< Zaburi 107 >
1 Gouru erokamano ne Jehova Nyasaye, nimar ober; herane osiko nyaka chiengʼ.
BOOK FIFTH: Oh give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for unto eternity endureth his kindness.
2 Joma owar mag Jehova Nyasaye mondo owach kama joma ne owaro e lwet jasigu,
Thus let the Lord's redeemed say, even those whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the adversary;
3 mane ochoko kogolo e pinje, kochakore wuok chiengʼ gi podho chiengʼ, nyaka nyandwat gi milambo.
And whom he hath gathered out of the [various] lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the sea.
4 Joge moko nobayo abaya e thim motwo nikech ne gionge yo mar chopo e dala mane ginyalo dakie gi kwe.
They wandered about in the wilderness, in the desert path; they could not find an inhabited city:
5 Ne gidenyo kendo riyo noloyogi, chunygi noa.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul within them fainted.
6 Eka ne giywakne Jehova Nyasaye mondo okonygi e chandruokgino mi noresogi e pekgino.
Then they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, [and] out of their afflictions he delivered them.
7 Ne otelonegi e yo moriere tir, nyaka negichopo e dala, mane ginyalo dakie.
And he led them forth on the right way, that they might go to an inhabited city.
8 Onego gigo ne Jehova Nyasaye erokamano kuom herane ma ok rem kendo kuom timbene miwuoro, motimo ne ji,
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
9 nimar otieko riyo mar joma riyo oloyo kendo omiyo joma odenyo yiengʼ gi gik mabeyo.
For he satisfied the longing soul, and the hungry soul he filled with good.—
10 Moko kuomgi nobet e mudho, kendo e tipo mar tho, ne gin joma thagore motwe gi nyoroche mag chuma,
Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, bound in misery and [fetters of] iron; —
11 nimar ne gingʼanyo giweyo weche Nyasaye kendo ne gichayo rieko mar Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo.
Because they have rebelled against the words of God, and have contemned the counsel of the Most High;
12 Omiyo noketogi gi tich matek mohewogi mine gigore piny kendo onge ngʼama ne nyalo konyogi.
And he humbled with trouble their heart; they stumbled, and there was none to help;
13 Eka ne giywakne Jehova Nyasaye mondo okonygi e chandruokgino, mi noresogi e pekgino.
But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions;
14 Nogologi e mudho kendo e tipo mar tho kendo noturo nyoroche mane otuegigo.
He bringeth them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and teareth their bands asunder.
15 Onego gigo ne Jehova Nyasaye erokamano kuom herane ma ok rem, kendo kuom timbene miwuoro motimo ne ji,
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
16 nimar omuko rangeye mag mula, kendo ongʼado lodi mag nyinyo.
For he hath broken the doors of copper, and the bolts of iron hath he hewn asunder.—
17 Moko kuomgi nobedo joma ofuwo nikech yoregi mobam kendo negineno thagruok nikech timbegi mamono.
Fools, because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
18 Dhogi ne rach ma ok ginyal chamo chiemo moro amora, kendo ne gichiegni tho.
All manner of food their soul abhorreth; and they draw near unto the gates of death;
19 Eka ne giywakne Jehova Nyasaye mondo okonygi e chandruokgino mi noresogi e pekgino.
But when they cry unto the Lord when they are in distress, he saveth them out of their afflictions.
20 Ne ooro wachne mi nochangogi kendo noresogi e lak tho.
He sendeth his word and healeth them, and delivereth them from their graves.
21 Onego gigo ne Jehova Nyasaye erokamano kuom herane ma ok rem kendo kuom timbene miwuoro motimo ne ji.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
22 Onego gichiwne misango mar goyo erokamano kendo ginyis kuom gik mosetimo ka giwer gi mor.
They shall also sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and relate his deeds with joyful song.—
23 Moko kuomgi nodhi kwangʼ e nam gi meli; ne gin jo-ohala ma yoro nembe madongo dongo.
They who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters; —
24 Negineno tije Jehova Nyasaye, negineno tijene malich miwuoro manie kude.
These have seen the works of the Lord, and his wonders on the deep.
25 Nimar ne owuoyo, mi notugo ahiti mangʼongo ma nomiyo apaka ogingore.
For he spoke, and he raised the stormy wind, which lifteth up its waves.
26 Apaka nodirogi malo e kor yamo, kendo nonyumogi kuonde matut mogik; mi chir mane gin-go noleny nono kane ginie masira ma kamano.
They would mount up to heaven, they would go down to the depths: their soul was melted because of their danger.
27 Ne gipuore kendo gitagore ka joma omer; kendo pachgi nolalnegi.
They would reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and all their wisdom was exhausted.
28 Eka ne giywakne Jehova Nyasaye mondo okonygi e chandruokgino mi noresogi e pekgino;
And they cried unto the Lord when they were in distress, and he brought them out of their afflictions.
29 ne okweyo ahiti mobet mos; kendo apaka nolingʼ thi.
He calmed the storm into a whisper, and stilled were the waves of the sea.
30 Negidoko mamor ka nam nokwe, kendo notelonegi nyaka negichopo e dho wath maber, kama negidwaro chopoe.
And they were rejoiced because they were silent: and then he guided them unto their desired haven.
31 Onego gigo ne Jehova Nyasaye erokamano kuom herane ma ok rem kendo kuom timbene miwuoro motimo ne ji.
They [therefore] shall give thanks unto the Lord for his kindness, and [proclaim] his wonders to the children of men!
32 Onego gitingʼ nyinge malo e chokruok mar joge kendo gidende e buch jodongo.
And they must exalt him in the congregation of the people, and in the assembly of the elders must they praise him.—
33 Ne omiyo aore olokore kuonde motwo, sokni mamol nolokore ongoro,
He changeth rivers into a wilderness, and water-springs into parched ground;
34 kendo lowo manyak maber nodoko lowo motimo chumbi, maonge tich nikech timbe mamono mag joma nodak kuondego.
A fruitful land into a salty waste, for the wickedness of those that dwell therein.
35 To bende nomiyo piny ongoro odoko yewni mag pi, kendo lowo motwo nolokore sokni mamol;
He changeth the wilderness into a pool of water, and desert land into water-springs.
36 nokelo joma odenyo mondo odag kuondego, kendo negigero dala kama neginyalo dakie.
And there he causeth to dwell the hungry, that they may found an inhabited city;
37 Ne gipuro puothe kendo ne gipidho puothe mzabibu, mane ochiego cham maber;
And they sow fields, and plant vineyards, that they may yield the fruits of the [annual] product.
38 ne ogwedhogi, kendo negidoko ji mangʼeny ahinya, bende ne ok oyie mondo jambgi odog piny.
He also blesseth them, and they multiply greatly, and he suffereth not their cattle to diminish.
39 Bangʼe achien kwan-gi nodok matin kendo ne odwokgi piny nikech sand gi masiche kod kuyo;
They were also diminished and bowed low through oppression, misfortune, and sorrow:
40 Jal ma olo mirimbe kuom ruodhi nomiyo gibayo koni gi koni e thim.
He [then] poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in a pathless wilderness.
41 To jochan to noreso e thagruokgi, kendo nomiyo joutegi onya ka rombe.
And he exalteth the needy from misery, and maketh [his] families like flocks.
42 Joma kare neno kendo gidoko mamor; To joma timbegi richo dhogi moko.
The righteous shall see it, and rejoice; but all wickedness shall stop her mouth.
43 Ngʼama riek mondo omak wechegi maber, kendo opar matut kuom (hera) maduongʼ mar Jehova Nyasaye.
Whoever is wise, let him observe these things, and let [all] understand the kindness of the Lord.
