馬太福音 28
1 日既過，一週的第一天，天快亮時，瑪利亞瑪達肋納和另一個瑪利亞來看墳墓。
After the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary of Magdala and the other Mary had gone to look at the grave,
2 忽然發生了大地震，因為上主的天使從上天降來，上前把石頭滾開，坐在上面。
when suddenly a great earthquake occurred. For an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled away the stone, and seated himself on it.
3 他的容貌好像閃電，他的衣服潔白如雪。
His appearance was as dazzling as lightning, and his clothing was as white as snow;
4 看守的人由於怕衪，嚇得打顫，變得好像死人一樣。
and, in their terror of him, the men on guard trembled violently and became like dead men.
5 天使對婦女說道：「妳們不要害怕！我知道妳們尋找被釘死的耶穌。
But the angel, addressing the women, said, ‘You need not be afraid. I know that it is Jesus, who was crucified, for whom you are looking.
6 衪不在這裏，因為衪已經照衪所說的復活了。妳們來看看安放過衪的地方；
He is not here; for he has risen, as he said he would. Come, and see the place where he was lying;
7 並且快去對衪的門徒說：衪已經由死者中復活了。看，衪在你們以先往加利肋亞去，在那裏你們要看見衪。看，我已經告訴了妳們。」
and then go quickly and say to his disciples “He has risen from the dead, and is going before you into Galilee; there you will see him.” Remember, I have told you.’
8 她們趕快離開墳墓，又恐懼又異常喜樂，去報告衪的門徒。
They left the tomb quickly, in awe and great joy, and ran to tell the news to the disciples.
9 忽然，耶穌迎上妳們說：「願妳們平安！」好們遂上前抱住耶穌的腳，朝拜了衪。
Suddenly Jesus met them. ‘Welcome!’ he said. The women went up to him, and clasped his feet, bowing to the ground before him. Then Jesus said to them,
10 耶穌對你們說：「不要害怕！妳們去，報告我的兄弟，叫他們往加利肋亞去，他們要在那裏看見我。」
‘Do not be afraid; go and tell my brothers and sisters to set out for Galilee, and they will see me there.’
11 當婦女離去的時候，有幾個看守的兵士來到城裏，把所發生的事，全告訴了司祭長。
While they were still on their way, some of the guard came into the city, and reported to the chief priests everything that had happened.
12 司祭長就同長老聚會商議之後，給了兵士許多錢，
So they and the elders met and, after holding a consultation, gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
13 囑咐他們說：「你們就說：我們睡覺的時候，他的門徒夜間來了，把他偷去了。
and told them to say that his disciples came in the night, and stole him while they were asleep;
14 如果這事為總督聽見，有我們說好話，保營你們無事。」
‘And should this matter come before the Governor,’ they added, ‘we will satisfy him, and see that you have nothing to fear.’
15 兵士拿了銀錢，就照他們所囑咐的做了。這消息就在猶太人間傳揚開了，一直到今天。
So the soldiers took the money, and did as they were instructed. This story spread widely; the people of Judea still tell it today.
16 十一個門徒就往加利肋亞，到耶穌給他們所指定的山上去了。
The eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus told them to meet him;
17 他們一看見衪，就朝拜了衪，雖然有人還心中疑惑。
and, when they saw him, they bowed to the ground before him; although some felt doubtful.
18 耶穌便上前對他們說：「天上地下的一切權柄都交給了我，
Then Jesus came up, and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority in heaven and on the earth has been given to me.
19 所以你們要去使萬民成為門徒，因父及子及聖神之名給他們授洗
Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
