A Song, — A Psalm of Asaph. O God, let there be no silence to Thee, Be not silent, nor be quiet, O God.

For, lo, Thine enemies do roar, And those hating Thee have lifted up the head,

Against Thy people they take crafty counsel, And consult against Thy hidden ones.
4 Tho awh, miphun lah aonae koehoi raphoe awh sei, Isarel min hai panue hoeh nahanlah ati awh.
They have said, 'Come, And we cut them off from [being] a nation, And the name of Israel is not remembered any more.'
5 Lungpouk buet touh lah, a kâpan awh teh, nang taranlahoi lawkkamnae teh a sak awh.
For they consulted in heart together, Against Thee a covenant they make,
6 Edom hoi Ishmael rim dawk kaawmnaw, Moab hoi Hagar,
Tents of Edom, and Ishmaelites, Moab, and the Hagarenes,
7 Gebal hoi Amon, Amalek hoi Filistin, hoi Taire kaawm e naw hoi lawkkam a sak awh.
Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with inhabitants of Tyre,
8 Assyria hai ahnimouh koelah a kambawng teh, Lot catounnaw hah a kabawp. (Selah)
Asshur also is joined with them, They have been an arm to sons of Lot. (Selah)
9 Ahnimouh teh Midian koe na sak e patetlah, Kishion palang vah Sisera koehoi Jabin koe na sak e patetlah, bout sak pouh haw.
Do to them as [to] Midian, As [to] Sisera, as [to] Jabin, at the stream Kishon.
10 Ahnimouh teh Endor vah a due awh teh, talai dawk vaipuen lah a coung awh.
They were destroyed at Endor, They were dung for the ground!
11 A tami kalennaw teh Oreb hoi Zeeb patetlah sak nateh, Bokheiyah, ahnimae siangpahrang pueng hah Zeeb hoi Zalmunna patetlah sak haw.
Make their nobles as Oreb and as Zeeb, And as Zebah and Zalmunna all their princes,
12 Hotnaw ni Cathut e saring pânae hmuen koehoi, kamamouh hanlah ka la awh han ati awh.
Who have said, 'Let us occupy for ourselves The comely places of God.'
13 Oe Cathut ahnimouh teh vaiphu kahlî ni palek e hoi vaikong kahlî ni a palek e patetlah coung sak haw.
O my God, make them as a rolling thing, As stubble before wind.
14 Hmai ni thing a kak e hoi, mon hah hmai ni a kak e patetlah coung sak haw.
As a fire doth burn a forest, And as a flame setteth hills on fire,
15 Ahnimouh teh na kahlî kathout hoi pâlei nateh, puenghoi katang e kahlî hoi pakhi haw.
So dost Thou pursue them with Thy whirlwind, And with Thy hurricane troublest them.
16 Oe BAWIPA, na min a tawng awh nahan lah a minhmai ka paling lah kayak sak ngala haw.
Fill their faces [with] shame, And they seek Thy name, O Jehovah.
17 Nang dueng doeh BAWIPA min ka sin e hoi talai van pueng dawk Lathueng Poung lah na o e hah na panue thai awh nahanelah,
They are ashamed and troubled for ever, Yea, they are confounded and lost.
18 Yeiraipo hoi rucat hoi pou awm sak haw. Bokheiyah, kaya hoi awm sak nateh, koung kahmat naseh.
And they know that Thou — (Thy name [is] Jehovah — by Thyself, ) [Art] the Most High over all the earth!
