1 Pathen thilsem jouse laha gul hi a lungthim thempen ahi. Nikhat chu aman numeinu adong in, “Pathen in honsunga theiga jouse naneh thei lhon lou beh ding ahi tia asei mong em?” ati.
Now the serpent was more subtill then any beast of the fielde, which the Lord God had made: and he said to the woman, Yea, hath God in deede said, Ye shall not eate of euery tree of the garden?
2 Numei nu chun gul jaha keini'n “Eden hon sunga theiga jouse kaneh thei lhon ding ahi nai.”
And the woman said vnto the serpent, We eate of the fruite of the trees of the garden,
3 Ahin Pathen in hitin aseiye, “Hon lailung a theiga vangkhu naneh lhon lou hel ding, lo jong nalo lhon lou hel ding ahi. Ahin iti ham khat'a nalo lhon a naneh lhon le nathi jeng lhon ding ahi,” tin aseiye.
But of the fruite of the tree which is in the middes of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eate of it, neither shall ye touche it, lest ye die.
4 Hinlah Satan in numeinu jah a aseiyin, “Nathi lhon loubeh ding ahi.
Then the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not die at all,
5 Ajeh chu Pathen in ahet ahi hichu naneh nini lhonle namit lhon hung hahdoh intin Pathen toh nabah lhon ding thilpha le thilse hetheiya naum lhon ding ahi ti Pathen in ahet jeh'a asei ahi bouve,” atitai.
But God doeth knowe, that when ye shall eate thereof, your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and euill.

So the woman (seeing that the tree was good for meate, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to get knowledge) tooke of the fruite thereof, and did eate, and gaue also to her husband with her, and he did eate.
7 Hiche apat chun amit lhon chu ahung hahdoh in tahsa sagoh keo ahilhon chu aki hechen lhon tai. Hichun thing-phung na akilo lhon in atahsa lhon chu akisel na lhon tan ahi.
Then the eyes of them both were opened, and they knewe that they were naked, and they sewed figge tree leaues together, and made them selues breeches.
8 Chuin nisa dai lhah lamin honsunga Pakai Pathen awgin chu ajalhon in hijeh chun hon lailung'a thinglah a chun amani tah Pakai Pathen masanga akisel mang lhon tai.
Afterward they heard the voyce of the Lord God walking in the garden in the coole of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselues from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 Ahivang in Pakai Pathen in mihempa chu akouvin, “Adam hoiya umna hi tam?” atile,
But the Lord God called to the man, and said vnto him, Where art thou?
10 Adam in jong adonbut in “Keiman nangma honsung'a na hung chu ka hen ahile ka sagoh keo ka hijeh a ka kichat'a kisela kahi,” ati.
Who saide, I heard thy voyce in the garden, and was afraide: because I was naked, therefore I hid my selfe.
11 Hichun Pathen in jong aseiye, koi ham nangma sa gohkeova na um'e tia na seipeh a chu? Honsung'a theiga nehih in kati chu naneh hitam? atile,
And he saide, Who tolde thee, that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eate?
12 Adam in adonbut in, “Keiman ka um khompi dinga nangman neipeh numeinu hin theiga chu themkhat eipen keiman kana netai,” ati.
Then the man saide, The woman which thou gauest to be with me, she gaue me of the tree, and I did eate.
13 Chuphat in Pakai Pathen in numeinu jah'a aseiye, “Nang in ipi dinga hitobang pihi nabol hitam!” atile numei nun adonbut'in, “Hiche gul hin eijol jol phat'a kaneh ahi bouve,” ati.
And the Lord God saide to the woman, Why hast thou done this? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eate.
14 Hichun Pakai Pathen in gul jah'a, “Nangman hiche nana boldoh jeh in, ganhing jouse lah a nanghi sapset nachan ding na hinkho lhung keiya na oipoh'a na kithol tho ding, chule na hinkho sunga leivui naneh ding ahi.
Then the Lord God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed aboue all cattell, and aboue euery beast of the fielde: vpon thy belly shalt thou goe, and dust shalt thou eate all the dayes of thy life.
15 Keiman nangle numeinu chilhah kah a kidouna kakoi ding, amapa chun nangma hi na luchang avohchip a; nangman amapa kengphang na chuh peh ding ahi,”ati.
I will also put enimitie betweene thee and the woman, and betweene thy seede and her seede. He shall breake thine head, and thou shalt bruise his heele.
16 Pathen in numeinu jah'a chun hitin a seiye, “Keiman na naovop hahsatna kabe peh ding, nao-sonat gentheiya cha nahin doh ding ahi. Najipa chung'a vai nahom nom jing ding, ahi vang'a najipan nang chunga vai ahop ding ahi,”ati.
Vnto the woman he said, I will greatly increase thy sorowes, and thy conceptions. In sorowe shalt thou bring foorth children, and thy desire shalbe subiect to thine husband, and he shall rule ouer thee.
17 Chuin Pakai Pathen in Adam jah'a hitin ati, “Nangman naji thu nangaiya naneh louhel ding ahi tia ka thupehsa theiga naneh tah jeh in nangma jeh a leiset hi sapset chang ahitai. Chule na hinkho damlai sungse a gimna le genthei thohpum pum'a neh na kihol a naneh ding ahi.
Also to Adam he said, Because thou hast obeyed the voyce of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, (whereof I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eate of it) cursed is the earth for thy sake: in sorowe shalt thou eate of it all the dayes of thy life.
18 Chule nang doudin ling le mi-at thei jong hung kehdoh intin, chule nangma anche louhing a naki vahding ahi.
Thornes also, and thistles shall it bring foorth to thee, and thou shalt eate the herbe of the fielde.
19 Na ti-ul na mai ja long pum'a anneh na kihol'a na neh ding, chule nangma leiset a kisemdoh nahin leiset na leso kit ding ahiye,” ati.
In the sweate of thy face shalt thou eate bread, till thou returne to the earth: for out of it wast thou taken, because thou art dust, and to dust shalt thou returne.
20 Hichun Adam in ajinu chu amin Eve asah tai. Ajeh chu amanu mijouse hung pen dohna minu ahi tan ahi.
(And the man called his wiues name Heuah, because she was the mother of all liuing)
21 Hichun Pakai Pathen in savun akon in Adam le Eve ding von akhui peh in amani chu asilpeh in ahi.
Vnto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coates of skinnes, and clothed them.
22 Hichun Pathen in aseiye, “Tuapat'a hi Adam hi eiho lah'a khat tobang ahung hi tan, thilpha le thilse hethei jin a um tai, chule tunjong aman hinna thingphung ga khu kilo intin hin ne lhon leh tonsot'a hing den ding ahi tai ati.”
And the Lord God said, Beholde, the man is become as one of vs, to knowe good and euill. And nowe lest he put foorth his hand, and take also of ye tree of life and eate and liue for euer,
23 Hiche'a pat chun Pakai Pathen in Adam chu Eden hon a kon'in achondoh in amopohna chu alah peh tai.
Therefore the Lord God sent him foorth from the garden of Eden, to till ye earth, whence he was taken.
24 Hiti chun Pathen in Adam anodoh jouvin, Eden hon nisolam'a hinna thingphung ngah ding in vantil Cherubim chu achen sah in, chule chemjam kou jeju chu akipei kimvel le sahtan ahi.
Thus he cast out man, and at the East side of the garden of Eden he set the Cherubims, and the blade of a sworde shaken, to keepe the way of the tree of life.
