< Rome 10 >
1 Kasopi deitah teho, kalunga kagelkhoh jingle Pathen'a kataona hi Israel mite huhhing'a aumna dingu hi ahi.
Brothers, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that [is] to God for Israel, is—for salvation;
2 Amahon Pathen'a thanopna aneinau chu ipi ahi kahei, hinla hichu hetkhenna beiya kipehna nei ahiuve.
for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
3 Ajeh chu amahon Pathen in miho chu Ama a dinga athemchan thudol hi ahethei pouve. Pathen tohgon chu amahon asan nomlou jeh uvin, amaho lung ngaito jui'a Pathen themchanna mu ding chu alunggon'u ahi.
for not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
4 Ajehchu Christa chun Danthu kipehlona ajehchu anasuh bulhitsa ahitai. Hiche jal'a chu Ama tahsan jouse chu Pathen themchanna asodoh ahitai.
For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to everyone who is believing,
5 Ajehchu Mose chun Danthua mikhat themchanna dinga athupehsa chu nit ding ahi, ati.
for Moses describes the righteousness that [is] of the Law, that, “The man who did them will live in them,”
6 Hinlah tahsanjal'a Pathen themchan theina ding chun, “Nangman nalung thima koi vana gakal ding ham (Christa chu vana kona agapuilhah ding kiseina ahi).
and the righteousness of faith thus speaks: “You may not say in your heart, Who will go up to Heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 Chule koi mithiho lah a gakumsuh ding ham? (Christa chu hinsah kitna ding in) tihih un. (Abyssos )
or, “Who will go down to the abyss?” (that is, to bring up Christ out of the dead). (Abyssos )
8 Tahbeh mong'in, hitin ati. Athupoh chu ahung nailheh-e; hichu nakam sungle nalung sunga aume.” Chule chuche thupeh chu keihon kalhangsap'u tahsan thudol chu ahi.
But what does it say? “The saying is near you—in your mouth, and in your heart”: that is, the saying of the faith that we preach;
9 Nangman nakam'a Yeshua chu Pakai ahi tia naphondoh-a chule Pathen in Ama chu athilah a kon'in akaithoutai ti nalungsunga natahsan tah-a ahileh huhhing'a um nahi ding ahitai.
that if you may confess with your mouth that Jesus [is] LORD, and may believe in your heart that God raised Him out of the dead, you will be saved,
10 Ajehchu nalung sunga natahsan chun Pathen themchanna chu nachan sah ahitai, chule na-phondoh chun nangma huhhing'a naumsah ahitai.
for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
11 Pathen lekhabun eiseipeh-u dungjuiyin, “Koi hijongleh ama tahsan chan chu jachatna a chulou ding ahi” ati.
for the Writing says, “Everyone who is believing on Him will not be ashamed,”
12 Hiche thudol a hin Judah mite le chidang namdang ho thakhat ahitai. Amahon Pakai khat aneikhom'un, Ama kou jouse chu lungsetna bulhingset apei.
for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all [is] rich to all those calling on Him,
13 Ajehchu koihileh Pakai min'a taochan chu huhhing'a umding ahi.
for “Everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.”
14 Hinlah amahon Ama atahsanlou uleh a-huhhing theina dinga iti akou thei dingu ham? Chule Ama thudol anajah khah lou u ahileh iti ahin tahsan thei dingu ham? Chule koiham khat'in aseipeh louva ahileh amahon iti achungchang thu ajah thei dingu ham?
How then will they call on [Him] in whom they did not believe? And how will they believe [on Him] of whom they did not hear? And how will they hear apart from one preaching?
15 Chule akisol aum louhela ahileh, koipen gachea amaho thu agaseipeh dingu ham? Hichejeh a chu Pathen thubun, “Kipana Thupha poa vahle ho keng iti hoiya hoi hitam,” ati ahi.
And how will they preach, if they may not be sent? According as it has been written: “How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!”
16 Hinlah amichang cheh in Kipana Thupha chu anasang pouve, Ajehchu Isaiah Themgaovin, “Pakai kathupoh-u tahsan'a koi ham?” anati.
But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah says, “LORD, who gave credence to our report?”
17 Hitichun, tahsan chu thujah a kon ahin, hichu Christa chung chang thujah a kon ahi.
So then faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
18 Hinlah ken kadongin, “Israel miten thu hunglhung thu chu ajah tahbeh-u hinam?” Henge, ajanauve. “Thu hunglhung chu leiset kolkimvel'a akithe chansoh in, chule thuchu vannoi mun jousea alhungsoh-e.”
but I say, did they not hear? Yes, indeed, “their voice went forth to all the earth, and their sayings to the ends of the habitable world.”
19 Hinlah ken kadong'in, “Israel mipiten ahet khen mong'u hinam?” kati'e. Henge, aheuve, ajehchu Mose phatlai jeng jong chun Pathen in aseijin, “Keiman nangho namkhat hiloulai hojong miho thangset sah dinga ngolnaa chu kalunghansah ding ahi,” ati.
But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by [that which is] not a nation, By an unintelligent nation I will anger you,”
20 Chule khonungin Isaiah chun, lung ngam tah in Pathen'a kon'in hitin aseiye, “Keiman kamite kamudoh dingho chu einahelou miho hiding ahiuve. Keima eidonlou beh ho chu keiman kakimudoh sah ding ahi,” ati.
and Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became visible to those not inquiring after Me”;
21 “Hinlah, Israel chung chang thua, Pathen in aseiyin, nilhum keiyin keiman amaho chunga kakhut kajah in, hinla amaho seingai louleh engset hatte ahiuve,” ati.
and to Israel He says, “All the day I stretched out My hands to a people unbelieving and contradicting.”
