耶利米书 11
1 耶和华的话临到耶利米说：
The word that came to Jeremiah from Jehovah, saying,
2 “当听这约的话，告诉犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，
"Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
3 对他们说，耶和华—以色列的 神如此说：不听从这约之话的人必受咒诅。
and say to them, 'Thus says Jehovah, the God of Israel: "Cursed is the man who doesn't hear the words of this covenant,
4 这约是我将你们列祖从埃及地领出来、脱离铁炉的那日所吩咐他们的，说：‘你们要听从我的话，照我一切所吩咐的去行。’这样，你们就作我的子民，我也作你们的 神；
which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace, saying, "Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;
5 我好坚定向你们列祖所起的誓，给他们流奶与蜜之地，正如今日一样。”我就回答说：“耶和华啊，阿们！”
that I may establish the oath which I swore to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey," as at this day.'" Then I answered, and said, "Amen, Jehovah."
6 耶和华对我说：“你要在犹大城邑中和耶路撒冷街市上，宣告这一切话说：你们当听从遵行这约的话。
Jehovah said to me, "Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, 'Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
7 因为我将你们列祖从埃及地领出来的那日，直到今日，都是从早起来，切切告诫他们说：‘你们当听从我的话。’
For I earnestly protested to your fathers in the day that I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, even to this day, rising early and protesting, saying, Obey my voice.
8 他们却不听从，不侧耳而听，竟随从自己顽梗的恶心去行。所以我使这约中一切咒诅的话临到他们身上；这约是我吩咐他们行的，他们却不去行。”
Yet they did not obey, nor turn their ear, but walked everyone in the stubbornness of their evil heart: therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not do them.'"
9 耶和华对我说：“在犹大人和耶路撒冷居民中有同谋背叛的事。
Jehovah said to me, "A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 他们转去效法他们的先祖，不肯听我的话，犯罪作孽，又随从别神，事奉它。以色列家和犹大家背了我与他们列祖所立的约。”
They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; and they are gone after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
11 所以耶和华如此说：“我必使灾祸临到他们，是他们不能逃脱的。他们必向我哀求，我却不听。
Therefore thus says Jehovah, 'Look, I will bring disaster on them, which they shall not be able to escape; and they shall cry to me, but I will not listen to them.
12 那时，犹大城邑的人和耶路撒冷的居民要去哀求他们烧香所供奉的神；只是遭难的时候，这些神毫不拯救他们。
Then shall the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem go and cry to the gods to which they offer incense: but they will not save them at all in the time of their trouble.
13 犹大啊，你神的数目与你城的数目相等；你为那可耻的巴力所筑烧香的坛也与耶路撒冷街道的数目相等。
For according to the number of your cities are your gods, Judah; and according to the number of the streets of Jerusalem have you set up altars to the shameful thing, even altars to burn incense to Baal.'
14 “所以你不要为这百姓祈祷，不要为他们呼求祷告；因为他们遭难向我哀求的时候，我必不应允。
Therefore do not pray for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me at the time of their trouble."
15 我所亲爱的，既行许多淫乱，圣肉也离了你，你在我殿中做什么呢？你作恶就喜乐。
"What has my beloved to do in my house, since she has done many vile deeds? Can holy meat avert your disaster so that you can rejoice?"
16 从前耶和华给你起名叫青橄榄树，又华美又结好果子；如今他用哄嚷之声，点火在其上，枝子也被折断。
Jehovah called your name, "A green olive tree, beautiful with goodly fruit." With the noise of a great tumult he has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken.
17 原来栽培你的万军之耶和华已经说，要降祸攻击你，是因以色列家和犹大家行恶，向巴力烧香，惹我发怒，是自作自受。”
For Jehovah of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have worked for themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal."
18 耶和华指示我，我就知道； 你将他们所行的给我指明。
Jehovah gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it: then you showed me their doings.
19 我却像柔顺的羊羔被牵到宰杀之地； 我并不知道他们设计谋害我， 说：我们把树连果子都灭了吧！ 将他从活人之地剪除， 使他的名不再被纪念。
But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I did not know that they had devised devices against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered."
20 按公义判断、察验人肺腑心肠的万军之耶和华啊， 我却要见你在他们身上报仇， 因我将我的案件向你禀明了。
"But, Jehovah of hosts, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I shall see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause."
21 所以，耶和华论到寻索你命的亚拿突人如此说：“他们说：你不要奉耶和华的名说预言，免得你死在我们手中。
Therefore thus says Jehovah concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek my life, saying, "You shall not prophesy in the name of Jehovah, that you not die by our hand;"
22 所以万军之耶和华如此说：看哪，我必刑罚他们；他们的少年人必被刀剑杀死，他们的儿女必因饥荒灭亡，
therefore thus says Jehovah of hosts, "Look, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine;
23 并且没有余剩的人留给他们；因为在追讨之年，我必使灾祸临到亚拿突人。”
and there shall be no remnant to them: for I will bring disaster on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation."
