< Ywagruok 3 >

1 An e ngʼat moseneno masira mane ayudo koa e lwet Jehova Nyasaye.
I, am the man, that hath seen affliction, by the rod of his indignation;
2 Oseriemba mabor kendo miyo awuotho e mudho kar wuotho e ler;
Me, hath he driven out and brought into darkness, and not light;
3 chutho osekuma kinde ka kinde ndalo duto.
Surely, against me, doth he again and again, turn his hand all the day.
4 Osemiyo denda odoko mool kendo chokena osetur.
He hath worn out my flesh and my skin, hath broken my bones;
5 Osegoyona agengʼa kendo lwora komiya abedo gi chuny malit kod olo.
He hath built up against me, and carried round me, fortifications and a trench;
6 Osemiyo adak ei mudho kaka jogo mane osetho chon.
In dark places, hath he made me sit, like the dead of age-past times.
7 Osechiela gi ohinga ma ok anyal ringo madhi; kendo oseketa piny kotweya gi nyororo.
He hath walled up around me, that I cannot get out, hath weighted my fetter;
8 Kata ka aluongo kata kaywak ka dwaro kony, to ogengʼo lamona.
Yea, when I make outcry and implore, he hath shut out my prayer;
9 Osedino yora gohinga moger gi kidi; omiyo awuotho e yore mobam.
He hath walled in my ways with hewn stone, my paths, hath he caused to wind back.
10 Mana kaka ondieg bungu mobuto karito, kata ka sibuor mopondo,
A bear lying in wait, he is to me, a lion, in secret places;
11 e kaka noywaya oko e yo mokidha kendo oweya maonge kaka dakonyra.
My ways, hath he turned aside, and hath torn me in pieces, hath made me desolate;
12 Noywayo atungʼe kendo oketa thoro mar aserni mage.
He hath trodden his bow, and set me up, as a mark for the arrow.
13 Nochwoyo chunya gi aserene mowuodho e olalo mare.
He hath caused to enter my reins, the sons of his quiver;
14 Nabedo ngʼat ma ji duto nyiero, ne gijara gi wer pile ka pile.
I have become a derision to all my people, their song all the day;
15 Osepongʼo chunya gi gik makech kod olo.
He hath sated me with bitter things, hath drenched me with wormwood.
16 Oseturo lekena gi kite mimuodo kendo osenyona piny e buru.
And he hath crushed, with gravel-stones, my teeth, hath made me cower in ashes;
17 Osemaya kwe; kendo wiya osewil kod mor ma yande an godo.
And thou hast thrust away from welfare, my soul, I have forgotten prosperity;
18 Emomiyo awacho niya, “Chia mara oserumo kod gigo mane ageno kuom Jehova Nyasaye.”
And I said, Vanished is mine endurance, even mine expectation, from Yahweh.
19 Aparo chandruokna, wuodhena ma ok nikare, kaachiel gi lit gi kuyo.
Remember my humiliation and my fleeings, the wormwood and poison;
20 Aparogi maber, kendo an kod kuyo e chunya.
Thou wilt, indeed remember, that, bowed down concerning myself, is my soul;
21 To gima bende aparo mamiyo abedo gi geno ema:
This, will I bring back to my heart, therefore, will I hope.
22 Nikech hera maduongʼ mar Jehova Nyasaye osiko mochwere, kendo ngʼwonone ok rum omiyo ok otiekwa.
The lovingkindnesses of Yahweh, verily they are not exhausted, Verily! not at an end, are his compassions:
23 Herani gi ngʼwononi nyien okinyi kokinyi, kendo adiera mari duongʼ.
New things for the mornings! Abundant is thy faithfulness:
24 Abiro wacho kenda niya, “Jehova Nyasaye e pokna, omiyo abiro geno kuome.”
My portion, is Yahweh, saith my soul, For this cause, will I wait for him.
25 Jehova Nyasaye ber ne jogo ma genogi ni kuome, kendo ne ngʼatno madware,
Good is Yahweh, to them who wait for him, to the soul that will seek him;
26 en gima ber rito warruok mar Jehova Nyasaye.
Good it is—both to wait and to be silent, for the deliverance of Yahweh;
27 Ber mondo ngʼato otingʼ jok kapod en ngʼama tin.
Good it is for a man, that he should bear the yoke in his youth.
28 We obed kar kende owuon kolingʼ, nimar Jehova Nyasaye osetweyone jokno.
Let him sit alone, and keep silence, because he took it upon himself:
29 We oik wiye ei buru, dipoka pod en gi geno.
Let him put, in the dust, his mouth, peradventure, there is hope!
30 We ochiw lembe ne ngʼatno ma digoye kendo oyie bedo ngʼat ma ji jaro,
Let him give, to him that smiteth him, his cheek, let him be sated with reproach.
31 nikech Ruoth Nyasaye ok nyal jwangʼo ngʼato nyaka chiengʼ.
Surely My Lord, will not cast off, unto times age-abiding;
32 Kata obedo ni okelo kuyo, to obiro nyiso ngʼwono, nikech herane ma ok rum duongʼ ahinya,
Surely, though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion, according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses;
33 nimar Nyasaye ok kel chandruok goyiem, kata mana kuyo ni nyithind ji.
Surely he hath not afflicted from his heart, nor caused sorrow to the sons of men.
34 Donge Jehova Nyasaye neno kisando ji duto manie twech,
To crush, under his feet, any of the prisoners of the earth;
35 kata kitamo ngʼato e ratiro mare e nyim Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo,
To turn aside the right of a man, before the face of the Most High;
36 kata ka iketho buch ngʼato, donge Ruoth Nyasaye neno gik ma kamago?
To oppress a son of earth in his cause, My Lord, hath made no provision.
37 En ngʼa manyalo wuoyo kendo miyo gimoro timre ka ok en Ruoth Nyasaye ema owacho?
Who was it that spake, and it was done, [when], My Lord, had not commanded?
38 Donge masiche kod ber wuok mana koa kuom Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo?
Out of the mouth of the Most High, Proceed there not misfortunes and blessing?
39 Ere gima omiyo ngʼato angʼata mangima ngʼur ka okume nikech richoge?
Why should a living son of earth complain, [Let] a man [complain] because of his sins?
40 Weuru wanon timbewa kendo wapar ane kaka gichalo, eka wadog ir Jehova Nyasaye.
Let us search out our ways, and examine them well, and let us return unto Yahweh;
41 Wachiwuru chunywa kendo watingʼ bedewa malo e nyim Nyasaye manie polo, kawawacho niya,
Let us lift up our heart, to the opened palms, to the Mighty One in the heavens;
42 Wasetimo richo kendo ngʼanyo, to ok iseweyonwa.
We, have trespassed and rebelled, Thou, hast not pardoned.
43 Iselawowa ka in gi mirima; mi inegowa ka ok idewo.
Thou hast covered thyself with anger, and pursued us, hast slain—hast not spared;
44 Iseumori gi boche polo mondo lemo moro amora kik chop iri.
Thou hast screened thyself with the clouds, that prayer, should not pass through;
45 Isemiyo wabedo ka yugi kendo ka owuoyo e kind ogendini.
Offscouring and refuse, dost thou make us, in the midst of the peoples.
46 “Wasikwa duto wuoyo kuomwa marach gi ajara.
With their mouth, opened wide over us, [stand] all our foes.
47 Luoro gi obadho ritowa kendo kethruok gi masira ochomowa.”
Terror and a pit, have befallen us, tumult and grievous injury;
48 Pi wangʼa mol ka aora nikech joga osenegi.
With streams of water, mine eye runneth down, over the grievous injury of the daughter of my people.
49 Pi wangʼa biro chwer ma ok chogi, maonge ngʼama konyo,
Mine eye, poureth itself out and ceaseth not, without relief;
50 nyaka chop Jehova Nyasaye nokul wangʼe piny ma onena gie polo.
Until Yahweh out of the heavens shall look forth, and see,
51 Gima aneno miyo chunya kuyo nikech gik matimore ne mon duto mar dalawa maduongʼ.
Mine eye dealeth severely with my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
52 Jogo mane wasika kayiem nono nomanya ka winyo.
They, have laid snares, for me as a bird, who are mine enemies without cause:
53 Negitemo mondo gitiek ngimana ka giluta ei bur; kendo negibaya gi kite;
They have cut off, in the dungeon, my life, and have cast a stone upon me;
54 pi noima mine aparo ni achiegni tho.
Waters, flowed over, my head, I said, I am cut off!
55 Naluongo nyingi, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, ka an ei bur matut.
I have called upon thy Name, O Yahweh, out of the dungeon below;
56 Kane akwayi ni mondo ikonya to ne iwinjo ywakna.
My voice, thou hast heard, —do not close thine ear to my respite, to mine outcry;
57 Nibiro machiegni kane aluongi kendo ne iwachona niya, “Kik iluor ngangʼ.”
Thou drewest near, in the day I kept calling on thee, thou saidst, Do not fear!
58 Yaye Ruoth Nyasaye ne itingʼo tingʼna, kendo ne ireso ngimana.
Thou hast pleaded, O My Lord, the pleas of my soul, hast redeemed my life;
59 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, iseneno, rach mosetimna, ngʼad bucha kare!
Thou hast beheld, O Yahweh, my failure to get justice, Pronounce thou my sentence;
60 Iseneno kaka ne gichulona kuor, kod timbe mamono mane gichano timona.
Thou hast seen all their vindictiveness, all their plots against me.
61 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, isewinjo ayany mag-gi, kaachiel gi timbe mamono ma gichano timona,
Thou hast heard their reproach, O Yahweh, all their plots against me;
62 ma gin gigo ma joma wasika wacho kuoma kendo kuodhago lingʼ-lingʼ odiechiengʼ duto.
The lips of mine assailants, and their mutterings, are against me, all the day;
63 Koro negie nikech kata gibedo piny kata chungo to nyinga ema giwuoyoe kokalo kuom wendegi.
On their downsitting and their uprising, do thou look, I, am their song.
64 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, migi kum moromo gi timbegi kaluwore gi gik ma lwetgi osetimo.
Thou wilt render to them a recompense, O Yahweh, according to the work of their hands;
65 Mi gibed gi chuny matek kendo mad kwongʼ mari obed kuomgi.
Thou wilt suffer them a veiling of heart, thy curse to them;
66 Yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mad ilawgi gi mirima, kendo itiekgi gia e piny mane ichweyo.
Thou wilt pursue in anger, and wilt destroy them, from under the heavens of Yahweh.
