< Isaiah 52 >

1 Thoudoh in, thoudoh in, Vo Zion! Nangmatah nathahatnan hung kivon’in. Naponsil hoitah chu kisillin, ajeh chu mi theng lou le Pathen ngaisah lou ho chu na kelkot honga hunglut talou ding ahitauve, Vo khopi theng, Jerusalem.
Awake, awake, put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, thou holy city; for no more shall enter into thee henceforth the uncircumcised and the unclean.
2 Vut vailah’a konin thoudoh in, jabolna muna touvin, Vo Jerusalem. Nangong changa soh kihenna thihkhao ho chu paimangin. Vo soh a kikaimang, Zion chanu.
Shake thyself free from the dust, arise, sit down, O Jerusalem: loosen thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive, daughter of Zion.
3 Ajeh iham itileh hiche hi Pakai sei: ‘Keiman nangho chu kajohdoh’a gam danga kathotdoh’ chun, keiman imacha kakilah dehpoi. Tua keiman naman dingu petalouva, kalhatdoh thei’u nahitauve.
For thus hath said the Lord, For naught were you sold, and without silver shall ye be redeemed.
4 Hiche hi Thuneipen Pakai chun aseije: Phat masa lai chun kamiten Aigupta gam'a chenna din akilhenuve. Tua hi Assyria ten amaho abol hesoh’uve.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Into Egypt went my people down aforetimes, to sojourn there, and Asshur hath oppressed it without cause.
5 Hiche hi ipi thu hitam? tin Pakaiyin aseije. Ipi iti danna kamite chu sohchang kitna hiu vem? Achunguva vaihom ho chu kithang at tah in asamuve. Kamin hi nilhum keijin ataitom’uvin ahi.
And now what have I here, saith the Lord, since my people hath been taken away for naught? its rulers vaunt aloud, saith the Lord, and continually, all the day, is my name blasphemed.
6 Hijongleh Kamin hi Kamite henga kaphon doh ding, chule athaneina ahin het dingu ahitai. Chuteng leh achaina keija amahon keima hi akomuva thusei penpa kahi chu ahetdoh dingu ahitai.
Therefore shall my people know my name, therefore on that day, that I am he that speaketh it: here am I.
7 Lhang sangho chunga thupole’a pang, Israel Pathen chu avaihomtai, tia Chamna Kipana Thupha le huhhingna thupoho kengphang chu iti hoiya hoi hitam!
How beautiful are upon the mountains the feet of the messenger of good tidings, that publisheth peace, that announceth tidings of happiness, that publisheth salvation, that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth.
8 Pakai chu Jerusalem’a ahung kile chun, Khopi ngahpa chun asamin chule amit mu’uva chun kipah le thanom tah in la asatai.
The voice of thy watchmen, —they raise their voice, together shall they shout; for eye to eye shall they see, when the Lord returneth unto Zion.
9 Pakaiyin Amite alhamon’a, Jerusalem alhatdamtah jeh in, ana kisuchimsa Jerusalem chun kipah le thanom tah in vahchoina la hin sadoh hen.
Break forth [in song], shout together, ye ruins of Jerusalem; the Lord hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem.
10 Chitin- namtin mit mua Pakaiyin athaneina thengtah chu avetsahtai. I Pathen’uvin agal jona leiset kolkim vella miten amusohkei dingu ahi.
The Lord hath made bare his holy arm before the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
11 Natoh khah chasun thenglou ahina’a konin potnin, potdoh'in chule nasohchanna chu dalhatan. Pakai dia athenga thil ho a’inlama pohon, hichea konhin potnun lang chule kisuthengun.
Depart ye, depart ye, go out from there, touch no unclean thing; go ye out from the midst of it; cleanse yourselves, ye bearers of the vessels of the Lord.
12 Nanghon na hinkhou kihuhbitna dinga, kino loutah’a na dalhah diu ahi. Ajeh chu Pakai chu na masang sanguva anamasa ding; Israel Pathen chun na nunglamu ahonbit ding ahi.
Not in haste shall ye go out, and not in flight shall ye go; for before you goeth the Lord, and your rereward is the God of Israel.
13 Veuvin, Kalhacha chu lolhing ding, Ama sangtah’a choisanga um ding ahi.
Behold, my servant shall be prosperous, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be placed very high.
14 Hinla mitampi chun amu phat’uvin kidang asauve. Amaa mai chu akilom hihbeh jengin, mihem mel aputahbeh tapon, chule alimsoa konin, ama chu mihem shi tia ahedoh ding hahsante.
Just as many were astonished at thee, so greatly was his countenance marred more than any [other] man's, and his form more than [that of] the sons of men, —
15 Chule aman namtin-vaipi alungkidan sah ding, Lengho jong Ama angsunga thusei ding helouva umding ahiuve. Ajeh chu amaho kiseipehlou amudingu, chule ajahkhahlou beh’u chu ahetkhen dingu ahitai.
Thus will he cause many nations to jump up in [astonishment]; at him will kings shut their mouth; for what had not been told unto them shall they see, and what they had never heard shall they understand.
