< Zaburi 108 >
1 Wer. Zaburi mar Daudi. Chunya ochungʼ mongirore, yaye Nyasaye; abiro paki gi wer kendo abiro loso mamit gi chunya duto.
A Song, a Melody: David’s. Fixed, is my heart, O God, I will sing and touch the strings, even mine honour.
2 Chiewuru, un orutu gi nyatiti! Abiro chiewo kogwen.
Awake, O harp and lyre, I will awaken the dawn!
3 Abiro paki e dier ogendini, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, abiro werni e dier ogendini.
I will thank thee among the peoples, O Yahweh, and will sing praise unto thee, among the tribes of men.
4 Nikech herani maduongʼ chopo nyaka e polo; kendo adiera mari chopo nyaka ewi lwasi.
For, great, above the heavens, is thy lovingkindness, and, as far as the skies, thy faithfulness.
5 Nyingi mondo otingʼ malo moyombo polo, yaye Nyasaye, mad duongʼ mari opongʼ piny duto.
Be thou exalted above the heavens, O God, And, above all the earth, be thy glory.
6 Reswa kendo konywa gi lweti ma korachwich, mondo joma ihero ogol e chandruok.
To the end thy beloved ones may be delivered, Oh save thou with thy right hand and answer me!
7 Nyasaye osewuoyo gie kare maler kowacho niya, “Abiro pogo Shekem ne ji, kendo abiro pimo ne ji Holo mar Sukoth.
God, hath spoken in his holiness, I will exult! I will apportion Shechem! And, the Vale of Succoth, will I measure out;
8 Gilead en mara, Manase bende mara, Efraim en oguta mar lweny, to Juda en osimbona mar loch.
Mine, is Gilead—mine, Manasseh, but, Ephraim, is the defence of my head, Judah, is my commander’s staff;
9 Moab en besen mara mar luok, to Edom e kama amoe wuochena; Filistia ema akoke ka aseloyo lweny.”
Moab, is my wash-bowl, Upon Edom, will I throw my shoe, Over Philistia, raise a shout of triumph.
10 En ngʼa mabiro kela e dala maduongʼ mochiel motegno? En ngʼa mabiro telona nyaka Edom?
Who will conduct me to a fortified city? Who will lead me as far as Edom?
11 Donge in ema isedagiwa, yaye Nyasaye, kendo tinde ok idhi gi jolwenjwa e lweny?
Hast not thou, O God, rejected us? and wilt not go forth, O God, with our hosts.
12 Miwa kony mondo walo wasikwa, nikech kony mar dhano onge tich.
Grant us help out of distress, for, vain, is the deliverance of man:
13 Wabiro loyo lweny ka Nyasaye nikodwa, kendo obiro nyono wasikwa piny.
In God, shall we do valiantly, He himself, therefore, shall tread down our adversaries.
