The sons of Levi; Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

2 Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amram ahin, Izhar ahin, Hebron ahin, chule Uzziel toh ahiuve.

And the sons of Kohath; Amram, Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

3 Amram chapate chu Aaron ahin, Moses ahin, chule Miriam toh ahi. Aaron chapate chu Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, chule Ithamar toh hichengse hi ahiuve.

And the children of Amram; Aaron, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

4 Eleazer hin Phinehas anahingin, Phinehas hin Abishua anahinge.

Eleazar begat Phinehas, Phinehas begat Abishua,

5 Abishua hin Bukki anahingin, Bukki hin Uzzi ahinge.

And Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi,

6 Uzzi hin Zerahiah ahingin, Zerahiah in Meraioth ahinge.

And Uzzi begat Zerahiah, and Zerahiah begat Meraioth,

7 Meraioth hin Amariah ahingin, Amariah hin Ahitub ahinge.

Meraioth begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

8 Ahitub hin Zadok ahingin, Zadok hin Ahimaaz ahinge.

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Ahimaaz,

9 Johanan hin Azariah chu ahingin, Azariah chun Johanan ahinge.

And Ahimaaz begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Johanan,

10 Johanan hin Azariah chu ahingin, amahi Jerusalem khopia Solomon hou-in sahdoh sunga thempu chungnunga hung pang ahi.

And Johanan begat Azariah, (he [it is] that executed the priest's office in the temple that Solomon built in Jerusalem: )

11 Azariah hin Amariah ahingin, Amariah chun Ahitub ahinge.

And Azariah begat Amariah, and Amariah begat Ahitub,

12 Ahitub hin Zadok ahingin, Zadok chun Shallum ahinge.

And Ahitub begat Zadok, and Zadok begat Shallum,

13 Shallum hin Hilkiah ahingin, Hilkiah chun Azariah ahinge.

And Shallum begat Hilkiah, and Hilkiah begat Azariah,

14 Azariah hin Seraiah ahingin, Seraiah chun Jehozadak ahingin ahi.

And Azariah begat Seraiah, and Seraiah begat Jehozadak,

15 Pakaiyin Judah mite leh Jerusalem mite soh-changa asol manga Nebuchadnezzar khut’a atolmang sah phat’in Jehozadak jong hi soh-changin achemang tan ahi.

And Jehozadak went [into captivity], when the LORD carried away Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

The sons of Levi; Gershom, Kohath, and Merari.

17 Gershom chapate ni chu Libni leh Shimei ahilhone.

And these [are] the names of the sons of Gershom; Libni, and Shimei.

18 Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amram ahin, Izhar ahin, Hebron ahin, chule Uzziel ahi.

And the sons of Kohath [were], Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel.

19 Merari son achilhah teni chu Mahli le Mushi ahilhone. Anoiya mi hichengse hi apu apau kailhah cheh ama ama insung dol cheh’a Levi miho insung jeng ahiuve:

The sons of Merari; Mahli, and Mushi. And these [are] the families of the Levites according to their fathers.

20 Gershon insung ahileh, Libni ahin, Jahath ahin, Zimmah ahin,

Of Gershom; Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,

21 Joah ahin, Iddo ahin, Zerah ahin, chule Jeatherai ahi.

Joah his son, Iddo his son, Zerah his son, Jeaterai his son.

22 Kohath son achilhah ho chu Amminadab ahin, Korah ahin, Assir ahin,

The sons of Kohath; Amminadab his son, Korah his son, Assir his son,

Elkanah his son, and Ebiasaph his son, and Assir his son,

And the sons of Samuel; the first-born Vashni, and Abiah.

29 Merari son achilhah ho chu Mahli ahin, Libni ahin, Shimei ahin, Uzzah ahin,

The sons of Merari; Mahli, Libni his son, Shimei his son, Uzza his son,

30 Shimei ahin, Haggiah ahin, chule Asaiah ahi.

Shimea his son, Haggiah his son, Asaiah his son.

31 Pakai hou-in sunga Pathen thingkong ahung kitol lut nunga David’in hou-in sunga la lamkaiya pang dia anganse miho chu hicheng hi ahiuve.

And these [are they] whom David set over the service of song in the house of the LORD, after that the ark had rest.

35 Toah chu Zuph chapa ahin, Zuph chu Elkanah chapa ahin, Elkanah chu Mahath chapa ahin, Mahath chu Amasai chapa ahi.

The son of Zuph, the son of Elkanah, the son of Mahath, the son of Amasai,

36 Amasai chu Elkanah chapa ahin, Elkanah chu Joel chapa ahi, Joel chu Azariah chapa ahin, Azariah chu Zephaniah chapa ahi.

The son of Elkanah, the son of Joel, the son of Azariah, the son of Zephaniah,

37 Zephaniah chu Tahath chapa ahin, Tahath chu Assir chapa ahin, Assir chu Ebiasaph chapa ahin, Ebiasaph chu Korah chapa ahi.

The son of Tahath, the son of Assir, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah,

38 Korah chu Izhar chapa ahin, Izhar chu Kohath chapa ahi; Kohath chu Levi chapa ahin, Levi chu Israel chapa ahi.

The son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.

39 Heman’in manchah phapenna anei masapa Gershon chilhah miho lah’a Asaph kitipa chu Berekiah chapa ahin, Berekiah chu Shimea chapa ahi;

And his brother Asaph, who stood on his right hand, [even] Asaph the son of Berechiah, the son of Shimea,

40 Shimea hi Michael chapa ahin, Michael chu Baaseiah chapa ahi. Baaseiah chu Malkijah chapa ahin,

The son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchiah,

41 Malkijah chu Ethnic chapa ahi; Ethnic chu Zerah chapa ahin, Zerah chu Adaiah chapa ahi,

The son of Ethni, the son of Zerah, the son of Adaiah,

42 Adaiah chu Ethan chapa ahin, Ethan chu Zimmah chapa ahi; Zimmah chu Shimei chapa ahin,

The son of Ethan, the son of Zimmah, the son of Shimei,

43 Shimei chu Jathah chapa ahi; Jathah chu Gershom chapa ahin, Gershom chu Levi chapa ahi.

The son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44 Hemanin manchah phapenna anei ani channa pa Merari chilhah miho lah’a Ethan chu Kishi chapa ahin, Kishi chu Abdi chapa ahin, Abdi chu Malluch chapa ahin,

And their brethren the sons of Merari [stood] on the left hand: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch,

45 Malluch chu Hashabiah chapa ahin, Hashabiah chu Amaziah chapa ahin, Amaziah chu Hilkiah chapa ahin,

The son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah,

46 Hilkiah chu Amzi chapa ahin, Amzi chu Bani chapa ahin, Bani chu Shemer chapa ahin,

The son of Amzi, the son of Bani, the son of Shamer,

47 Shemer chu Mahli chapa ahin, Mahli chu Mushi chapa ahin, Mushi chu Merari chapa ahin chule Merari chu Levi chapa ahiye.

The son of Mahli, the son of Mushi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.

48 Amaho sopite Levi phung sung mite jouse chu abonchauvin Pathen hou-in houbuh sunga natong kinbol din akipansah soh keiyuvin ahi.

Their brethren also the Levites [were] appointed to all manner of service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49 Aaron le achapate jeng bouseh chu Thempu kin tongin apanguvin ahi. But Aaron and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt-offering, and on the altar of incense, [and were appointed] for all the work of the [place] most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.

50 Aaron son chilhah hochu hicheng hi ahiuve: Aaron chapa chu Eleazar ahin, Eleazar chapa chu Phinehas ahin, Phinehas chapa chu Abishua ahi.

And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son,

51 Abishua chapa chu Bukki ahin, Bukki chapa chu Uzzi ahin, Uzzi chapa chu Zerahiah ahi.

Bukki his son, Uzzi his son, Zerahiah his son,

52 Zerahiah chapa chu Meraioth ahin, Meraioth chapa chu Amariah ahin; Amariah chapa chu Ahitub ahi.

Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son,

53 Ahitub chapa chu Zadok ahin, chule Zadok chapa chu Ahimaaz ahiye.

Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54 Hichengse hi amaho gamgi hop sunga achenna mun chengseu chu ahiye: Aaron chapate Kohath phung sung mite dinga phun kisan chu aphat jeh’in,

Now these [are] their dwelling-places throughout their castles in their limits, of the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot.

55 Mihon amaho chu Judah gamsunga Hebron khopi le akimvel gamse se toh chule avel’a hamhing gam gancha vahna ding jouse chutoh apeh tha taove;

And they gave them Hebron in the land of Judah, and its suburbs around it.

56 Amavang akhopi loujao lah chengse leh akhoneo dung jouse chu Caleb kitipa Jephunneh chapa chu apetauve.

But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

57 Aaron chapa dinga khopi anapeh’u chule ahamhing gamsunga cheh toh anakipeh tha ho chu: Hebron khopi ( kiselna khopi ), Libnah khopi, Jattir khopi, Eshtemoa khopi,

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of Judah, [namely], Hebron, [the city] of refuge, and Libnah with its suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs,

58 Holon khopi, Debir khopi,

And Hilen with its suburbs, Debir with its suburbs,

59 Ain khoppi, Juttah khopi, chule Beth-Shemesh khopi toh hichengse hi ahi.

And Ashan with its suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with its suburbs:

60 Chuleh Benjamin phunga kona alahdoh-u khopi ho chu Gibeon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, Geba khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, Alemeth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahin, chule Anatholh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse toh ahi. Aaron chapate ainsung pumpiuva achan jat’u khopi chu abonchan khopi som le khopi thum alhingin ahi.

And out of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with its suburbs, and Alemeth with its suburbs, and Anathoth with its suburbs. All their cities throughout their families [were] thirteen cities.

61 Kohath chapate amoh chengse din Bamau insung dinga phum aphatna dungjuiyin, Manasseh phung keh khat, hichea phunga kon chun khopi som khat jen akipen ahi.

And to the sons of Kohath [who were] left of the family of that tribe, [were cities given] out of the half tribe, [namely], [out of] the half [tribe] of Manasseh, by lot, ten cities.

62 Gershom chapate chu phun kisan aphat dungjuiyin, Issachar gam'a kon, Asher gam'a kon, Naphtali gam'a kon, chule Jordan solam’a um Bashan gam'a Manasseh phunga kona kidong khom khopi agomin khopi som le khopi thum achanguvin ahi.

And to the sons of Gershom throughout their families [were given] out of the tribe of Issachar, and out of the tribe of Asher, and out of the tribe of Naphtali, and out of the tribe of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

63 Merari chapate jong phun kisan aphat dungjuiyin, Reuben gam'a kon, Gad gam'a kon, chule Zebulun gam'a kon kidong khom khopi som le khopi ni acheng uvin ahiye.

To the sons of Merari [were given] by lot, throughout their families, out of the tribe of Reuben, and out of the tribe of Gad, and out of the tribe of Zebulun, twelve cities.

64 Hitobang hin Israel chaten Levite chu khopi chujat chutoh ahamhing gamsese toh anapeuvin ahiye.

And the children of Israel gave to the Levites [these] cities with their suburbs.

65 Hitobang hin phun phatna dungjuiyin, Judah phunga kon, Simeon phunga kon, chule Benjamin phunga konin achunga kisei khopi ho hi anapeuvin ahi.

And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Judah, and out of the tribe of the children of Simeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities, which are called by [their] names.

66 Kohath chapate insung mi phabep jong Ephraim phunga konin agamsunguva khopi phabep le ahamhing gamsungse cheh achanguvin,

And [the residue] of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.

67 hiche khopi ho chu: Shechem ( kiselna hoidohna khopi Ephraim thinglhang gam'a um ) ahin, Gezer khopi ahin,

And they gave to them, [of] the cities of refuge, Shechem in mount Ephraim with its suburbs; [they gave] also Gezer with its suburbs,

68 Jokmeam khopi ahin, Beth-horon khopi ahin,

And Jokmeam with its suburbs, and Beth-horon with its suburbs,

69 Aijalon khopi ahin, chule Gath-Rimmon khopi chengse hi ahi.

And Ajalon with its suburbs, and Gath-rimmon with its suburbs:

70 Kohath chapate amoh chengse kipe khopi ho chu Manasseh phung keh khat’a kon in jong Aner le bileam khopi cheh leh Ahamhing gamsungse cheh toh ahin ahi.

And out of the half tribe of Manasseh; Aner with its suburbs, and Bileam with its suburbs, for the family of the remnant of the sons of Kohath.

71 Gershon insung mite kipe khopi ho chu Bashan gamsunga Golan khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese, chule Manasseh phung keh khat’a kona Ashtaroth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahiye.

To the sons of Gershom [were given] out of the family of the half tribe of Manasseh, Golan in Bashan with its suburbs, and Ashtaroth with its suburbs:

72 Isssachar phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Kedesh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Deberath khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se,

And out of the tribe of Issachar; Kedesh with its suburbs, Daberath with its suburbs,

73 Ramoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se le Anem khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

And Ramoth with its suburbs, and Anem with its suburbs:

74 Asher phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Mashal khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, Abdon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se,

And out of the tribe of Asher; Mashal with its suburbs, and Abdon with its suburbs,

75 Hakok khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, chule Rehob khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

And Hukok with its suburbs, and Rehob with its suburbs:

76 Naphtali phung sunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu, Galilee gamsunga Kedesh khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Hammon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se, chule Kiriathaim khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahi.

And out of the tribe of Naphtali: Kedesh in Galilee with its suburbs, and Hammon with its suburbs, and Kirjathaim with its suburbs.

77 Merari chate amoh chengse chu Zebulun phunga konin Jokneam khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Kartah khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Rimmon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Tabor khopi ahamhing gamsungse se akipen ahi.

To the rest of the children of Merari [were given] out of the tribe of Zebulun, Rimmon with its suburbs, Tabor with its suburbs:

78 Reuben phung sunga kona kipe khopi ho chu Jordan vadung gal lang Jericho khopi dunga, Jordan kal niso lam’a Bezer khopi ( Nel khopi ) le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, Jahaz khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin,

And on the other side of Jordan by Jericho, on the east side of Jordan, [were given them] out of the tribe of Reuben, Bezer in the wilderness with its suburbs, and Jahzah with its suburbs,

79 Kedermoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Mephaath khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se toh akipen ahi.

Kedemoth also with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs:

80 Chutengleh Gad phunga kona kipedoh khopi ho chu Gilead gamsunga Ramoth khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese ahin,

And out of the tribe of Gad; Ramoth in Gilead with its suburbs, and Mahanaim with its suburbs,

81 Heshbon khopi le ahamhing gamsungse se ahin, chule Jazer khopi le ahamhing gamsungsese ahi.

And Heshbon with its suburbs, and Jazer with its suburbs.
