1 David ih Saam laa. Angraeng, mi maw na ohhaih kahni im ah om tih? Mi maw nang ih kaciiim mae ah om tih?

A Melody of David. O Yahweh! Who shall be a guest in thy tent? Who shall abide in thy holy mountain?

2 Katoeng ah caeh kami, toenghaih hmuen sah kami, palung thung hoi toenghaih lokthui kami,

He that walketh without blame, and doeth what is right, and speaketh truth with his heart;

3 palai hoi kami pronghaih lok thui vai ai kami, angmah imtaeng kami khaeah kahoih ai hmuen sah vai ai kami, angmah imtaeng kami ahminsae thui vai ai kami,

Hath not carried slander on his tongue, hath not done his friend a wrong, nor, a reproach, taken up against his neighbour;

4 kasae kami to panuet moe, Angraeng zithaih tawn kaminawk khingyahaih paek kami, angmah han sethaih om langlacadoeh a lokkamhaih baktih toengah poek amkhrai ai kami,

Despised in his sight, is the reprobate, but, them who revere Yahweh, he doth honour, he hath sworn to his neighbour, and will not change;

5 a coi ih phoisa nuiah a caa kangpung la ai kami, sakpazaehaih tawn ai kami, nganbawh kana paek hanah, minawk khae hoi bokhaih tangqum talawk ai kaminawk ni om o tih. Hae hmuennawk sah kami loe natuek naah doeh angthui mak ai.

His silver, hath he not put out on interest, nor, a bribe against the innocent, hath he taken. He that doeth these things, shall not be shaken unto times age-abiding.
