< Ezekiel 40 >
1 Ka sohchan kal u akum somni leh nga lhin kum – Jerusalem lhuh kal kum som le kum li lhin jou – Lhatun ni somni le get nin – Pakaiyin keima eituh chah kheh e.
In the twenty-fifth year of our exile at the beginning of the year. on the tenth of the month in the fourteenth year, after the city was smitten, on this selfsame day, came upon me the hand of Yahweh, and he brought me thither:
2 Pathenna konna lhagao thilmuna a chun Israel gam'a eipuijin chule mol sangtah khat chunga eitou sah e. Hiche a konna chun khopi tobang khat lhanglang gamkaija kamun ahi.
In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, —and set me down upon an exceeding high mountain, and thereupon, was, as it were the structure of a city, on the south.
3 Aman eihin pui naijep phat chun keiman amai sum eng tobang mihem khat khopi sung lutna kelkot koma ding chu kamui. Hiche mipa chun thil tena pon'a kisem khao khat leh thil tena mol khat akichoije.
And when he brought me thither, then lo! a man whose appearance was like the appearance of bronze, with a flax-cord in his hand and measuring reed, —and he was standing in the gate.
4 Aman kakoma aseijin, Mihem chapa, ven lang chule ngaijin. Keiman kavet sah jouse hi naijin lang lunglut tah in gellin. Keiman nangma thil tamtah kavetsah thei nadinga hiche munna hi nahung kipui lut ahi. Chuteng nangma Israel mite koma nakile kitna chule namu jouse hi amaho naseipeh ding ahi.
And the man spake unto me, saying. Son of man See with thine eyes And with thine ears, hear thou And apply thy heart to whatsoever I am about to show thee, For to the intent it might be shown thee, hast thou been brought hither, - Declare all that thou seest unto the house of Israel.
