2 Mosebog 40
1 Og HERREN talede til Moses og sagde:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Paa den første Dag i den første Maaned skal du rejse Aabenbaringsteltets Bolig.
“On the first day of the first month Nissan ·Miracles (in Aramaic), 1· you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
3 Sæt saa Vidnesbyrdets Ark derind og hæng Forhænget op for Arken.
You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
4 Og du skal bringe Bordet ind og ordne, hvad dertil hører, og bringe Lysestagen ind og sætte Lamperne paa.
You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the menorah ·lamp·, and light its menorah ·lamp· candles.
5 Stil Guldalteret til Røgelsen op foran Vidnesbyrdets Ark og hæng Forhænget op foran Boligens Indgang.
You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Stil Brændofferalteret op foran Indgangen til Aabenbaringsteltets Bolig
“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
7 og stil Vandkummen op mellem Aabenbaringsteltet og Alteret og hæld Vand deri.
You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.
8 Rejs Forgaarden rundt om og hæng Forhænget op foran Forgaardens Indgang.
You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
9 Tag Salveolien og salv Boligen og alle Ting deri, og du skal hellige den med alt dens Tilbehør, saa den bliver hellig.
“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.
10 Du skal salve Brændofferalteret og alt dets Tilbehør og hellige Alteret, saa det bliver højhelligt.
You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its utensils, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.
11 Og du skal salve Vandkummen og Fodstykket og hellige den.
You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.
12 Lad saa Aron og hans Sønner træde hen til Aabenbaringsteltets Indgang, tvæt dem med Vand
“You shall bring Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.
13 og ifør Aron de hellige Klæder, salv og hellig ham til at gøre Præstetjeneste for mig.
You shall put on Aaron [Light-bringer] the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
14 Lad saa hans Sønner træde frem, ifør dem Kjortler
You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.
15 og salv dem, som du salver deres Fader, til at gøre Præstetjeneste for mig. Saaledes skal det ske, for at et evigt Præstedømme kan blive dem til Del fra Slægt til Slægt i Kraft af denne Salvning, som du foretager paa dem.
You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 Og Moses gjorde ganske som HERREN havde paalagt ham; saaledes gjorde han.
Moses [Drawn out] did so. According to all that Adonai enjoined him, so he did.
17 Paa den første Dag i den første Maaned i det andet Aar blev Boligen rejst.
In the first month Nissan ·Miracles (in Aramaic), 1· in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.
18 Moses rejste Boligen, idet han anbragte Fodstykkerne, rejste Brædderne, stak Tværstængerne ind, rejste Pillerne,
Moses [Drawn out] raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.
19 spændte Teltdækket ud over Boligen og lagde Teltdækkets Dække ovenover, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
20 Derpaa tog han Vidnesbyrdet og lagde det i Arken, stak Bærestængerne i Arken og lagde Sonedækket oven paa den;
He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.
21 saa bragte han Arken ind i Boligen og hængte det indre Forhæng op og tilhyllede saaledes Vidnesbyrdets Ark, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
22 Derpaa opstillede han Bordet i Aabenbaringsteltet ved Boligens nordre Væg uden for Forhænget,
He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.
23 og han lagde Brødene i Række derpaa for HERRENS Aasyn, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
He set the bread in order on it before Adonai, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
24 Derpaa satte han Lysestagen ind i Aabenbaringsteltet lige over for Bordet, ved Boligens søndre Væg;
He put the menorah ·lamp· in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25 og han satte Lamperne derpaa for HERRENS Aasyn, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
He lit the menorah ·lamp· candles before Adonai, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
26 Derpaa stillede han Guldalteret op i Aabenbaringsteltet foran Forhænget,
He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;
27 og han tændte vellugtende Røgelse derpaa, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
28 Derpaa hængte han Forhænget op for Boligens Indgang.
He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
29 Brændofferalteret opstillede han foran Indgangen til Aabenbaringsteltets Bolig og ofrede Brændofferet og Afgrødeofferet derpaa, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
30 Derpaa opstillede han Vandkummen mellem Aabenbaringsteltet og Alteret og hældte Vand deri til Tvætning.
He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.
31 Og Moses og Aron og hans Sønner tvættede deres Hænder og Fødder deri;
Moses [Drawn out], Aaron [Light-bringer], and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
32 naar de gik ind i Aabenbaringsteltet og traadte hen til Alteret, tvættede de sig, som HERREN havde paalagt Moses.
When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
33 Saa rejste han Forgaarden rundt om Boligen og Alteret og hængte Forhænget op for Forgaardens Indgang. Hermed var Moses færdig med Arbejdet.
He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses [Drawn out] finished the work.
34 Da dækkede Skyen Aabenbaringsteltet, og HERRENS Herlighed fyldte Boligen;
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· filled the tabernacle.
35 og Moses kunde ikke gaa ind i Aabenbaringsteltet, fordi Skyen havde lagt sig derover, og HERRENS Herlighed fyldte Boligen.
Moses [Drawn out] was not able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· filled the tabernacle.
36 Men under hele deres Vandring brød Israeliterne op, naar Skyen løftede sig fra Boligen;
When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel [God prevails] went onward, throughout all their journeys;
37 og naar Skyen ikke løftede sig, brød de ikke op, men ventede, til den atter løftede sig.
but if the cloud was not taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.
38 Thi HERRENS Sky laa over Boligen om Dagen, og om Natten lyste Ild i Skyen for alle Israeliternes Øjne under hele deres Vandring.
For the cloud of Adonai was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel [God prevails], throughout all their journeys.
