1 Aaron chapate kihop khen dan chu hiti hi ahi: Nadab ahin, Abihu ahin, Eleazer leh Ethamar amaho cheng hi ahiuve.
Now [these are] the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Nadab le Abihu hi apa sang in athimasa lhon in, chajong aneiman lhon tapoi; chuin Eleazer leh Ithamar chu thempu ahung hilhon tai.
But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3 Eleazar chapate lah'a kon’le Zadok le Ithamar chapate lah’a kon Ahimelech panpina jal’in David chun ama ama natoh ding toh kisaijin agoltoh sohkeijun ahi.
And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service.
4 Ithamar chapate sang in, Eleazar chapate sunga chun miupa atam un, hijeh chun Eleazar chapate lah’a chun apu apateu insung lhahdol cheh in, lamkai somle gup alhengdoh un, amaho lamkai nan aum un ahi. Chule Ithamar chapte ding in lamkai miget bou ana lhengdoh un ahi.
And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [thus] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [there were] sixteen chief men of the house of [their] fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5 Akilhengdoh le lamkaija kipansah hohi kibang chetna vang kisansah ahiuvin, hitia akibolnaa kon chun Eleazar leh Ithamar chapate lah’a kon in, muntheng a natong vaihom dingleh Pathen natohna vaibol ding tampi kisepdoh ahi.
Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6 Nathanel kiti Levi mi Shemiah hi danthu them ahin, amaho chengse chu lengpa le milen milalte angsung, Zadok thempupa angsung le Abiathar chapa Ahimelech angsung le thempu ho chule Levi miho, apu apateuva pat phung upa chengse lekha in ajihlut tan ahi; ajeh chu pa khang khat lhahse chu Eleazar insunga kon kilhengdoh ahin, chule pa khang khat lhah chengse ma chu Ithamar insunga dia kilhengdoh ahi.
And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and [before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one] taken for Ithamar.

Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,

The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
9 angana chu Malchijah chunga achun, agupna Mijamin chunga achun,
The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,
10 asagina chu Hakkoz chunga achun, agetna chu Abijah chunga achun,
The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,
11 akonan Jeshua chunga achun, asomna Shecaniah chunga achun,
The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,

The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,

The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer,

The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,

The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah.
19 Amaho chengse hi akipansahna cheh uvin, natoh ding anei cheh un, Pathen houin sung ahung lut phat uleh, Pakai, Israel Pathen in Apupau Aaron thu anapeh bang leh, Aaron in amaho chengse tohding agontoh bang in atohdiuva kilom cheng chu atong jiuvin ahi.
These [were] the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him.
20 Levi chapate adangse chu: Amran chapatea kon Shubael, chule Shubael chapatea kon Jehdeiah ahi.
And the rest of the sons of Levi [were these: ] Of the sons of Amram; Shubael: of the sons of Shubael; Jehdeiah.
21 Rehabiah chapate chu: Rehabiah chapatea kon Isshiah chu aupa pen ahi.
Concerning Rehabiah: of the sons of Rehabiah, the first [was] Isshiah.
22 Izhar chapatea kon Shelomoth ahin, Shelomoth chapatea kon Jahath ahi.
Of the Izharites; Shelomoth: of the sons of Shelomoth; Jahath.
23 Hebron chapate chu: Jeriah chu aupapen ahin, ani channapa chu Amariah ahin, athum channapa chu Jahaziel ahin, ali channapa chu Jekameam ahi.
And the sons [of Hebron; ] Jeriah [the first], Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.
24 Uzziel chapatea kon Micah ahin, Micah chapatea kon Shamir ahi.
[Of] the sons of Uzziel; Michah: of the sons of Michah; Shamir.
25 Micah sopipa chu Isshiah ahin, Isshiah chapatea kon Zechariah ahi.
The brother of Michah [was] Isshiah: of the sons of Isshiah; Zechariah.
26 Merari chapate ni chu Jaaziah Mahli le Mushi ahilhon e. Jaaziah chapatea kon Beno ahi.
The sons of Merari [were] Mahli and Mushi: the sons of Jaaziah; Beno.
27 Merari chapate chu Jaaziah chapatea kon Beno le Shoham, Zaccur le Ibri ahiuve.
The sons of Merari by Jaaziah; Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Ibri.
28 Mahil chapa chu: Eleazar ahin, amapa hin chapa ana hing tapoi.
Of Mahli [came] Eleazar, who had no sons.
29 Kish akon Kish chapatea kon Jerahmeel ahi.
Concerning Kish: the son of Kish [was] Jerahmeel.
30 Mushi chapate chu Mahli le Eder chule Jerimoth ahiuve. Amaho chengse hi Levi mitea kon chapa, apu apateu lhah’a ama insung cheh’a kon kisimdoh ahiuve.
The sons also of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These [were] the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers.
31 Amaho chengse hin apa jang lhah insung cheh in, asopiteu umchan bang in Aaron chapate nunle khan athouvin ahi. David lengpa angsung le Zadok angsung, Ahimelech chule thempu ho apu apateu insung cheh’a kon chule Levi miho masanga chun vang akisan cheh tauve.
These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren.
