< Mathayo 25 >

1 “E kindeno pinyruodh polo nopim gi nyiri apar manokawo techegi bangʼe owuok odhi romo ne wuon kisera.
Then may the kingdom of heaven be shadowed forth by ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom and bride.
2 Abich kuomgi nofuwo, to abich ne riek.
And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 Mago mofuwo nokawo techegi to ne ok gitingʼo mafuta kata matin gidhigo.
And the foolish took their lamps, but took no oil with them.
4 To mago mariek to notingʼo mafuta e kubni kaachiel gi techegi.
But the wise took oil in vessels, with their lamps.
5 Wuon Kisera nokawo sa mathoth kapok obiro, omiyo wengegi nobedo mapek kargi duto mi nindo noterogi.
And while the bridegroom delayed, they all became sleepy and fell asleep.
6 “To e chuny otieno koko moro nogore matek ni, ‘Wuon kisera eri odonjo! Wuoguru oko mondo uromne!’
And at midnight there was an outcry: Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 “Eka nyiri duto nochiew kendo negiiko techegi.
Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 Nyiri mofuwo nowachone mago mariek ni, ‘Pognwauru mafuta matin, nikech techewa dwa tho.’
And the foolish said to the wise; Give us of your oil; for, behold, our lamps have gone out.
9 “To negikwerogi ni, ‘Ooyo, sa moro mafuta ma wan-go ok nyal romowa kaachiel kodu. Gima ber en ni dhiuru ir joma uso mafuta mondo ungʼiew maru kuomgi.’
The wise answered and said: We must refuse, lest there should not be enough for us and for you: but go ye to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 “To kane oyudo gin e yo gidhi ngʼiewo mafuta, wuon kisera nochopo. Nyiri mane oikore nodonjo kode e nyasi mar arus; kendo nolor dhoot.
And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready, went with him into the house of the nuptials, and the door was shut.
11 “Bangʼe achien nyiri mamokoka bende nobiro. Ne gidwongʼo kagiwacho ni, ‘Ruoth, Ruoth, yawnwa dhoot!’
And at length came also the other virgins, and said: Our lord, our lord, open to us.
12 “To nodwokogi ni, ‘Awachonu adier ni akiau.’
But he answered, and said to them: Verily I say to you, I know you not.
13 “Emomiyo beduru motangʼ, nikech ok ungʼeyo odiechiengʼ kata sa.
Watch, therefore, seeing ye know not the day nor the hour.
14 “Loch Polo nobed machal gi ngʼat moro ma kane owuok odhi e wuoth to noluongo jotichne mi oketo mwandune e lwetgi.
For, as a man that took a journey, called his servants and delivered to them his property;
15 Achiel kuomgi nomiyo pesa moromo talanta abich, to machielo nomiyo talanta ariyo, kendo machielo talanta achiel; komiyo moro ka moro kuomgi pesa maromre gi nyalone. Eka nodhi e wuodhe.
to one he gave five talents; to another, two; and to another, one: to each, according to his ability: and he immediately departed.
16 Ngʼama nomi talanta abich nodhi sano sano moketo pesane e tich, kendo noyudo talanta abich mamoko kaka ohande.
Then he that received five talents, went and traded with them, and gained five more.
17 Kamano bende, ngʼat mane omi talanta ariyo noyudo ariyo ewi mane omiye.
And likewise: the one of two talents, by trading gained two more.
18 To ngʼat mane oyudo talanta achiel nowuok odhi mokunyo bur ei lowo, kendo oyiko pesa ruodhe kanyo.
But he that received one, went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.
19 “Bangʼ kinde marabora ruodh jotijgo noduogo kendo nogoyo kodgi kwano.
And after a long time, the lord of those servants came, and received account from them.
20 Ngʼat mane nigi talanta abich nokelo talanta abich mamoko ewi mane omiye, kendo nowachone ruodhe ni, ‘Ruoth, ne imiya talanta abich, to neye, aseloso abich mamoko e wiye.’
And he who had received the five talents, came and brought five others; and said, My lord, thou gavest me five talents; behold, I have gained by trading five more to them.
21 “Ruodhe nodwoke ni, ‘Isetimo maber ahinya. In jatich maber kendo ma ja-adiera! Isebedo ja-adiera gi gik matin nono omiyo koro abiro keti jarit gik mangʼeny. Bi idonji e mor mar ruodhi!’
His lord said to him: Well done! good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful with a little; I will set thee over much: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 “Ngʼat mane nigi talanta ariyo bende nobiro, mowacho ni, ‘Ruodh, ne imiya talanta ariyo, to neye, aseloso ariyo mamoko.’
And he of the two talents came, and said: My lord, thou gavest me two talents; behold, I have by trading gained two more to them.
23 “Ruodhe nodwoke ni, ‘Isetimo maber ahinya. In jatich maber kendo ma ja-adiera! Isebedo ja-adiera gi gik matin nono, omiyo koro abiro keti jarit gik mangʼeny. Bi idonji e mor mar ruodhi!’
His lord said to him: Well done! good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful with a little; I will set thee over much: enter thou into the Joy of thy lord.
And he also that received the one talent, came and said: My lord, I knew thee, that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hast not sowed, and gathering where thou hast not scattered;
25 Omiyo ne aluor mine adhi kendo ne apando talanta-ni ei lowo. Girino eri kawe.’
and I was afraid, and I went and hid thy talent in the earth. Behold, thou hast what is thine.
26 “To ruodhe nodwoke ni, ‘In jatich ma kite rach kendo ma jasamuoyoni. Kare ne ingʼeyo ni akeyo kama ne ok akome kendo ni achoko kama ne ok aludoe kodhi?
His lord answered, and said to him: Wicked and slothful servant! Thou knewest me, that I reap where I have not sowed, and gather where I have not scattered!
27 Ka kamano to mad ne iket pesana e od keno kama nonyalo medoree kende, mondo kane aduogo to ayude gi ohande.
Thou oughtest to have cast my money into the exchange; and I might have come and demanded my property with its interest.
28 “‘Omiyo mayeuru talanta-no mondo umi jalno man-gi talanta apar.
Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that hath ten talents.
29 Nimar ngʼat man-go nomedne mi nobed gi gik mogundho; to ngʼat ma ongego kata mano ma en-go nomaye.
For, to him that hath, shall be given, and he shall have more; but from him that hath not, even what he hath shall be taken away.
30 Koro kawuru jatich manonono udhir oko e mudho, kama ywagruok gi mwodo lak nobedie.’
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness: there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
31 “Ka Wuod Dhano nobi e duongʼne, kaachiel gi malaike duto, enobed e kom lochne, man-gi duongʼ mar polo.
And when the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all his holy angels with him, then will he sit upon the throne of his glory.
32 Joma ok jo-Yahudi duto nochokre e nyime, kendo enopog ji, kopogo ngʼato ka ngʼato gi wadgi, mana kaka jakwath pogo rombe kogolo e dier diek.
And before him will be gathered all nations; and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd severeth the sheep from the goats.
33 Enoket rombe e bade korachwich, to diek e bade koracham.
And he will place the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on his left.
34 “Eka Ruoth nowach ne joma ni e bade korachwich ni, ‘Biuru, un joma ogwedhi mag Wuora; kawuru girkeni maru, pinyruoth mane oiknu nyaka aa chwech piny.
Then will the king say to those on his right hand: Come, ye blessed of my Father; inherit the kingdom that was prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
35 Nimar ne adenyo to ne umiya gimoro achamo; riyo noloya, to ne umiya gimoro amodho; ne an wendo; kendo nurwaka ei ot;
For I was hungry, and ye gave me food; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me home;
36 ne achando lewni, kendo ne urwaka; ne atuo kendo ne urita; ne an e od twech, kendo ne ubiro lima.’
I was naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.
37 “Eka joma karego nodwoke ni, ‘Ruoth, karangʼo mane wanenie kidenyo mi wamiyi chiemo, kata ka riyo oloyi, mi wamiyi gimoro imodho?
Then will the righteous say to him: Our Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 Karangʼo mane wanenie ka in wendo mi warwaki ei ot, kata kichando lewni mi warwaki?
And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee home? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Karangʼo mane waneni ka ituo kata ka in e od twech mi walimi?’
And when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came to thee?
40 “To Ruoth nodwokgi ni, ‘Awachonu adier ni, gimoro amora mane utimo ne achiel kuom owetenagi matinie mogik, ne utimona.’
And the king will answer, and say to them: Verily I Say to you, That inasmuch as ye did so to one of these my little brothers, ye did so to me.
41 “Eka enowachne joma ni e bade koracham ni, ‘Auru buta, un joma okwongʼ-gi, mondo udonji ei mach manyaka chiengʼ mane olosi ne Jachien gi malaikege. (aiōnios g166)
Then will he say also to them on his left hand: Go from me, ye accursed, into everlasting fire, which was prepared for the Calumniator and his angels, (aiōnios g166)
42 Nimar ne adenyo, to onge gima numiya mondo acham; riyo noloya, to onge gima numiya mondo amodhi;
For I was hungry, and ye gave me no food; and I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink;
43 ne an wendo, to ne ok urwaka ei ot; ne achando lewni, to ne ok urwaka; ne atuo kendo ne an e od twech, to ne ok ulima?’
and I was a stranger, and ye took me not home; and I was naked, and ye clothed me not; and I was sick and in prison, and ye did not visit me.
44 “To gin bende ginidwok ni, ‘Ruoth, ne waneni karangʼo kidenyo, kata ka riyo oloyi, kata ka in wendo, kata kichando lewni, kata kituo, kata ka in e od twech, to ne ok wakonyi?’
Then will they also answer and say: Our Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee?
45 “To enodwokgi ni, ‘Awachonu adier ni, gimoro amora mane ok utimo ne achiel kuom jomatindogi, ne ok utimo ne an.’
Then will he answer, and say to them: Verily I say to you, That in as much as ye did not so to one of these little ones, ye did not so to me.
46 “Eka gini aa kanyo mi gidonji e kum mochwere, to joma kare e ngima mochwere.” (aiōnios g166)
And these will go into everlasting torment, and the righteous into everlasting life. (aiōnios g166)
