Joshua 19

1 Pok mar ariyo nobiro ne dhood Simeon, kaluwore gi anywola margi. Girkeni margi ne nitiere e piny jo-Juda.

And the second lot came out, for Simeon, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families, —and their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Judah.

2 Notingʼo: Bersheba (kata Sheba), Molada,

And they had for their inheritance, —Beer-sheba or Sheba, and Moladah,

3 Hazar Shual, Bala, Ezem,

and Hazar-shual, and Balah, and Ezem,

4 Eltolad, Bethul, Horma,

and Eltolad and Bethul, and Hormah,

5 Ziklag, Beth Makaboth, Hazar Shusa,

and Ziklag and Beth-marcaboth, and Hazar-susah,

6 Beth Lebaoth kod Sharuhen. Giduto ne gin mier kod gwenge maromo apar gadek.

and Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen, —thirteen cities, with their villages:

7 Mier mamoko ne gin: Ain, Rimon, Ether kod Ashan. Giduto ne gin mier kod gwenge maromo angʼwen,

Ain, Rimmon, and Ether and Ashan, —four cities, with their villages,

8 ka ok okwan mier matindo mokiewo kodgi mochopo nyaka Baalath Beer (ma bende iluongo ni Rama e piny Negev). Magi e mier mane opog ne dhood Simeon kaluwore gi anywolagi.

and all the villages that were round about these cities, as far as Baalath-beer, Ramah of the South. This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Simeon, by their families:

9 Girkeni mar dhood Simeon nopognegi koa kuom pok mar jo-Juda, nikech pok mar Juda ne duongʼ mohewogi. Omiyo dhood Simeon noyudo pok margi koa e piny Juda.

Out of the portion of the sons of Judah, is the inheritance of the sons of Simeon, —for it came to pass that what was allotted to the sons of Judah, was too much for them, therefore did the sons of Simeon receive an inheritance in the midst of their inheritance.

10 Pok mar adek ne mar dhood Zebulun kaluwore anywolagi. Tongʼ mar pok margi nochopo nyaka Sarid.

Then came up the third lot, for the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —and the boundary of their inheritance was as far as Sarid.

11 Koa yo podho chiengʼ nochiko Marala mochopo nyaka Dabesheth, kendo oyarore kochomo holo matut mantiere but Jokneam.

And their boundary goeth up westward, even towards Maralah, and toucheth Dabbesheth, —and reacheth unto the ravine that faceth Jokneam;

12 Nogomo kochiko yo wuok chiengʼ koa Sarid nyaka e piny Kisloth Tabor kendo odhi nyime nyaka Daberath mi ogik Jafia.

and turneth back from Sarid, eastward, toward the rising of the sun, upon the boundary of Chisloth-tabor, —and goeth out unto Daberath, and ascendeth Japhia;

13 Bangʼe nodhi nyime gi yo wuok chiengʼ nyaka Gath Hefer kod Eth Kazin; bangʼe nowuok oko e Rimon mi ogomo yo Nea.

and, from thence, it passed along in front on the east, towards Gath-hepher, towards Eth-kazin, —and goeth out at Rimmon which turneth about towards Neah;

14 Bangʼ Nea, tongʼno nochomo yo nyandwat mochopo nyaka Hanathon bangʼe to ogik e holo mar Ifta El.

and the boundary goeth round it, on the north to Hannathon, —and so the extensions thereof are the valley of Iphtah-el;

15 Pinyno notingʼo Katath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idala kod Bethlehem. Giduto ne gin mier kod gwenge apar gariyo.

and Kattath and Nahalal, and Shimron, and Idalah and Beth-lehem, —twelve cities, with their villages.

16 Magi e mier matindo kod gwenge mane opog ne dhood Zebulun kaluwore gi anywolagi.

This, is the inheritance of the sons of Zebulun, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.

17 Pok mar angʼwen nomi dhood Isakar kaluwore gi anywola margi.

For Issachar, came out the fourth lot, —for the sons of Issachar, by their families.

18 Pinyni notingʼo: Jezreel, Kesuloth, Shunem,

And their boundary was, —Jezreel and Chesulloth, and Shunem,

19 Hafaraim, Shion, Anaharath,

and Hapharaim and Shion, and Anaharath,

20 Rabith, Kishion, Ebez,

and Rabbith and Kishion, and Ebez,

21 Remeth, En Ganim, En Hada kod Beth Pazez.

and Remeth, and En-gannim, and Enhaddah, and Beth-pazzez;

22 Tongʼ pinyno nochopo nyaka Tabor, Shahazuma gi Beth Shemesh, mi ogik nyaka aora Jordan. Giduto ne gin mier kod gwenge apar gauchiel.

and the boundary toucheth Tabor and Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and so the extensions of their boundary are to the Jordan, —sixteen cities, with their villages.

23 Magi e mier matindo kod gwenge mane opog ne dhood Isakar kaluwore gi anywolagi.

This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Issachar, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.

24 Pok mar abich nomi dhoot Asher kaluwore gi anywolagi.

Then came out the fifth lot, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families.

25 Pinygi nopogi kama: Helkath, Hali, Beten, Akshaf,

And their boundary was, —Helkath and Hali, and Beten and Achshaph,

26 Alamelek, Amad kod Mishal. To yo podho chiengʼ, tongʼ-gi nochopo Karmel gi Shihor Libnath.

and Allam-melech and Amad, and Mishal, —and it toucheth Carmel to the west, and Shihor-libnath;

27 Bangʼe tongʼno nochomo yo wuok chiengʼ mochopo nyaka Beth Dagon koluwo Zebulun gi Holo mar Ifta El, kochomo yo nyandwat nyaka Beth Emek gi Neyel kokalo e bath Kabul.

and it turneth toward sun-rise—to Beth-dagon, and toucheth Zebulun and the valley of Iphtah-el northward, and Beth-emek, and Neiel; and goeth out unto Cabul, on the left,

28 Nodhi nyaka Abdon, Rehob, Hamon kod Kana, mochopo nyaka Sidon Maduongʼ.

and Ebron and Rehob, and Hammon and Kanah, —as far as Zidon the populous;

29 Bangʼe nodwok tongʼno chien nyaka Rama modhi nyaka e dala maduongʼ mar Turo mochiel gohinga, mogomo kochiko Hosa koluwo dho nam e gwengʼ mar Akzib,

and the boundary turneth to Ramah, and as far as the city of the fortress of Tyre, —then the boundary turneth to Hosah, and so the extensions thereof are, on the west, from Hebel to Achzib;

30 Uma, Afek kod Rehob. Giduto ne gin mier matindo kod gwenge piero ariyo gariyo.

Ummah also and Aphek, and Rehob, —twenty-two cities, with their villages,

31 Magi e mier matindo kod gwenge mane opog ne dhood Asher kaluwore gi anywolagi.

This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Asher, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.

32 Pok mar auchiel nomi dhood Naftali, kaluwore gi anywolagi.

For the sons of Naphtali, came out the sixth lot, —for the sons of Naphtali, by their families.

33 Tongʼ-gi nochakore Helef modhi nyaka kar yien maduongʼ man Zananim, koluwo Adami Nekeb gi Jabnel mochopo Lakum kendo gikone ne en aora Jordan.

And their boundary was from Heleph, from the terebinth of Bezaannim, and Adami-nekeb, and Jabneel, as far as Lakkum; and so the extensions thereof were to the Jordan;

34 Tongʼno noluwo yo podho chiengʼ kokadho Aznoth Tabor kendo owuok Hukok. Gi yo milambo tongʼno nokiewo gi Zebulun, to yo podho chiengʼ nokiewo gi Asher; to yo wuok chiengʼ nokiewo gi aora Jordan.

and the boundary turneth westward, to Aznoth-tabor, and goeth out from thence, toward Hukkok, —and toucheth Zebulun on the south, and, Asher, it toucheth on the west, and Judah, at the Jordan towards sunrise.

35 Mier mane ochiel gohinga ne gin: Zidin, Zer, Hamath, Rakath, Kinereth,

And, the fortified cities, are, —Ziddim, Zer, and Hammath, Rakkath and Chinnereth,

36 Adama, Rama, Hazor,

and Adamah and Ramah, and Hazor,

37 Kedesh, Edrei, En Hazor,

and Kedesh and Edrei, and En-hazor,

38 Iron, Migdal El, Horem, Beth Anath kod Beth Shemesh. Giduto ne gin mier matindo kod gwenge apar gochiko.

and Iron and Migdal-el, Horem and Beth-anath, and Beth-shemesh, —nineteen cities, with their villages.

39 Magi e mier matindo kod gwenge mane opog ne dhood Naftali, kaluwore gi anywolagi.

This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, by their families, —the cities, with their villages.

40 Pok mar abiriyo nomi dhood Dan, kaluwore gi anywola margi.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, came out the seventh lot.

41 Kuonde mane opog-gi ne gin: Zora, Eshtaol, Ir Shemesh,

And the boundary of their inheritance was, —Zorah and Eshtaol, and Ir-shemesh,

42 Shalabin, Aijalon, Ithla,

and Shaalabbin and Aijalon, and Ithlah,

43 Elon, Timna, Ekron,

and Elon and Timnah, and Ekron,

44 Elteke, Gibethon, Baalath,

and Eltekeh and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

45 Jehud, Bene Berak, Gath Rimon,

and Jehud and Beneberak, and Gath-rimmon,

46 Me Jarkon kod Rakon, to gi kama omanyore gi Jopa.

and Me-jarkon, and Rakkon, —with the boundary over against Joppa.

47 To dhood Dan ne nigi pek kuom kawo pok mar pinygi, omiyo negidhi ma gimonjo Leshem mi gikawe, bangʼe ginegogi gi ligangla. Negidak Leshem kendo ma gichake ni Dan mane en kwargi.

And, when the boundary of the sons of Dan went out beyond these, then went up the sons of Dan and fought against Leshem, and captured it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and took possession thereof, and dwelt therein, and they called Leshem—Dan, after the name of Dan their father,

This, is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Dan, by their families, —these cities, with their villages.

49 Kane gisetieko pogo pinyno e migepe ka migepe, jo-Israel nomiyo Joshua wuod Nun pok e diergi,

When they had made an end of distributing the land by the boundaries thereof, then gave the sons of Israel an inheritance unto Joshua son of Nun, in their midst:

50 mana kaka Jehova Nyasaye nosechiko. Negimiye dalano mane okwayogi, ma en, Timnath Sera manie piny Efraim. Kuom mano, nogero dala kanyo modakie.

at the bidding of Yahweh, gave they unto him the city which he asked, even Timnath-serah, in the hill country of Ephraim, —and he built the city and dwelt therein.

51 Magi e pok mane Eliazar jadolo, Joshua wuod Nun kod jotelo mag dhout Israel nopogo lowo gombulu ka gin Shilo e nyim Jehova Nyasaye e dhoranga Hemb Romo. Omiyo negitieko pogo pinyno.

These, are the inheritances which Eleazar the priest and Joshua son of Nun and the ancestral heads distributed for inheritance to the tribes of the sons of Israel, by lot, in Shiloh, before Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, —so they made an end of apportioning the land.
