1 Israel te Moab phaicham Jordan vadung pang Jerecho mun aum un PakaiyinMose henga thu asei peh in ahi.

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses in [the] plains of Moab at [the] Jordan of Jericho saying.

2 Isreal chate chenna mun ahin Levite goulo jong apeh na diu vin ajah uva thu sei peh in, khopi jouse kimvel la Levi miten gancha anei sun’u avah na diuvin mun jong na peh diu ahi.

Command [the] people of Israel and they will give to the Levites some of [the] inheritance of possession their cities to dwell in and pasture land for the cities around them you will give to the Levites.

3 Levi mite chu khopi chengse cheng diu, hamhing kena gambeh chengse jong bonghon vah na a anei uva aman chah diu ahi tai.

And they will belong the cities to them to dwell in and pasture lands their they will be for cattle their and for property their and for every animal their.

4 Chule Levi mite gancha hon vahna dinga na peh diu gambeh chu khopi pal kigen kimvel apat tong sangkhat a sao gambeh sung napeh teidiu ahi.

And [the] pasture lands of the cities which you will give to the Levites [will be] from [the] wall of the city and [the] outside towards one thousand cubit[s] all around.

5 Hichu khopi pam solam tong sangni a sao na tedoh diu, lhanglam jong tong sangni ma na tedoh diu, chunglam jong tongsani na tedoh diu khopi chu a lailung tah a na umsah diu, khopi vel Jousea a kitedohsa mun chengse chu Levi mite gancha ho hamhing neh na muna anei diu ahi tai.

And you will measure from [the] outside of the city [the] side of east-ward two thousand by the cubit and [the] side of [the] south two thousand by the cubit and [the] side of [the] west - two thousand by the cubit and [the] side of [the] north two thousand by the cubit and the city [will be] in the middle this it will belong to them [the] pasture lands of the cities.

6 Levi mite chenna dinga na peh’u khoppi chengse chu kiselna khopi tia na minsah sohkei diu, hichu khopi gup ahin, nalah uva koi tabang mithat na um khah ule hiche khopi sung hoa hi na jam lut sah uva na kihuhhing sah diu, khopi hi chengse chung’a jong hi khopi somli leni na peh be nah lai diu ahiye.

And the cities which you will give to the Levites [the] six [the] cities of refuge which you will give to flee there towards the killer and to them you will give forty and two citi[es].

7 Khopi somli le get chu Levi mite chen mun ding’a na peh diu, khopi kimvella hamhing umna chengse toh jaona napeh diu ahi.

All the cities which you will give to the Levites [will be] forty and eight citi[es] them and pasture lands their.

8 Khopi hichengse hi Israel chate chenna gamsunga konna na kehdoh peh diu, phung sung mitam ho chunga gam alenjo na lah diu, phungsung milhomna ho agambeh neojo na lah diu, nangma phung sung cheh akonna gambeh jong alen aneo dungjui cheh a Levi mite chen mun na peh sohkei diu ahi.

And the cities which you will give from [the] possession of [the] people of Israel from with the many you will increase and from with the few you will decrease each one according to [the] mouth of inheritance its which they will inherit it will give some of cities its to the Levites.

9 Pakaiyin Mose henga hiti hin a seipeh in ahi.

And he spoke Yahweh to Moses saying.

10 Israel chate jah a hitihin seiyin, Jordan vadung nagalkai uva Canaan gamsung nalut teng u-leh.

Speak to [the] people of Israel and you will say to them if you [are] about to pass over the Jordan [the] land of towards Canaan.

11 Na kisel na diuva khopi phabep na kilhen doh diu, hetman louva khat chun mikhat atha khah tah ahile ama chu koi pen hijong le hiche khopi sunga hi jamlut a ki huhhing ding ahi.

And you will make happen to yourselves cities cities of refuge they will be for you and he will flee there towards a killer [who] has struck down a person by inadvertence.

12 Khopi chengse hi nangho ding’a phula pa akon kiselna leh ki huhhing na muna pang ding ahi. Ajeh chu koi hileh mithat penpen chu athu kicheh tah a akikhol doh masangse a kithat lou hel ding ahi.

And they will become for you the cities a refuge from an avenger and not he will die the killer until stands he before the congregation for judgment.

13 Na todoh diu khopi chu aboncha kiselna a naman chah diu ahin, hichu khopi gup hi ding ahi.

And the cities which you will give six cities of refuge they will be for you.

14 Kiselna khopi lah achu Jordan vadung gal lamma khopi thum hi ding, agal lang khat a khopi thumna todoh diu, hiche khopi thum hochu Canaan gamsung hi ding ahiye.

- three Cities you will give from [the] other side of the Jordan and three cities you will give in [the] land of Canaan cities of refuge they will be.

15 Israel mi ahin, kholgam khopem mi ahin, ahung kholjin mi hi jong leh kiselna a naman chah diu ahi. Na lah uva koi hileh mi that’a khutsoi a-umkhah tah a ahile hiche khopi gup ho’a hi jam lut a ki huhhing ding ahi.

For [the] people of Israel and for the sojourner and for the resident alien in midst of them they will become [the] six the cities these a refuge to flee there towards any [one who] strikes down a person by inadvertence.

16 Nalah uva koihile hem lamma mithat jeng’a chu tolthat a kisim ahi tan, hitabang a tolthat mihem chu thina chan gotna achung’a lhung ding ahi.

And if with an instrument of iron - he struck down him and he died [is] a killer he certainly he will be put to death the killer.

17 Chuleh song-tum ham khat a-manchah’a mi khattou chu asuh a amun’a chu athi den jeng tah ahile hiche jong chu tolthat a kisim ahi tan, tolthat mihem kiti phot chu achunga thina chan gotna kipie ding ahi.

And if with a stone of hand which someone will die by it he struck down him and he died [is] a killer he certainly he will be put to death the killer.

18 Khat touvin thingtum ham khat chu a manchah a mi khattou ajep a a jeppa jong chu amuna a thi den jeng tah a ahile ama jong chu tolthat a kisim ahi tan, hi tabanga tolthat chu thina chan gotna peh teitei ding ahi.

Or with an instrument of wood of hand which someone will die by it he struck down him and he died [is] a killer he certainly he will be put to death the killer.

19 Thisan phulah ding’a alunga voppa chun tolthat pa chung’a chu thina a-chansah teitei ding ahi.

[the] avenger of Blood he he will put to death the killer when meets he him he he will put to death him.

20 Mi khat touvin mihem khat chu achan lhih keija vetda jeh a atha jeng tah a ahile.

And if in hatred he will push him or he threw on him with lying in wait and he died.

21 Chuleh kitomona a-nei jeh lhonna asuh lih jeng ahi jong leh hitabang’a khutsoi mihem pa chung’a chu thina chan gotna peh teitei ding, ajeh chu ama jong chu tolthat a pang ahitan, thisan phulah ding lungpu pachu a-kimupi teng thina achansah teitei ding ahi.

Or in enmity he struck down him with hand his and he died certainly he will be put to death the [one who] struck [is] a killer he [the] avenger of blood he will put to death the killer when meets he him.

22 Ki-tomona ima neipi hilou, aki changlhi le hilouva tohhai ja a selih jeng khah ham,

And if in an instant with not enmity he pushed him or he threw on him any weapon with not lying in wait.

23 Chule songkhat alah a mikhat tou muchen louva ase khah jeng tah a mipa jong chu amun’a athi jeng tah leh, hichepa toh chun akah a boina ima nei lou ahinah leh.

Or with any stone which someone will die by it with not seeing [him] and he made [it] fall on him and he died and he not [was] an enemy of him and not [was] seeking harm his.

24 Khopi a-chu mithatpa leh thisan phulah ding lunggel pa kikah’a thutanna dan tampi toh tho’a asem diu ahi.

And they will judge the congregation between the [one who] struck and between [the] avenger of blood on the judgments these.

25 Thisan-phu lah ding lunggel neipa akonna mithatpa chu khopi chun a-huhdoh ding, mithat pan jong khopi chu kiselna’a aman ding, mithatpa jam lutna in penpen a-chu achensah diu, ama jong hiche khopi sunga chu thaotui theng changsa thempupa adam sung’a cheng ding ahi.

And they will deliver the congregation the killer from [the] hand of [the] avenger of blood and they will return him the congregation to [the] city of refuge his where he had fled there towards and he will dwell in it until [the] death of the priest great whom someone had anointed him with [the] oil of holiness.

26 Ama vang hiche mithatpa chu a deiphat phat in khopi akon chun avella ana chedoh ta hen lang,

And if ever he will go out the killer [the] border of [the] city of refuge his where he will flee there towards.

27 Hitia achedoh laitah chun gamning lah khat a thisan phu lah nompa chun hiche mithatpa chu ana that jeng taleh ama thisen jeh’a chu Thempu pa thepmona ima umlou ding ahi.

And he will find him [the] avenger of blood from [the] outside of [the] border of [the] city of refuge his and he will kill [the] avenger of blood the killer not [will belong] to him blood.

28 Hijeh achu mithatpa jong thempulen pa adam sung’a hiche khopi sung’a chu umjing ding ahi.

For in [the] city of refuge his he will remain until [the] death of the priest great and after [the] death of the priest great he will return the killer to [the] land of possession his.

29 Hiche hi nakhang khang uva chonna dan a na nei jing diu ahiye.

And they will become these [things] for you a statute of judgment to generations your in all dwelling places your.

30 Mi khattou vin mihem khat chung’a hem alap a atha jeng tah ahile, hiche mithatpa chu hettohsah ho thutan dungjuija che ding, ahin lah hettohsah khat jeng seh sei vanga mithatpa hinkho chu kimoh suh mang jeng thei lou ahi.

Any [one who] strikes down a person to [the] mouth of witnesses someone will kill the killer and a witness one not he will testify against anyone to die.

31 Chule thina changei ja gotna chang ding mihem khat chung’a chu thilong man kilahna nanei thei lou hel diu, tolthatpa vang chu thina na chansah teitei diu ahi.

And not you will take a ransom for [the] life of a killer who he [is] guilty to die for certainly he will be put to death.

32 Aki huhhing na dinga khopia jamlut tolthatpa jal'a longman jeng jong thempulen pa damsunga na kilah louhel diu ahiye.

And not you will take a ransom to flee to [the] city of refuge his to return to dwell in the land until [the] death of the priest.

33 Hitia hi na gamsung’u na suhboh thei loudiu, ajeh chu thisan jal’a gamsung boh ji ahin, gamsung suh thengna ding’a thil dang ima aum pon, agam chu thisan kiso jeng ahi tan hichu thisen sopa chung’a bouchu suh theng theina lampi um ahi.

And not you will pollute the land which you [are] in it for blood it it pollutes the land and for the land not it will be atoned to the blood which it was shed in it that except by [the] blood of [the] [one who] shed it.

34 Hijeh chun nachen nau gamsung hi thisan a na suhboh thei louhel diu, keima hiche gam lailungtah in kacheng in, Pakai, Pathen hi Israel mite lailunga acheng jing e, tia ajah uva naseipeh ding ahi.

And not you will make unclean the land which you [are] dwelling in it which I [am] dwelling in [the] midst of it for I Yahweh [am] dwelling in among [the] people of Israel.
