< 1 Samuel 11 >

And he went up Nahash the Ammonite and he encamped on Jabesh Gilead and they said all [the] men of Jabesh to Nahash make to us a covenant and we will serve you.
2 Hichun Nahash in, “Aphai, ahinla aumdan khat sem uhite, Israel pumpi kajumso thei nadia, namit changu jetlam cheh ka kaldoh ding ahi,” ati.
And he said to them Nahash the Ammonite by this I will make to you by gouging out of you every eye of [the] right [side] and I will make it a reproach on all Israel.
3 Hichun amahon, “Achutile nisagi nei ngah un, Israel gamsunga mi sol uvinge, eikithopi diu koima ahung louva ahileh naheng uvah lut tau vinge,” tin Jabesh upa hon adonbut tauve.
And they said to him [the] elders of Jabesh refrain to us seven days so let us send messengers in all [the] territory of Israel and if there not [is one who] delivers us and we will come out to you.
4 Thupoho Saul umna Gibeah ahunglhun phat’un, mijouse mitchang kaldoh ding thu ajahdoh phat in khopi sunga mi jouse akapjah jeng tauvin ahi.
And they came the messengers Gibeah of Saul and they spoke the words in [the] ears of the people and they lifted up all the people voice their and they wept.
5 Hiche pettah’a chu Saul chu louva kona ganchahon nunga hunga ahi, chule khopi ahunglhun phat’in, “Ipi thilsoh uma hitam? Ipi jeh'a mipite hitobang tah’a khu kap-a hiuvem?” tin adong in ahile amahon Jabesh thupole ho thu chu aseipeh tauve.
And there! Saul [was] coming after the cattle from the field and he said Saul what? [is] to the people that they are weeping and they recounted to him [the] words of [the] men of Jabesh.
6 Chuin Saul’in chuche thusoh ajah phat’in, Pathen akona lhagao achungah ahung chun, alunghan nachu ahung koujah jeng in ahi.
And it rushed [the] spirit of God on Saul (just as heard he *Q(K)*) the words these and it burned anger his exceedingly.
7 Chuin bongchal ni athat’in, achanbong bongin, Israel gamkai jousea ahom dingin thupole ho asollin, “Samuel le Saul gal’a jui louva galkon lou jouse abongchal jouse hitia hi kichanpan ding ahi!” tin gih na jong aneiyin ahi. Chule Pathen in Saul lunghan chun mijouse akichat sah in, kilungkhat tah in ahung kikhom sohkeijun ahi.
And he took a pair of ox[en] and he cut in pieces it and he sent [them] in all [the] territory of Israel by [the] hand of the messengers - saying [the one] who not he [is] coming out after Saul and after Samuel thus it will be done to ox[en] his and it fell [the] dread of Yahweh on the people and they came out like a man one.
8 Chuin Saul’in Bezek mun’ah akhom khomin ahile Israel a kon mi sang jathum, chule Judah a kon, mi sang somthum akhom doh in ahi.
And he mustered them at Bezek and they were [the] people of Israel three hundred thousand and [the] man of Judah [was] thirty thousand.
9 Saul in thupole ho chu Jabesh-Gilead miho henga, “Jing sunkim le kithopina namu diu ahi!” tin thu ale thot in ahile hiche thusoh ajah phat’un, khopi sungah kipana lentah ahung lhungin ahi.
And they said to the messengers who had come thus you will say! to [the] man of Jabesh Gilead tomorrow it will belong to you deliverance (like [the] heat of *Q(K)*) the sun and they went the messengers and they told to [the] men of Jabesh and they were glad.
10 Jabesh mihon agal miteho komah “Jing teng naheng uva kahung diu ahin, kachunguva nabol nom chan nabol theiju ahi,” tin aseipeh taovin ahi.
And they said [the] men of Jabesh tomorrow will we go out to you and you will do to us according to all the good in view your.
11 Ahin, ajing jingkah matah in Saul ahung lhun’in, asepaite hopthum in ahom khen’in, khovah in amelmate ngahmun adelkhum’un, hiche jingkah sungse chun, Ammon mite athat in, ahingdoh chasun akithen cheh uvin, achang changing ajam mang tauvin ahi.
And it was from [the] next day and he made Saul the people three companies and they went in [the] midst of the camp in [the] watch of the morning and they struck down Ammon until [the] heat of the day and it was those [who] remained and they were scattered and not they remained among them two together.
12 Chuin mipiten Samuel jah’a, “Ipijeh’a Saul i-chung uva leng chang ding ham? tia seiho chu hoilai um gam uhi tam? Neipedoh un, that gam uvinge!” tin angeh un ahi.
And it said the people to Samuel who? [is] the [one who] said Saul will he reign? over us deliver up the men so we may put to death them.
13 Ahin Saul in adonbutin, “Tunia hi mi khatcha kithat lou ding ahi, ajeh chu tuni hi Israel ahuhhing nikho ni ahi,” ati.
And he said Saul not he will be put to death anyone on the day this for this day he has done Yahweh deliverance in Israel.
14 Chuin Samuel in mipi jah ah, “Hungun Gilgal ah cheu hitin, ilengpau gaphongdoh kit uhite,” ati.
And he said Samuel to the people come so let us go Gilgal so we may renew there the kingship.
15 Chuin mipite jouse chu Gilgal ah acheuvin, Pakai masang ah Saul chu Leng in asem doh tahbeh tauve. Hiti chun Pakai angsung ah chamna, kilhaina thilto gantha abolluvin, Saul jong Israel mite jong hapan akipah sohkei juvin ahi.
And they went all the people Gilgal and they made king there Saul before Yahweh in Gilgal and they sacrificed there sacrifices peace offerings before Yahweh and he rejoiced there Saul and all [the] men of Israel up to muchness.
