1 Nesuďtež, abyste nebyli souzeni.
Nile ye deme, `that ye be not demed; for in what doom ye demen,
2 Nebo jakým soudem soudíte, takovýmž budete souzeni, a jakouž měrou měříte, takovouž bude vám zase odměřeno.
ye schulen be demed, and in what mesure ye meten, it schal be meten ayen to you.
3 Kterakž pak vidíš mrvu v oku bratra svého, a v oku svém břevna necítíš?
But what seest thou a litil mote in the iye of thi brother, and seest not a beem in thin owne iye?
4 Aneb kterak díš bratru svému: Nech, ať vyvrhu mrvu z oka tvého, a aj, břevno jest v oku tvém?
Or hou seist thou to thi brothir, Brothir, suffre I schal do out a mote fro thin iye, and lo! a beem is in thin owne iye?
5 Pokrytče, vyvrz nejprv břevno z oka svého, a tehdy prohlédneš, abys vyňal mrvu z oka bratra tvého.
Ipocrite, `do thou out first the beem of thin iye, and thanne thou schalt se to do out the mote of the iye of thi brothir.
6 Nedávejte svatého psům, aniž mecte perel svých před svině, ať by snad nepotlačily jich nohama svýma, a psi obrátíce se, aby neroztrhaly vás.

7 Proste, a dánoť bude vám; hledejte, a naleznete; tlucte, a bude vám otevříno.
Axe ye, and it schal be youun to you; seke ye, and ye schulen fynde; knocke ye, and it schal be openyd to you.
8 Nebo každý, kdož prosí, béře; a kdož hledá, nalézá; a tomu, jenž tluče, bude otevříno.
For ech that axith, takith; and he that sekith, fyndith; and it schal be openyd to hym, that knockith.
9 Nebo který z vás jest člověk, kteréhož kdyby prosil syn jeho za chléb, zdali kamene podá jemu?
What man of you is, that if his sone axe hym breed, whethir he wole take hym a stoon?
10 A prosil-li by za rybu, zdali hada podá jemu?
Or if he axe fische, whether he wole take hym an edder?
11 Poněvadž tedy vy, jsouce zlí, umíte dobré dary dávati synům vašim, čím více Otec váš, jenž jest v nebesích, dá dobré věci těm, kteříž ho prosí?
Therfor if ye, whanne ye ben yuele men, kunnen yyue good yiftis to youre sones, hou myche more youre fadir that is in heuenes schal yyue good thingis to men that axen hym?
12 A protož všecko, což byste chtěli, aby vám lidé činili, to i vy čiňte jim; toť zajisté jest Zákon i Proroci.
Therfor alle thingis, what euere thingis ye wolen that men do to you, do ye to hem, for this is the lawe and the prophetis.
13 Vcházejte těsnou branou; nebo prostranná brána a široká cesta jest, kteráž vede k zahynutí, a mnoho jest těch, kteříž vcházejí skrze ni.
Entre ye bi the streyt yate; for the yate that ledith to perdicioun is large, and the weie is broode, and there ben many that entren bi it.
14 Nebo těsná jest brána a úzká cesta, kteráž vede k životu, a málo jest nalézajících ji.
Hou streit is the yate, and narwy the weye, that ledith to lijf, and ther ben fewe that fynden it.
15 Pilně se pak varujte falešných proroků, kteříž přicházejí k vám v rouše ovčím, ale vnitř jsou vlci hltaví.
Be ye war of fals prophetis, that comen to you in clothingis of scheep, but withynneforth thei ben as wolues of raueyn;
16 Po ovocích jejich poznáte je. Zdaliž sbírají z trní hrozny, aneb z bodláčí fíky?
of her fruytis ye schulen knowe hem. Whether men gaderen grapis of thornes, or figus of breris?
17 Takť každý strom dobrý ovoce dobré nese, zlý pak strom zlé ovoce nese.
So euery good tre makith good fruytis; but an yuel tre makith yuel fruytis.
18 Nemůžeť dobrý strom zlého ovoce nésti, ani strom zlý ovoce dobrého vydávati.
A good tre may not make yuel fruytis, nethir an yuel tre make good fruytis.
19 Všeliký strom, kterýž nenese ovoce dobrého, vyťat a na oheň uvržen bývá.
Euery tre that makith not good fruyt, schal be kyt doun, and schal be cast in to the fier.
20 A tak tedy po ovocích jejich poznáte je.
Therfor of her fruytis ye schulen knowe hem.
21 Ne každý, kdož mi říká: Pane, Pane, vejde do království nebeského, ale ten, kdož činí vůli Otce mého, kterýž v nebesích jest.
Not ech man that seith to me, Lord, Lord, schal entre in to the kyngdom of heuenes; but he that doith the wille of my fadir that is in heuenes, he schal entre in to the kyngdoom of heuenes.
22 Mnozíť mi dějí v onen den: Pane, Pane, zdaliž jsme ve jménu tvém neprorokovali, a ve jménu tvém ďáblů nevymítali, a v tvém jménu zdaliž jsme divů mnohých nečinili?
Many schulen seie to me in that dai, Lord, Lord, whether we han not prophesied in thi name, and han caste out feendis in thi name, and han doon many vertues in thi name?
23 A tehdyť jim vyznám, že jsem vás nikdy neznal. Odejděte ode mne, činitelé nepravosti.
And thanne Y schal knouleche to hem, That Y knewe you neuere; departe awei fro me, ye that worchen wickidnesse.
24 A protož každého, kdož slyší slova má tato a zachovává je, připodobním muži moudrému, kterýž ustavěl dům svůj na skále.
Therfor ech man that herith these my wordis, and doith hem, schal be maad lijk to a wise man, that hath bildid his hous on a stoon.
25 I spadl příval, a přišly řeky, a váli větrové, a obořili se na ten dům, a nepadl; nebo založen byl na skále.
And reyn felde doun, and flodis camen, and wyndis blewen, and russchiden `in to that hous; and it felde not doun, for it was foundun on a stoon.
26 A každý, kdož slyší slova má tato, a neplní jich, připodobněn bude muži bláznu, kterýž ustavěl dům svůj na písku.
And euery man that herith these my wordis, and doith hem not, is lijk to a fool, that hath bildid his hous on grauel.
27 I spadl příval, a přišly řeky, a váli větrové, a obořili se na ten dům, i padl, a byl pád jeho veliký.
And reyn cam doun, and floodis camen, and wyndis blewen, and thei hurliden ayen that hous; and it felde doun, and the fallyng doun therof was greet.
28 I stalo se, když dokonal Ježíš řeči tyto, že se převelmi divili zástupové učení jeho.
And it was doon, whanne Jhesus hadde endid these wordis, the puple wondride on his techyng;
29 Nebo učil je jako moc maje, a ne jako zákoníci.
for he tauyte hem, as he that hadde power, and not as the scribis `of hem, and the Farisees.
