Nyasaye gero Jerusalem kendo; ochoko jo-Israel mane otwe.
Adonai builds up Jerusalem [City of peace]. He gathers together the outcasts of Israel [God prevails].
3 Ochango joma chunygi tuo kendo othiedho adhondegi.
He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
4 Osekwano kendo ongʼeyo kar romb sulwe duto kendo oluongo moro ka moro kuomgi gi nyinge.
He counts the number of the stars. He calls them all by their names.
5 Ruodhwa duongʼ kendo en gi teko kendo nyalo; ngʼeyone onge gikone.
Great is our Lord, and mighty in power. His understanding is infinite.
6 Jehova Nyasaye tingʼo joma obolore malo to joma timbegi richo to ochwado piny e lowo.
Adonai upholds the humble. He brings the wicked down to the ground.
7 Weruru ne Jehova Nyasaye kugoyone erokamano, weruru wer mamit ne Nyasachwa kugoyo nyatiti.
Sing to Adonai with thanksgiving. Sing zahmar ·musical praise· on the harp to our God,
8 Oumo kor polo gi boche polo, kendo oromo piny gi koth, bende omiyo lum twi ewi thuche.
who covers the sky with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass grow on the mountains.
9 Ochiwo chiemo ne dhok kendo ne agege ka giywakne.
He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.
10 Morne ok ni kuom teko farase kata kuom ogwand dhano;
He does not delight in the strength of the horse. He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.
11 to Jehova Nyasaye mor gi joma omiye luor; joma oketo genogi kuom herane ma ok rem.
Adonai takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his cheshed ·loving-kindness·.
12 Dhial Jehova Nyasaye, yaye Jerusalem; pak Nyasachi, yaye Sayun.
Praise Adonai, Jerusalem [City of peace]! Praise your God, Zion [Mountain ridge, Marking]!
13 Omedo sirni manie dhorangeyeni teko, kendo ogwedho jogi modak e iyi.
For he has strengthened the bars of your gates. He has blessed your children within you.
14 Omiyo kwe bedo e tongʼ pinyu kendo oromou gi ngano mabeyoe mogik.
He makes peace in your borders. He fills you with the finest of the wheat.
15 Ooro chikne e piny, kendo wachne ringo matek ka diemo wangʼ.
He sends his word out over the earth. His word runs very swiftly.
16 Oyaro pe ka yie rombo kendo okeyo ongʼwengʼo ka buru.
He gives snow like wool, and scatters frost like ashes.
17 Odiro pe mage e piny ka kit ombo. En ngʼa manyalo ngino sa ma odiro pe kamano?
He hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who can stand before his cold?
18 Ooro wachne kendo pego leny nono; ee, otugo yembene mi pego lokre pi mamol.
He sends out his word, and melts them. He causes his wind to blow, and the waters flow.
19 Osenyiso Jakobo wachne, ee, osenyiso Israel chikene gi buchene.
He shows his word to Jacob [Supplanter]; his statutes and his judgments to Israel [God prevails].
20 Onge oganda moro machielo mosetimone kamano kendo gin ok gingʼeyo chikene. Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye!
He has not done this for just any nation. They don’t know his judgments. Halleluyah ·praise Yah·!
