< 1 Jo-Korintho 12 >

1 Jowetena, daher mondo ungʼe adiera kuom mich mag Roho mondo kik ubed maonge ngʼeyo.
And concerning spirituals, my brethren, I would have you know,
2 Ungʼeyo ni kane pod un jopiny, makia Nyasaye, to ne chalo nine oywau gi nyiseche manono ma ok wuo mi ulal.
that ye have been pagans; and have been, without distinction, led away after idols, in which there is no speech.
3 Omiyo, adwaro mondo ungʼe ni ngʼama Roho mar Nyasaye otelone ok nyal wacho niya, “Okwongʼ Yesu” to bende onge ngʼama nyalo wacho niya, “Yesu en Ruoth” ka ok Roho Maler ema otelone.
I therefore inform you, that there is no man, that speaketh by the Spirit of God, who saith that Jesus is accursed: neither can a man say that Jesus is the Lord, except by the Holy Spirit.
4 Nitie mich mag Roho mopogore opogore, to Roho achiel ema chiwogi.
Now there are diversities of gifts; but the Spirit is one.
5 Nitie tije mopogore opogore, to Ruoth achiel ema itiyone.
And there are diversities of ministrations; but the Lord is one.
And there are diversities of energies; but God, who worketh all in all men, is one.
And to each man, there is given a manifestation of the Spirit, that it may aid him.
8 Ngʼat moro Roho omiyo nyalo mar wuoyo gi rieko, ngʼat machielo Rohono omiyo tiend ngʼeyo weche matut.
To one, by the Spirit, there is given a word of wisdom; and to another, by the same Spirit, there is given a word of knowledge:
9 Ngʼato Rohono miyo yie, to ngʼat machielo omiyo mich mar chango ji;
to another, by the same Spirit, faith: to another, by the same Spirit, gifts of healing:
10 ngʼat moro omiyo teko mar timo honni, moro omiyo teko mar hulo weche moa kuom Nyasaye, moro omiyo rieko mar fwenyo ma lingʼ-lingʼ mag chunje mopogore opogore, moro omiyo nyalo mar wuoyo gi dhok mayore, eka ngʼat moro to omiyo mich mar loko dhok mayoreyore.
and to another, miracles: and to another, prophecy: and to another, the discerning of spirits: and to another, divers kinds of tongues: and to another, the interpretation of tongues.
But all these, worketh that one Spirit; and he distributeth to every one as he pleaseth.
12 Kata obedo ni ringre dhano en achiel, to en gi fuonde mathoth, to bende kata obedo ni en gi fuonde mathoth, pod en mana ringruok achiel. Ma e kaka Kristo bende chalo.
For as the body is one, and in it are many members; and all those members of the body, though many, are one body; so also is the Messiah.
13 Kamano bende e kaka wan duto, bed ni wan jo-Yahudi kata jo-Yunani, kata wasumbini, kata joma ni thuolo, nobatiswa kuom Roho achielnogo mi wadoko ringruok achiel, kendo osemiwa Roho achielno mondo wamodhi waduto.
For all of us, likewise, by one Spirit, have been baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether slaves or free; and all of us have drinked in one Spirit.
14 Nikech ringruok ok olos gi fuoni achiel, to olose gi fuonde mangʼeny.
For a body also, is not one member, but many.
15 Ka dipo ni tielo nyalo wacho niya, “Kaka ok an lwedo, ok an achiel kuom fuonde ringruok,” to mano ok nyal mone bedo achiel kuom fuonde ringruok.
For if the foot should say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it, on that account, not of the body?
16 Kata, ka it nyalo wacho niya, “Kaka ok an wangʼ, ok an achiel kuom fuonde ringruok,” to mano ok nyal mone bedo achiel kuom fuonde ringruok.
Or if the ear should say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it, on that account, not of the body?
Kata ka dine ringruok duto bed mana it kende, ere kaka dongʼwe gik moko?
And if the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? Or if it were all hearing, where would be the smelling?
18 To kata kamano, Nyasaye noketo fuoni ka fuoni e ringruok mana kaka ne odwaro ni mondo gibedi.
But now hath God placed every one of the members in the body, according to his pleasure.
19 Kane bed ni gin fuon achiel, to ringruok dibed nadi?
And if they were all one member, where would be the body?
But now they are many members, yet but one body.
21 Kuom mano wangʼ ok nyal wachone lwedo niya, “Ok adwari!” Kata wich bende ok nyal wachone tielo niya, “Ok adwari.”
The eye cannot say to the hand, Thou art not needful to me: nor can the head say to the feet, Ye are not needful to me.
But rather, those members which are accounted feeble, are indispensable.
23 Fuonde matindo wamiyo rit mamalo moloyo, kendo fuonde ma wakawo ni richo warwako maber moloyo.
And those which we think dishonorable in the body, on them we heap more honor; and those that are uncomely, on them we put the more decoration.
24 Fuonde mabeyo moloyo, to ok dwar rit ma kamano. Nyasaye owuon oseriwo fuonde mopogore opogore moloso ringruok, kendo osemiyo fuonde mwachayo duongʼ,
For the honorable members in us, have no need of honor: for God hath tempered the body, and given more honor to the member which is inferior;
25 mondo kik winjruok bed maonge e ringruok; to mondo fuon ka fuon orit nyawadgi kaka dwarore.
that there might be no disunion in the body, but that all the members, equally, might care for one another;
26 Ka fuon achiel mar ringruok winjo lit, to fuonde ringruok mamoko duto winjo kode; ka fuon moro yudo pak, to mamoko duto bende bedo mamor kaachiel kode.
so that, when one member is in pain, they will all sympathize; and if one member is exalted, all the members will be exalted.
Now ye are the body of Messiah, and members in your place.
28 To ei kanisa, Nyasaye oseketo ji man-gi mich mopogore opogore e tichne: Mokwongo, joote, mar ariyo, jonabi, to mar adek, jopuonj, eka joma timo honni, kaeto joma omi teko mar chango joma tuo, kod jokony ji, kod joma otelo ni ji, to mogik, joma wuoyo gi dhok mayoreyore.
For God hath placed in his church, first, legates; after them, prophets; after them, teachers; after them, workers of miracles; after them, the gifts of healing, and helpers, and leaders, and various kinds of tongues.
29 Bende ji duto gin joote? Bende ji duto gin jonabi? Bende ji duto gin jopuonj? Bende ji duto timo honni?
Are they all legates? Are they all prophets? Are they all teachers? Are they all workers of miracles?
30 Bende ji duto nigi mich mar chango joma tuo? Bende ji duto wuoyo gi dhok mayoreyore? Bende ji duto nyalo loko tiend weche joma wuoyo gi dhok mayoreyore?
Have all of them the gifts of healing? Do they all speak with tongues? Or do they all interpret?
31 Owinjore uket chunyu kuom mich madongo. Koro abiro nyisou yo moro maber moloyo.
And if ye are emulous of the superior gifts, on the other hand, I show to you a better way.
