1 Te phoeiah Moses neh Aaron te cet rhoi tih Pharaoh te, “Israel Pathen BOEIPA loh, ‘Ka pilnam he hlah lamtah khosoek kah kamah taengah lam uh saeh,’ a ti,” a ti nah rhoi.
And after they went Moses and Aaron and they said to Pharaoh thus he says Yahweh [the] God of Israel let go people my so they may celebrate a festival to me in the wilderness.
2 Tedae Pharaoh loh, “U BOEIPA nim a ol te ngai vetih Israel te ka hlah eh? BOEIPA te ka ming pawt dongah Israel te ka hlah mahpawh,” a ti nah.
And he said Pharaoh who? [is] Yahweh that I will listen to voice his by letting go Israel not I know Yahweh and also Israel not I will let go.
3 Te phoeiah, “Hebrew rhoek kah Pathen loh kaimih te n'doe. Longpuei hnin thum caeh kah khosoek ah ka cet uh mai eh. BOEIPA ka Pathen te ka nawn uh pawn eh. Kaimih he duektahaw neh, cunghang neh n'cuuk tarha ve,” a ti nah rhoi.
And they said [the] God of the Hebrews he has met with us let us go please a journey of three days in the wilderness and let us sacrifice to Yahweh God our lest he should fall on us with pestilence or with the sword.
4 Tedae Egypt manghai loh amih rhoi te, “Moses neh Aaron, balae tih pilnam te a bitat na hlahpham sak, namah bi la cet,” a ti nah.
And he said to them [the] king of Egypt why? O Moses and Aaron are you causing to refrain the people from work its go to forced labor your.

And he said Pharaoh here! [is] many now [the] people of the land and you have caused to cease them from forced labor their.
6 Te khohnin ah tah Pharaoh loh pilnam sokah aka tueihno rhoek neh a rhoiboei rhoek te a uen.
And he commanded Pharaoh on the day that the taskmasters over the people and foremen its saying.
7 “Hlaem hlaemvai kah bangla laiboeng aka saii pilnam te cangkong paek ham vaengah koei pa uh boeh. Amamih cet uh saeh lamtah amamih ham cangkong te coi uh saeh.
Not you will repeat! to give straw to the people to make bricks the bricks as yesterday three days ago they let them go and they may gather for themselves straw.
8 Tedae laiboeng kah a lan a tang tah amih taengah hlaem hlaemvai kah, a saii bangla khueh uh lamtah yueh pah boeh. A duem uh ham tangloeng ni pang uh tangkhuet tih, ‘Ka Pathen te nawn ham ka cet ni,’ a ti uh.
And [the] measurement of the bricks which they [were] making yesterday three days ago you will place on them not you will diminish from it for [are] idle they there-fore they [are] crying out saying let us go let us sacrifice to God our.
9 Hlang rhoek ham thohtatnah loh a nan daengah ni te te a saii uh vetih laithae ol taengla a mang uh pawt eh,” a ti nah.
Let it be heavy the labor on the men so they may work in it and may not them pay attention to words of falsehood.
10 Te phoeiah pilnam aka tueihno neh a rhoiboei rhoek te cet uh tih pilnam te a voek uh. Te vaengah, “Pharaoh loh, ‘Nangmih te cangkong kam pae mahpawh,’ a ti.
And they went out [the] taskmasters of the people and foremen its and they said to the people saying thus he says Pharaoh not I [am] giving to you straw.
11 Namamih cet uh lamtah me lamkah a hmuh uh akhaw cangkong te namamih loh vawthaih uh. Tedae ol vanbangla na thohtatnah te hnop boeh,” a ti nah.
You go acquire for yourselves straw from where you will find [it] for not [is] diminished from labor your anything.
12 Te vaengah pilnam te cangkong yueng la divawt coi ham Egypt kho tom ah taekyak uh.
And it scattered the people in all [the] land of Egypt to gather stubble for the straw.
13 Te vaengah aka tueihno rhoek loh a tanolh uh tih, “Cangkong a om vaengkah bangla hnin at kah na bi tueng hno te amah khohnin ah coeng uh,” a ti nah.
And the taskmasters [were] pressing [them] saying complete work your a matter of a day in day its just as when was the straw.
14 Amih sokah a khueh Pharaoh kah a tueihno rhoek loh Israel ca rhoek kah rhoiboei te a ngawn uh tih, “Hlaem hlavai kah bangla saii ham khaw hlaem neh tihnin kah khaw balae tih na oltlueh te na coeng uh pawh,” a ti na uh.
And they were struck [the] foremen of [the] people of Israel whom they had appointed over them [the] taskmasters of Pharaoh saying why? not have you completed prescribed portion your by making bricks as yesterday three days ago neither yesterday nor this day.
15 Te dongah Israel ca rhoek kah rhoiboei rhoek te cet uh tih Pharaoh taengah pang uh tih, “Balae tih na sal rhoek taengah he he na saii.
And they went [the] foremen of [the] people of Israel and they cried out to Pharaoh saying why? are you doing thus to servants your.
16 Na sal rhoek he cangkong m'paek pawt ah kaimih taengah laiboeng saii ham a thui uh. Na pilnam a tholh akhaw na sal rhoek ni n'ngawn uh coeng he,” a ti na uh.
Straw not [is being] given to servants your and bricks [people are] saying to us make and there! servants your [are] being struck and you have sinned people your.
17 Tedae, “Nangmih aka duem la aka duem rhoek, nangmih loh BOEIPA taengah hmueih nawn la caeh ham na thui tangkhuet.
And he said [are] idle you idle there-fore you [are] saying let us go let us sacrifice to Yahweh.
18 Te dongah cet uh lamtah thotat uh laeh. Nangmih te cangkong m'paek pawt akhaw laiboeng tah a rhimong hil pae uh,” a ti nah.
And now go work and straw not it will be given to you and [the] measurement of bricks you will give.
19 “Amah khohnin ah hnin at kah olka bangla na laiboeng te hnop boeh,” a ti coeng dongah amih loh a yoethae a puei te Israel ca kah rhoiboei rhoek loh a hmuh uh.
And they saw [the] foremen of [the] people of Israel themselves in trouble saying not you will diminish from bricks your a matter of a day in day its.
20 Pharaoh taeng lamloh a nong vaengah amih rhoi doe ham aka pai rhoek loh Moses neh Aaron te a doo uh.
And they met Moses and Aaron standing to meet them when came out they from with Pharaoh.
21 Te vaengah amih rhoi te, “BOEIPA loh nangmih te m'hmu saeh lamtah laitloek nawn saeh. Mamih kah hmuehmuei te Pharaoh mik ah bo a rhim sak tih a sal rhoek mikhmuh ah mamih ngawn ham a kut ah cunghang a paek,” a ti rhoi.
And they said to them may he look Yahweh on you and may he judge that you have made stink odor our in [the] eyes of Pharaoh and in [the] eyes of servants his to put a sword in hand their to kill us.
22 Te dongah Moses te BOEIPA taengla mael tih, “Ka Boeipa aw, balae tih pilnam soah thae na huet? Balae tih he la kai nan tueih?
And he returned Moses to Yahweh and he said O Lord why? have you done harm to the people this why? this did you send me.
23 Na ming neh thui ham Pharaoh taengla ka pawk lamkah te pilnam he ni thae a huet thil tih, na pilnam te na huul khaw na huul hae moenih,” a ti nah.
And from then I went to Pharaoh to speak in name your he has done harm to the people this and certainly not you have delivered people your.
