1 Te phoeiah Shuhi Bildad loh a doo tih,

Then answered Bildad the Shuchite, and said,

2 “A taemrhai ham neh birhihnah he amah hut ni. Amah kah hmuensang ah rhoepnah a saii.

Dominion and dread are with him: he maketh peace in high places.

3 A caem taengah hlangmi om nim? U soah nim amah kah vangnah a hlah pawh.

Can the number of his hosts be given? and over whom riseth not his light?

4 Te dongah hlanghing he Pathen taengah metlam a tang thai? Huta kah a sak te metlam a cim eh?

How then can man be justified with God? or how can be one that is born of woman?

5 A mikhmuh ah hla pataeng khaw aa pawt tih aisi khaw a cil moenih.

Behold, even as regardeth the moon, that is not bright; yea, the stars are not pure in his eyes.

6 Hlanghing aisat a rhit banghui ni, hlang capa khaw talam banghui,” a ti nah.

How much less the mortal, the mere worm? and the son of earth, the mere maggot?
