< Matthew 18 >

1 Hichepet chun seijuiho Yeshua henga ahung un chule thudoh aneiyun, “Van Lenggama chu koipen alenpen hi ding ham?” atiuve.
In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
2 Yeshuan chapang neocha khat akoma din akouvin, chuin chapang chu alah uva adinsah in.
Jesus called a little child to himself, and set him in the middle of them
3 Chuphat in aseitai, “Tahbeh'a kaseipeh nahiuve, nangho nachonset nauva kona nakile heiyuva chule chapang neocha ho tobang nahung hilou uva ahileh, Van Lenggam a nalut louhel diu ahi.
and said, “Most certainly I tell you, unless you turn and become as little children, you will in no way enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
4 Hijeh chun koi hijongleh chapang neocha ho tobanga kineosah mi chu, Van Lenggam a alenpen hi ding ahi.
Whoever therefore humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.
5 Chule koi hijongleh Keima khel a chapang neokhat sanga chun, Keima eisan ahi.”
Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me,
6 Hinlah nanghon hiche aneocha ho lah'a khat Keima eitahsan achu chonsetna nalhahsah uva ahileh, sumhei lentah khat na ngong changa kihen henlang twikhanglen'a kileh lut lechun nangma ding in aphajoi.
but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea.
7 “Vannoiya hi itobang gimnan ahinphah ding hitam! Ajeh chu miho chonse din alhem in ahi. Lhep patepna hohi pel theilou ahi, hinlah alhema pang mi chu iti hahsat ding hitan tem?
“Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come, but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!
8 Hijeh chun nakhut ahilouleh nakeng in chonset nabolsah leh tanbong in chule paimang in khutkhat ahilouleh kengkhat neiya tonsot hinna'a nalut chu, khut ni ahilouleh keng ni neiya tonsot meidila nalut sang in gamcheng in aphajon ahi. (aiōnios g166)
If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life maimed or crippled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into the eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
9 Chule namit in nachonset sah'a ahileh, kaldoh'in lang chule paimang jeng in. Mit khat neiya tonsot hinna'a lut chu mit ni neiya meidila lut ding sang in aphajoi.” (Geenna g1067)
If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire. (Geenna g1067)
10 Ching theiyun, nanghon hiche ho lah a aneopen ho jong noise hih un. Ajeh chu van a avantil teu van a ka Pa ang sunga um jing ahiuve.
See that you don’t despise one of these little ones, for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.
11 Chule Mihem Chapa hi amangthah ho chu huhhing dinga hung ahi.
For the Son of Man came to save that which was lost.
12 “Mikhat in kelngoi jakhat neihen lang, chule hiche ho lah a khat chu vahmang taleh amapa chun ipi aboldem? Aman adangse somko le ko chu mol achun dalhan tin chule amang chu holding a chedoh lou ding ham?
“What do you think? If a man has one hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine, go to the mountains, and seek that which has gone astray?
13 Chule aman amu tengleh, tahbeh'a kaseipeh nahiuve, ama chunga akipana chu avah manglou somko le ko sanga lenjo ding ahi.
If he finds it, most certainly I tell you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine which have not gone astray.
14 Hitobangma achu, hiche aneocha ho lah'a khatpen amah thah ding chu van a um Ka Pa lunglam ahipoi.”
Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
15 “Tahsan nei mi dang khat nangma douna a achonset a ahileh, na chang in chen chule athemmona chu seipeh in. Aman nasei angaiya chule hichu aphondoh'a ahileh, nangman ama chu nathujo ahitai.
“If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother.
16 Hinlah nathujo joulou tah'a ahileh, nangman mikhat ahilouleh mini kipuiyin, gache kit in, hitia chu nangman nasei chu hettohsahna ni ahilouleh thum in phochen hen.
But if he doesn’t listen, take one or two more with you, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 Ama ada nahlaiya nasei angai louva ahileh, nachung thu chu houbunga lhut in. Chutengleh ama chun houbung thu angai louva ahileh, hichepa chu milim hou ahilouleh chidang nam dang in kisim jeng hen.”
If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector.
18 “Thutahbeh kaseipeh nahiuve, nanghon leiset chunga najahda chan uchu vana jong kijada ding, chule leiset chunga naphal chanu chu vana jong kiphal peh ding ahi. Leiset chunga ipi hijongleh bollou ding nati chan chu vana jong kibol lou ding, chule leiset chunga ipi hijongleh na phalpeh chan chu vana jong kiphal peh ding ahi.
Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven.
19 Hiche jong hi ka seipeh nahiuve: Nalah uva mi ni na kinop touva ipi hijongleh leiset chunga nathum chan'u chu, vana Ka Pan nang ho dinga abol ding ahi.
Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven.
20 Ijeh inem itileh Kamin a ni ahilouleh thum naki khop khom nau chana chun, Keima nalah uva kaum jing e,” ati.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.”
21 Chujouvin, Peter Ama koma ahung in chuin ajah a, “Pakai, mi koiham khat chu keima douna a achonset a ahileh, ijatvei kijoma kangaidam thei ham? Sagi vei chan gei ham?” ati.
Then Peter came and said to him, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Until seven times?”
22 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Keiman najah'a sagi vei katipoi, hinlah sagi mun som sagi vei kaseina ahijoi.”
Jesus said to him, “I don’t tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven.
23 “Hiche jeh'a hi van Lenggam chu Lengpa khat in asohte toh, ama koma sum baho chuto sum suto dinga akou khom toh kitekah thei ahi.
Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who wanted to settle accounts with his servants.
24 Aman sum asuhto khom nauva chun, ama koma sum sang som bapa chu ahinkai tauve.
When he had begun to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
25 Aman asah joulou phat in, apupa chun aji leh achate chule anei jouse ajoh'a abat chu asah dingin thu apetai.”
But because he couldn’t pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
26 “Hinlah ama chu apupa ang sunga chun abohkhup in chuin athum in, ‘Lungsettah in, nei khongaiyin, keiman abonchan pena nge’” ati.
The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, ‘Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!’
27 Chuphat in apupa chun akhoto lheh in, chuin alhadoh in chule abat angaidam tai.
The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him and forgave him the debt.
28 Hinlah aman lengpa ada lhah chun, asoh chanpi sum asang mai mai bapa koma chun achen, angonga aman'in chule apetpet in neipen atitai.
“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him one hundred denarii, and he grabbed him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’
29 Asoh chanpi a-anga adilsun chule phat chomkhat bep anga dingin angeh in: Nei khongaiyin, keiman penange tin angeh jeng e.
“So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you!’
30 Hinlah abat napa chun angah jou tapoi. Aman mi amatsah in chule batchu asah chaisoh kahsea dingin songkul a akhum tai.
He would not, but went and cast him into prison until he should pay back that which was due.
31 “Soh achom dang hon hichu amuvin, alung nommo lheh tauvin ahi. Amaho lengpa koma acheuvin chule thilsoh chu agasei sohkei tauve.”
So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told their lord all that was done.
32 Chuphat'in lengpa chun angaidamsa pachu akoulut'in chuin ajah a, Nangma soh-gilou! Keima henga nathum jeh'a bat chujat jenpi chu kangaidam nahitai.
Then his lord called him in and said to him, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.
33 Keiman nangma kakhoto tobanga chu nasoh chanpi nakhoto ding hilou ham? ati.
Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?’
34 Chuphat'in alung hang'ah lengpa chun abat aboncha asahchai kahsea dingin hichepa chu songkul'a akhumtai.
His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors until he should pay all that was due to him.
35 “Vana um ka-Pa chun nanghon nasopiteu chu nalungil'uva na ngaidam louva ahileh nachung'uva hitia chu achutibol ding ahi,” ati.
So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don’t each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.”
